Maybe this just me but I don't like his friendship with this Cassie chick! Yes she's a good person and yes I know men can be friends with women but kissing said friend on the lips even if just a peck bothered me a lot. But that's not all.. Things have gotten out hands with them before so what's not to said that maybe someday they will again? One night they kissed and they got naked but nothing else happened. Supposedly because they didn't have any chemistry between them so decided to be besties.
He kissed her forehead and hugged her in front of the heroine. They looked like they were an item.
The hero might be nice and treats women with respect, he even pulls the women chairs.. First his bestie's chair and then just then his possible love interest (heroine)'s chair.. I mean yeah that's nice and all but shouldn't he had pull the chair of the woman that he liked first?
Sure, sure they both said they're like brother and sister but A brother and sister wouldn't have kissed and gotten naked and almost slept together. Even their friends and heroine think they look cute together.
And I guess he was a good hero and once he saw the heroine he only had eyes for her but during the whole book his friendship with the Cassie chick still bothered me.
After he had started a romantic relationship with the heroine he kept having "dates" with this Cassie chick, having dinner and watching movies in his apartment, I think that was just disrespectful to the heroine, how would he feel if the heroine has a male friend who she invites or have dates with in her apartment by herself?
“Just having breakfast with Cassie.”
A wave of unnecessary and irrational jealousy washed through me. “Oh, tell her I said, ‘hi."
I didn't agree how the heroine handle when she got scared because he couldn't attend the kid's graduation, I know the little boy was expecting the hero and was very hurt the hero couldn't go because he was swamped at work, I felt bad for the hero.. He really didn't deserve that she pushed him out of her son's life just because she was scared. I think she was more scared for her than her son's feelings.
I skimmed most of it and I didn't read if he ever told the heroine that he almost slept with this Cassie chick. She also played a hand on getting them back together and next book will be hers and this hero's brother. It's like they're swapping family here.

Luca...oh, Luca. I don't think I have ever read a more romantic, sweet, sexy, thoughtful and just absolutely perfect man than Luca Benedetto. So many feels with Scoring Mr. Romeo that I don't even know where to start. Swoony, sexy, sweet, angsty...just the perfect blend of everything made this a book I couldn't put down.

Gah, I have been dying for Luca's story in this fun, sexy, crazy series, and I am fully, totally, completely head over heels in love with Luca and Sabrina!
I knew it would take an extremely special woman to earn Luca's love and his heart, and Sabrina is perfect for him and so is her son, Mikey. Sabrina and Mikey have loved and lost before and it takes a strong man to put aside his own needs to make sure that his loves needs are met.
Oh, it's not all hearts and flowers and romantic dinners for Luca and Sabrina. Sabrina's dead husband put her through the wringer and she's tried to keep things positive for her son, but the lingering hurt and doubt sit under her skin, waiting for a moment of vulnerability to come rolling out.
I loved the blossoming romance between confirmed bachelor Luca and Sabrina. Love literally ran into him and he was hooked. Their love was slow, swoony and sexy. I loved how Luca loved Mikey as much as he adored Sabrina. Their interactions were absolutely adorable.
Scoring Mr. Romeo is a heart-warming blend of fun, sexy, swoony romance. It was sheer perfection. ~ Missy, 5 stars

Scoring Mr. Romeo is the third book in the series of standalones by author collab A.M Madden and Joanne Schewhm. And FML because this one is my FAVORITE OF ALL!
Luca Benedetto couldn't be happier for his best friends who are both crazy in love with their women. Though deep inside, he sometimes wishes he also has what they have. He has the money, the looks, but never had he found love. He knows what it is, though never really understood it until an adorable 5-year old boy and his mom walked into his life.
After going through a painful event in her life, single mom Sabrina Callahan has become passive about love. Her priority? Mikey, her very charming son. She was never looking for love but when her eyes landed on Italian hotness Luca Benedetto, she's not sure anymore.
Okay, let's get my rambling started, shall we?
A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm really this AH-MAZING on this one. I'M EFFIN SERIOUS! I loved the first two books prior to Scoring Mr. Romeo and even swore that I will marry Jude Soren one day but... Luca Benedetto turned out to be my man. In the first two books, he's definitely a support character. His calmness and loyalty makes him an intriguing character, yet not as memorable as Jude and Kyle. Now having his own book, Luca surprised me like CRAZY! Him being romantic was already mentioned in the other books but in this one, he went beyond that. This entire book made me want to get Luca out of it and jus tmake him mine! His sweet, so gentle, so good with a child... this is the character you'd fall in love with in a book and definitely in real life! Oh and please, don't underestimate how freakin' sexy he is just because he's a gentleman. You know what they say about the quiet ones... *wink*
Enough with he Hero now. Sabrina has become one of my favorite heroine EVER. She's a mix of honest, awkward, adorable, and sweet. A character built with a beautiful chaos which I believe is a very realistic "mom" quality. I love how she's sometimes insecure but embraces it. She lets go, but still chooses the right words to say. Plus her relationship with her son is just soooo heartwarming. And if you add Luca in the picture, that's beyond beautiful now.
This book is a no doubt 5 STAR read for me because it's very heart melting yet never lacking of sexiness ALL THE WAY! You'll just feel so good when reading it because damn, this is romance! Scoring Mr. Romeo's definitely written to just give your heart a break and feel real love again. I loved it HARD from cover to cover!
If you love genuine romance, with tiny adorable side characters, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one!!

