Return from the Apocalypse is a real page-turner just like the first book, and I would definitely recommend both to anyone who is into the TEOTWAWKI genre. Looking forward to more from Blake Pitcher.

A good read! Much like the book before it, I couldn't stop reading this once i had started. I still really like the writing style and I think the story is engaging and interesting.

Is there a third book? Because I have a lot of questions. What's waiting in the wastelands? How will things resolve with Mack? Will they reunite with Dixie? And I feel like the story with Sal was never resolved. I mean, that guy spent years caring for Esther and he was Mack's dad, for all intent and purposes. It seems wrong the way they just leave him, even if he's a jerk. It makes me really not like Esther. In fact, the more I think about it, I don't actually like Esther too much. She's a bit of a whore, and seems to be pretty selfish in general.

Also, I wish we had more from Zule. I would really really have liked to know more about her motivations and her start.
