Nick and Lisa are so hot together!!!!
This was the first book by this author that I read, so I didn't know what to expect. Let me tell you, I absolutely loved it. The story just flowed so smoothly and I couldn't put it down. I loved Lisa and Nick's journey, I'm routing for them. This book is a must read, get your copy today.

I read both books in this series and absolutley love them! These books take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. I didn't know who I was routing for from one minute to the next! And talk about hot! Wow!! These guys will definitely make you need to change your pantys if you know what I mean!! You get your hero and your bad boy all in one! With tons of suspense thrown in. Love, love, LOVE these books! I couldn't put them down. Not a single boring chapter from beginning to end! I hope there will be a 3rd book soon Roxy Love!! I highly recommend!

This is one of those stories where the bad guys are so well written that you are afraid of them when they step into a scene. They drive the plot forward and the protagonists keep that momentum with chemistry and a hint of comedy that keeps it REAL.
Lisa: A+ for Lisa's well rounded, developed, multi-level, evolving character! There is an art to writing a protagonist that grows. It has to be subtle, yet visible changes that happen due to strategically placed obstacles and this story is all the above!
I feel like the evolution of Lisa is believable and motivational. She overcomes things with grace but she has beautiful flaws like well deserved fears and a deep apprehension. I never felt like screaming "stupid female lead!" She uses her head and her intellect becomes her tool.
Tony: A+ for Tony. This was a well written villain. I love watching the breakdown of a person that's "face value good" and thrown into tough situations that make them into something that might have been below the surface. He is a monster and frightening because he is more like 'two people' not 'one' bad guy. This takes skill to write.
Somehow at his worst you want him dead and at his lowest you can't help but almost feel for him. I LOVE THIS IN A BOOK! Make me think, make me feel complicated, make me question myself! That's how I begin to understand the people I am reading!
Nick: A+ then another A+ for the kinky cop sex. Let's see if I can talk about him in a non-sexual light first...

I love these qualities and he had them. His ability to make ME the reader giggle and blush was fantastic! His backstory offers him depth and his nobility as a cop is so well upheld!
Then there was the bod.... make sure you have alone time while you read this lol
Plus, this might sound crazy but the scenery was AMAZING in my head! Just enough detail to help me see it, not enough to make me snore! I lived in a beach house this week that began to feel like my own getaway.
Anyway this book does end with cliffy, yes that is evil on the Author's part but MAN DOES IT FIT!!!!! I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!!
Five serious and happily given stars!!!!

Roxy Love delivers big feels with this book. Lisa is trying to escape from her old life that once held the promise of a happily ever after but had quickly turned into a nightmare. She doesn’t plan on ever letting another man get close enough to hurt her again. She also didn’t plan on Nick and his persistent sweetness.
Roxy takes a story that could, and does, trigger strong negative emotions and weaves it into a happy, loving story of hope, loyalty and happiness. Be prepared though...this book ends with a cliffhanger. I actually cussed Roxy out loud when I hit the end. To help prevent a similar reaction...buy them both at the same time.

Overall a great book with great plot,but the author’s writing expression isn’t that great. It has quite a few grammatical mistakes, along with some cringy dialogue.
Plot: 4.5 stars(very interesting plot)

Such a quick intriguing read! I’m excited to see where this story’s going!! I am loving Nick and Lisa’s friendship.