Luca Is my favorite...I know I said that about Kyle...But Luca has stolen me away.
This is a love story that puts all other love stories to shame.
Confirmed bachelor Luca Benedetto never thought love was in the cards for him. UNTIL it literally slammed into him in the form of an adorable 5 year old little boy. Yes Mikey is adorable, but that is nothing compared to the true beauty that is his Mother Sabrina Callahan.
This book in my opinion is Joanne Schwhem and A.M Madden have written. The ladies really out did themselves.

Oh Luca!!!! I have been looking forward to Luca’s book and Ms. Madden and Ms. Schwehm did not disappoint!
Luca was first introduced in Finding Mr. Wrong (Jude’s book) and then again in Taming Mr. Flirt (Kyle’s book), I was so excited when I found out he was getting his own story.
He is a HOT Italian who, OMG! Is such a romantic!!!! Every girls dream guy!!! Sabrina is a single mom to an adorable little boy, who by the way helps his mom out 😉; but, Sabrina has been disillusioned with life and relationships.
Can Luca help her see life with new eyes or will she be too scared to take a chance? Go #oneclick Scoring Mr. Romeo....and of course #oneclick Finding Mr. Wrong and Taming Mr. Flirt.

This romance was fun, sexy and everything I look for in a romance book.
Luca, the uber hot, insanely sexy but he also has the soft squishy center that makes him absolutely irresistible. Add in how wonderful he is to a little boy in need of a father figure and you have a book that you can't put down.
It was easy to get behind Luca and Sabrina. From the moment they meet, Luca goes all in, but you had to wonder if Sabrina was going to be able to get behind that. It was fun watching Luca break down the walls Sabrina had built around her, while at the same building a relationship with her son. Sabrina didn't make things easy, especially when she made Luca pay for her previous relationship, but it as rewarding seeing her understand what was important to not only herself but also her son.
SCORING MR. ROMEO is an awesome read. As soon as I was done I immediately picked up the other books in the Mr. Wrong series. Definitely one of the top reads of 2018.

This is the third book in the Mr. Wrong series and it just keeps getting better, if that’s even possible! I was hooked from the first page and blew through it never wanting it to end! I loved the story of a single mom that was a widow finding love with a beautiful, sexy Italian man that loved her 5-year-old son first. He was so good with him. Not only was it a beautiful love story but it was funny!
This book! Luca is all that a book boyfriend could be and just what Sabrina needed! I don’t want to give anything away about the story as the synopsis does a great job of setting up the story. The reader should go in with the promise of a great feels, sigh inducing read and it certainly did that for me.
I highly recommend this romantic, great feels love story. I promise you will fall in love with the characters as much as I did, especially Luca! These authors outdid themselves with this one!

