This book is worth the price simply for the creamy greens recipe. Seriously though, I've made a ton out of it and the flavors are amazing.

I checked this and other books out from the library prior to Christmas. My son and his fiancé were going to be with me for an extended visit (they live out of the country but in addition to visiting family for the holidays they were doing some wedding planning 💖). I wanted to make sure I had an assortment of vegan recipes ready to fix.

It’s easy to get tons of recipes online these days, but there’s something about flipping through pages of a cookbook that is so enjoyable! And I found this to be my favorite of the books I looked at. They presented an assortment of sauces to use, and then would offer 3-5 options for using that flavor. Sometimes part of a recipe sounds good but there’s something are things that don’t fit your taste - so this offered options and show how on your own you can take parts of recipes and mix and match to customize.

So I decided to make a very non traditional Christmas meal featuring vegan bbq lentil meatballs. Until my granddaughter who was visiting said, “you know Grandma, your regular meatballs are one of my favorite things and I was hoping you’d make them while we’re here”. Who can resist a request like that?! So we had two pans of meatballs - meat & vegan 😂.

I like this one a lot. It's kind of centered around a number of different sauces and goes through a bunch of different recipes you can use each one in, and there are whole sections just devoted to different types of chili, for instance, or veggie burgers, or pizzas. Everything looks spicy and delicious, and there are really nice photos of everything.

My main hesitations are that most of the recipes take a little longer to prepare than I would prefer (generally around 45 minutes), and the dessert section is way bigger than I ever want in any cookbook (that's a personal failing of mine, I suppose--I almost completely lack a sweet tooth).

But I'm thinking this one might be worth spending more time with at some point, and there are definitely quite a few things I'm interested in attempting, despite the time commitment. I mean, 45 minutes is really not all that bad, especially since I'm mostly getting home from work before 5:30 these days...

This book only arrived last week & I already LOVE it. Delicious recipes, plenty of basic info for non-adventurous & beginner/intermediate cooks, easy to follow instructions.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to add more veggies to their diet, transitioning to wholesome vegan eating, or just after a new collection of delicious, healthy, wholesome options to add to their food rotation.

CONTAINS
>Lots of basics; like metric conversion rates, cooking method time variations, lots of options for similar types of foods (ie many burger patty options), pantry items, tools of the trade & a glossary for commonly used bulk like grains, flours, beans, etc.

>Recipes are DELICIOUS. The first one we made were the Quinoa mushroom burgers and they tasted AMAZING!
**Tip, make the burger patties the day before and leave them overnight. The flavour intensifies and they taste better the next day. I had leftover cold patties on top of a salad for lunch to give it some 'bulk' and it tasted awesome & left me feeling satisfied, without the post-meal carb hangover!

+ Make double & freeze to make 2 dinners, with only 1 lot of cleaning up & prep.

My favorite thing about this book was being introduced to Vegan Richa and her website. I will explore that more as we continue to seek healthy ways of living and cooking guaranteed to halt the aging process in its tracks! A few of the recipes that appealed to me most were found on the website. The pictures are great and the book is well organized. In particular, I am looking forward to making celery black pepper tofu and golden milk chia pudding with orange and ginger.

Another book by Richa Hingle that I keep coming back to. Still lots of recipes I haven't tried in this book. But the crisped sweet and sour tofu and tikki masala chickpeas are ones I keep coming back to. Her amazing sauce method is a great time saver - if you can get organized and make the basic sauces in advance. The pizza crust is awesome too. Haven't even tried the burgers yet but I will get there eventually!

I cooked my way through her previous cookbook, "Vegan Richa's Indian Kitchen." Each yummy dish comes out perfectly every time! I appreciate that she has included nutritional info in this new book!

Absolutely gorgeous cookbook -- it has an Indian flair but most ingredients are easily accessible in the US. There isn't a recipe in here that you'd make quickly. Most require preparing complicated sauces, and then several recipes can be created using the sauce. I've only made a few for this reason, but I'll continue to use it as a vegan resource!

Richa's Cookbooks are a staple in my house. I highly recommend her work for anyone who is looking to eat healthier and incorporate more plant-based options. This is a great one to start with. Richa has a lot of small bites and hand-held foods that are quick and easy. There are quick bread recipes and some very good ideas when you need to pull a pantry recipe with what you have.

This cookbook is full of gorgeous photos and really great sounding ideas. I was impressed by the amount of options available for each recipe, to account for any allergies or preferences that the reader may have. It seems very well researched and thought out. I'll probably buy a copy of this one.

This is a hard cookbook for beginners. You have to create sauces and ingredients before you can cook a dish. So if you are new too cooking or eating plant based, I wouldn't start with this cookbook. But as you get more comfortable in the kitchen it's got some great flavors and new areas to cover.

I gave this to my vegan cousin as a Christmas present. Beautiful pictures and the recipes looked easy enough to follow. I am just not that into spice as much as she is :)

There are some interesting sounding recipes that I'm eager to try. This cookbook is arranged around a series of foundation sauces, but a lot of the sauces require ingredients I probably won't purchase. I am going to focus more on her stand alone recipes.

I work in a library. I do not buy books. I bought this book, even though I can keep renewing it or placing another copy on hold, because I like the recipes so much. Did I mention I'm not vegan? Great book!

I like this cookbook better than per previous cookbook. Both are terrific, but I think these recipes are slightly easier and more accessible. Still YUMMY, just easier to make. :-)

I absolutely adored " Vegan Richa's Everyday Kitchen : Epic Anytime Recipes with Worlds of Flavor" This cookbook is truly a masterpiece of vegan cuisine, offering up an incredible array of mouth-watering dishes that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. What I loved most about this cookbook is that it goes beyond the basics of vegan cooking and explores new and exciting flavor combinations that are sure to take your taste buds on a culinary adventure. From the spicy and smoky flavors of the Smoky Spice Mac Bake to the sweet and tangy flavors of the date-sweetened teriyaki sauce and sweet and sour chickpeas. There is also a great Chocolate peanut butter ganache cake that is also great with sunflower butter or tahini as a substitute! Each recipe in this book is delicious in its own right.

It's not just the flavors that make this book so special it is also the attention to detail that Richa puts into every one of her recipes. From the carefully crafted ingredient lists to the step by step instructions, it is clear that Richa is passionate about vegan cooking and wants to help her readers achieve success in the kitchen while trying out new dishes.

This cookbook by popular food blogger Richa Hingle is great in that it encompasses so many different cuisines: Indian, Chinese, American, Italian, and more. There are plenty of beautiful pictures for most recipes, which I always prefer in a cookbook. The vegetable lasagna in here also isn’t online — and it is stellar. My partner makes it with his own marinara sauce, but you could take a lot of time off the recipe by using a store-bought sauce, and I’m sure it would still be very good!

Most-returned-to recipes: Vegetable Lasagna, Black Pepper Cheesy Mac and Broccoli
