A second collection of twelve short, scary stories covering topics from the horror/dark urban fantasy genres. Styles range from the bizarre through darkly humorous to distinctly nasty, with topics ranging from serial killers to vampires.
Hi! I'm Trevor, an Englishman now living in Edinburgh. My writing tends to be horror/dark urban fantasy/general weirdness; sometimes it's difficult to tell those three apart.
In terms of style, I don't do a lot of splattery blood and gore unless it's absolutely necessary to the story. Quite a few of my stories display a rather dark – some would say warped – sense of humour.
This was a good collection of horror and weird stories! It was almost like stepping into the Twilight Zone while reading them. My favorites out the collection was Bad Hair Day, Contact, and Sweet Dreams. At the end of the book, I like how the author, Trevor Mendham, explained what each story meant and why he wrote the stories. Giving the book four stars.