SCORE for Scoring Mr. Romeo by AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm…this has been my FAVE of the series so far (and I’ve like them ball!). Luca is just SO dreamy and Sabrina is someone I can relate to as a working mom.
Sabrina is a strong woman, widowed too young raising her son on her own. With the help of friends and family she does a great job balancing her work and home life. Sabrina is guarded but you can tell how much she needs adult conversation and connections. She keeps herself guarded, even with those close to her, all for good reasons though. When you find out what she has been through you will be shocked!
Sure, Luca had so many qualities that made him catch, but damn his romantic side could no doubt have me falling in love with him.
If you have read the previous standalone books in this series you will have already met Luca. I honestly was not sure what to expect in his book. Let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised!! This man…with his Italian accent he is sweet, romantic and genuine. He has a successful job that keeps him busy and I really loved how he also found a work/life balance once he met Sabrina. Shifting priorities while still “adulting” is hard!
…this was more than sex. It was as if our souls and heart merged as easily as our bodies had.
Luca and Sabrina seem to hit it off right from the funny (and messy) moment that they meet. This was one of those instant connections that was undeniable. Sabrina feels comfortable with Luca and easily opens up. Luca feels things he never has before and embraces it (instead of running away like some men would).
I have to warn you, there is another guy you will fall in love with in this story. His name is Mikey and he is the most adorable little boy! He has been through hell and back in his short life yet because of his amazing mom and now his “best friend” Luca he will steal your heart. This was a HUGE part of Luca and Sabrina’s story, it’s not just about them but about Mikey as well and everything blends so well with all of them.
This thing between us was new, yet it felt so familiar at the same time.
I definitely recommend this book to you all!!

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Luca Benedetto and Sabrina Callahan. Luca has been watching his two best friends fall in love and meet the one woman they are meant to be with. Luca however has not been so lucky yet. With his mom on his case to come back to Italy and find a good woman to live with there. His best friend Jude's wife Brea trying to hook him and Cassie up and his own desire to someday have what his friends have it is all a little much until he meets a woman who turns him upside down. Sabrina makes him feel like she is a woman made just for him. He wonders though will her hangups make it hard for her to believe he really wants her or will they allow him to be able to show her what a really man is like?
Sabrina isn't looking for a man she lost her last one a year ago and is still trying to get over some things that go with that. However one look at Luca and she is willing to consider giving this man a chance. However it is not just her that she needs to consider she has to think of her son Mikey. It seems though Mikey is really to take on this man without a second thought. Can she really open herself up to this man or will her past make opening up impossible?

Let’s just start by saying WOW. AnnMarie Madden & Joanne Schwehm are two fantastic writers but when the two come together to write a book let’s just say the words just wrap around your heart and give you all the right feels.

Sabrina is a single mom to one of the cutest little boys, working as a hairstylist and spending time with friends. She is trying to start over and when she meets Luca everything changes for her.
Luca is a Successful Single Guy, loves hanging out with his friends and never expected that one day his life would never really be the same.
Sabrina & Luca are fantastic together, the chemistry between them is off the charts, the banter that they have will have you laughing out loud and the overall feelings you see Luca has for Sabrina’s son will make your heart go to goo. WHAT!!?? What in the world did I just read and what in the world am I fixing to say!!??? Ok so I’m one of those that very rarely can decide which man I want in a series so I lay claim to them all.. I’m a book boyfriend wh*re and I don’t share!!! But I’m am claiming one in this series and it is Luca, Mr. Romeo himself!!!! Dear lord love a duck this book!!! Ok the first two were absolutely amazing but this one this one right here I don’t even have the words to properly describe how ridiculously perfect this book was!! And how some parts where like I was reading part of my life. I connected to this book so strongly that it had emotions coming back from years past and how lucky I was to find my Romeo. If you have a heart at all you will need some kleenex’s because there is some parts in this book that will pierce your heart and break it into a kazillion pieces. Bravo A.M. and Joanne I do believe this is your best work to date and I can’t wait to see what else you two give to us. If you guys read just one book this week,month or year I highly recommend this book!!!

First I have to say each book in this series gets better and better. I so love the co-writing from these two amazing writers. I am so in Love with Luca, he is sexy, smart and Italian, what more can I say. Well he never wanted to settle down but after seeing his two best friends fine their love ones , he was rethinking that. Sabrina was making a life for her and her little boy and all was good till a chance meeting with a Sex God at her son's school, Luca is about to turn her world upside down. This story is so, so good and little Mikey he is just to adorable. Get ready for Luca to romance your panties off.

Good lord Sabrina was an unfiltered one, the girl just kept putting her foot in her mouth, “you have great hair, by the way. The day we met I had to fight the urge to touch it.” Luca has no problem asking for what he wants, “I’m naked, you’re not, and I want you to be.” Luca is one possessive man, “the heck you won’t. I happen to like your *** in a sexy thong.” After one more squeeze, I added, “But thongs are for my eyes only, and these are good for when you have on insanely short skirts.” I loved this book, I fell in love with Luca.

Stories about single parents, I love them. I love to see how the parent finds new love, but also how the partner is with the kid(s). Scoring Mr. Romeo tells the story of single mom Sabrina and Luca, and cute Mikey. I love the three of them together!
Sabrina is a single mom to her young son Mikey, and isn’t looking for a new man in her life. She’s still dealing with the aftermath of her husband’s sudden death, and feels it’s too soon for her and Mikey to move on. Luca is your typical playboy; he’s serious about his work and friends, but not so much when it comes to woman. When Sabrina and Luca meet, there’s an instant attraction, but they try to hide behind Mikey. Sabrina thinks she and Mikey don’t need a guy in their lives, and Luca pretends he only interacts with Sabrina because she has such a cool kid. But, this is a romantic story, so you know what’s going to happen…
Scoring Mr. Romeo is my first book by author-duo A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm and I was pleasantly surprised. I like how they build the story, and how the characters are written. The story is told from a dual POV, so you know what both Sabrina and Luca are thinking, and why they react a certain way. Scoring Mr. Romeo is the third book in the ‘Mr. Wrong Series’, but I didn’t feel like I was missing background information. However, I’m curious for these books now…
Sabrina is a good mom to her kid, and what she has been through was horrible. I so get her hesitation towards Luca, to give into her feelings, she has been burned badly. Luca is a great guy who’s surprised about his reaction towards Sabrina and Mikey. Although he hasn’t been serious about a woman before, he quickly realizes she and her son are important to him. Scoring Mr. Romeo is a sweet book, there’s no added drama or over-the-top situations, just two people trying to make it work.

I absolutely fell in love with this book and with Luca! Oh, how that man made we swoon. Mr. Romeo was the PERFECT TITLE for this book….he’s Italian and an romantic at heart!!!!!
Luca is a romantic, and women find him irresistible. When he enters a room, all the females notice. However, he has never found love. No woman has ever made his heart flutter until Sabrina and her son, Mikey, enter his life. Sabrina is a single mother, working hard to be the best mother she can be. She lost her husband a year ago, only to discover his betrayal after his death. You might say romance is the last thing on her mind….until Luca.
Luca was entranced the moment he saw Sabrina when her son, Mikey, plastered his hands covered in finger paint on his pants, and then, he knew he was in trouble when a ball hit him right between the eyes….the culprit…no other than the cutie pie, Mikey. Here was a woman who made him feel things he never felt before , and he hadn’t even yet had a real conversation with her.
The romance between Luca and Sabrina was both sweet and sexy. I loved watching these two fall in love, and I, especially, loved watching Luca fall in love with Mikey. There is nothing sexier than a man who loves children. Luca was so patient with Sabrina, knowing her history.
My heart went out to Sabrina. I couldn’t get frustrated with her when she would get scared of the feelings she had for Luca. She had given her heart to someone before, and he crushed it. Not only does she have herself to protect, but she has a son to protect.
The was not just a love story between two people, but it was a love story between three people. Luca loved Mikey like he would a son, and Mikey adored Luca. It’s very rare that you get that in a romance. Mikey was a huge part of their story which made it more realistic.
One of the great things about the book was also the relationship between Luca and his friends, especially Cassie. This was one of my favorite things about the book. As it’s told from dual POVs, not only did I get an insight into who Luca and Sabrina were as people, but I got to see their relationship with their family and friends.
The icing on the cake is the epilogue….OMG!!!! This fantastic duo of writers set us up perfectly for the next book which will be Cassie’s. This is one I don’t want to miss!!!

Scoring Mr. Romeo is a pure and utter swoon-fest, Luca is guaranteed to make your heart pitter-patter.
With their friends falling like flies and desperately trying to pair off their remaining single friends, Luca and Cassie form an alliance and strong friendship even though their friends may wish for more between them there is no spark. However, it is through his friendship with Cassie and a few comical incidents that Luca crosses paths with Sabrina and her adorable son, Mikey.
Sabrina is an amazing mother with a strong family support system behind her, a widow at a young age, although there are a few hints that her marriage was not all it seemed leaving Sabrina with a host of insecurities and emotional barriers not least is the effect a new relationship would have on her son.
Luca is the whole package, I adored the way in which he easily accepts his feelings and sets out to prove he is a sure bet to Sabrina. His sole focus is on proving that there are good men out there and he intends to worship Sabrina in such a way that there will be no doubts as to his place in her and Mikey’s lives. However, not everything is plain sailing especially considering Sabrina’s over-reactions where her emotions are concerned (something I am sure we can all identify with as women and mothers).
Thankfully, there is very little angst within Scoring Mr. Romeo and a whole host of passion and enchantment.
All of the previous characters make an appearance in Scoring Mr. Romeo adding to the connection to the story as a whole and progressing each of their relationships along the way. The authors have added a clever twist within Scoring Mr. Romeo to lay the foundation for a new story featuring our wonderful remaining singleton, Cassie, I cannot wait to see the sparks fly in Craving Mr. Kinky.

All of the previous characters make an appearance in Scoring Mr. Romeo adding to the connection to the story as a whole and progressing each of their relationships along the way. The authors have added a clever twist within Scoring Mr. Romeo to lay the foundation for a new story featuring our wonderful remaining singleton, Cassie, I cannot wait to see the sparks fly in Craving Mr. Kinky.

I FLOVE THIS BOOK SOOOO HARD. I mean, do men like Luca exist IRL? My ovaries were busting, my toes were curling, I was buzzing from head to toe from Luca's charm, dedication, thoughtfulness, and charisma. I don't think there has ever been an alpha quite like him: family orientated, and so utterly romantic. It just oooozes from his bones in the most sincere way.
This is the first book in the series I've read by A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm. This dynamic duo knows how to do romance right!!!! I'll admit, I was a happy little cover whore when I saw Scoring Mr. Romeo (ok, I had to wipe the drool away), I didn't care what the book was about. But I will tell you, the cover is nothing in comparison to the words inside. This story had my heart melting!!!
Luca Benedetto, the Italian stallion, wasn't looking for love, but love certainly knocked him upside the head in the form of a 5year old and a soccer ball. Single mom, Sabrina, and her adorable son Mikey, latched on to my heart and never let go. As a family unit, they are making the best of a heartbreaking situation. When Mikey meets Luca, he's found his new "best friend", gahhh it's the sweetest thing!
It's nice to read a story that's not built around insta-love, Luca + Sabrina build a solid foundation through a complicated romance. But romance is Luca's middle name, and soon we're all swept off our feet from his kind heart and attentiveness. Scoring Mr. Romeo is EVERY ROMANCE READER'S DREAM COME TRUE!!! Luca is the book boyfriend I've been waiting for. This is definitely a MUST READ!

Luca Benedetto is the definition of swoonworthy. Add in an adorable five year old boy, his incredible single mother, and enough romance to satisfy even the most jaded reader and Scoring Mr. Romeo is a winner! The way Luca pursued Sabrina was the stuff of my dreams, but my favorite part was his relationship with Mikey. It made my heart swell and my eyes tear up - it was truly the star of the book for me. This dynamic duo of authors did a FANTASTIC job of reminding me that there is more to romance than dirty talk, foreplay, and sex (though those certainly have a place in the mix) - it's also sweetness, kindness, consistency, and persistence. I can't even tell you how much I enjoyed this book - the pair will now be on my auto-buy list and I HAVE to read Finding Mr. Wrong and Taming Mr. Flirt in order to really meet the lucky (fictional) men that are able to count Luca as their friend. 5 out of 5 wine glasses.

AM Madden and Joanne Schwehm have written a sweet, romantic story that you will love!
Luca is a doll. He’s sweet and romantic and you fall in love with him. Sabrina is a single mother who wants to protect her heart as well as her son, Mikey’s. I loved watching their relationship grow. And Mikey is absolutely adorable. Luca was so good with him and it made me swoon over him even more.
I loved this story. Because it’s nice to see a guy that’s very sweet. And also because AM and Joanne write seamlessly. I have no idea who wrote what parts of the book. That’s a sign of talented writers.
Scoring Mr. Romeo is a must read. Go one click!

Without a doubt, Luca knows how to bring on the romance! I started reading again for the romance and these ladies, A.M. Madden and Joanne Schwehm, have scored the pot of gold with this one. Luca & Sabrina have had two chance encounters so far, will a third time be the charm? Sabrina has all the excuses- a son, secrets, responsibilities....but doesn't everyone deserve a chance at happiness? Luca wasn't looking for love but sometimes it's not your choice who your heart wants to love. I am in love with this story from two of my favorite ladies. It will cause you to experience all the feels - love, laughter, tears. It will bring so much joy and the escape that we all crave. I will be reading this one over and over again.
