We had computers though the internet was limited to what Satan felt we needed to know… Fashion was easy to keep up with as the new residents came fully dressed and I gained an envied designer wardrobe from the many rich wives who’d killed their cheating husbands. That’s how my love of Louboutins had started.
Well, I thought he couldn’t shock me any more than the day he brutally murdered me, but it seems he’s doing his dang best to try. No one wants to hear their child shouting about how much they love pussy unless there’s a family pet.
I need to see this neighbour if he looks like Jason Momoa. Do we need any sugar?
My Review:
After escaping hell, the transition from demon back to human wasn’t going smoothly for the disgruntled and exasperated Lucy Fir, she still had 2 small horns (hidden by colorful headbands) and was prone to spark flames from her fingertips when riled, which proved hazardous to an annoyingly flatulent roommate. Kim, the supernatural dating specialist wasn’t fairing much better despite having access to and taking creative liberties with, the large dating database. I always enjoy Andie M. Long’s sly humor and creative imagination (naming a demon Lucy Fir – come on - say it aloud if you need to). Yet I was a bit out of sorts with this installment, as I didn’t find the characters as endearing or engaging as I had with Shelly and Theo from the first in the series, although I was warming to them by the end of the tale. Multiple species presented unique concerns and received cameo appearances - angels, demons, vampires, werewolves and werecats, witches, mere people, pixies, fairies, seers, brownies, Satan (of course), and even an incubus, all clearly living among us oblivious humans. I particularly enjoyed Lucy’s spectacular dating failures with my favorite being the new angel who could not fold his wings close enough to fit through a door - smirk - brilliant.

So many colorful characters : vamps, demons, she-devil, witches, seers, werewolves, ghost...you name it
They are all intertwined and interconnected in their search of love, like any common human😊 in this remarkably entertaining, funny, interesting and refreshing fantasy mash-up!
I totally dig Andie M Long's writing, and humor, especially humor, it's original, smart and witty...and I had a blast😉

I’m loving this series on Audiobook. I started reading this on Kindle Unlimited but was lucky to be given an Audio copy. One thing I’ve learnt is a joke can be missed in a book if you don’t read it right. Angela Doll can now read all my stories.
This is a continuous story. It probably can be read as a standalone but I would not recommend it. Lucy is free from the devil but her hellish power still lingers. As she is adjusting to life back on earth she is searching for humanity. She wants to trade her horns for love. The supernatural dating agency sounds like a good place to start.
Dates, disasters and an over-friendly cat might just help her find what she’s looking for.
Meanwhile, Kim has her own problems. Now Shelley is trying to make her own little ones Kim is left to run the dating agency. The only thing is she has a vampire shadow. Her ex is cramping her style and the sexy werewolf she has her eye on wants a date. Kim can’t glitch her computer anymore but if she wants to date him the vamp must go.
I really enjoyed this book. The whole series is on Kindle Unlimited and I will be definitely reading some more. Imagine a world where mundane problems are just the start. The fire when your angry is the real threat. It’s fun, sassy and mythical. Fabulous.

Ben bunun ilk kitabını okumuştum ve o zaman da demiştim daha geniş yazsa, daha detaylandırsa tadından yenmez bir şeyler çıkacak ortaya ama kısacık kitaba her şeyi tıkıştırıyor kadın insan anlayamıyor bile ne olduğunu. Öyle olmasa hakikaten güzel konsept.

Çooook kısa olduğu için hızlandırılmış şekilde her şeyi okumasak iyiydi. Ama anlatılanların ayrısının açıklaması olmadığından kafam çok karıştı. Ama bu böyle kitap değil de mini-dizi falan olsa var ya ölümüne izlerim yani o kadar eğlenceli.

Il primo libro della serie era davvero divertente, pieno di battutine e di siparietti molto simpatici tra i due protagonisti. Qui invece non si capisce neanche chi siano i protagonisti, mi è sembrato più un libro per congiungersi al terzo che vedrà protagonista Kim.
Lucy e Frankie fanno da contorno, nelle ultimi pagine ci scappa un ti amo tra i due, così ad minchiam. Nessuna spiegazione su quali siano i motivi per cui si amano, boh.
Se poi non si è letto il primo, si fa fatica a capirci qualcosa.
2 stelline, e sono buona.

A Devil of a Date by Andie M Long a five-star read that will set you alight. This is the second book in the supernatural dating series and what a series, you will be chuckling and having a screaming match with the book all the way through as its an emotional and funny and will keep you on your toes. If you asked me in public I would deny this, but I may have even snorted a couple of times with this book it was so funny!! Kim is by far my favourite character, she's a little crazy in a good way and that makes her all right in my book. The situation with her newly deceased ex made me chuckle more than once, and her reasoning for not wanting to date the wolf as he has better hair than she does I totally get that, its why I like bald men!! But the Devil in this story is Lucy Fir, we follow her journey as she tries to find love to become more human less devil, as she no longer guards the gates of hell, she wants a life with more romance and less torturing. Can Kim find her the right man? or will it all end up in flames!! I'm a huge fan of the author so I may be biased but this is shaping up to be one of the best series I will read this year, and its only January that's how good it is. It has a bit of everything in it. You need this series and this author in your life!!

Diciamo subito che questi esseri soprannaturali nascosti fra gli umani mi piacciono tantissimo, in questo libro, che riprende i personaggi del primo volume, conosciamo meglio Lucy Fir, amante spassionata delle Louboutin, ex direttrice dell’inferno che è stata liberata dopo 27 anni dal suo rapimento.
Lucy è in una fase di transizione e si ritrova nella stessa città dov’è stata rapita ma tutto le sembra diverso perché, nonostante lei sia uguale, sono passati molti anni e il mondo intorno a lei si è evoluto. Inizia così una fase di adattamento in cui perderà spesso la pazienza e darà letteralmente fuoco a quello che le sta vicino, vorrei anch’io incenerire le cose che mi danno sui nervi!
Cercare di tornare umana implica molti ostacoli, soprattutto se nei due decenni appena trascorsi non hai fatto altro che torturare le anime dannate; la nostra protagonista scoprirà però che gli amici sono fondamentali per essere felici e avere gente attorno che tiene a te è la cosa più bella che ci sia. Lucy sa che per velocizzare la transizione è fondamentale innamorarsi; così si rivolge all’agenzia più famosa di Withernsea, sperando che Kim le dia l’aiuto che le serve. Vedremo molti appuntamenti che ci faranno dire “allora non è successo solo a me’’ e alcune scene sono da sbellicarsi dal ridere, questi soprannaturali ci assomigliano un sacco.
Una scrittura piacevole e mai noiosa, nonostante all’inizio sia abbastanza faticoso stare al passo se non si ha letto il primo volume della serie, che ci racconta la storia fra Shelley e Theo e che ci accompagna in un mondo dove licantropi, vampiri, succubi e perfino Satana in persona sono in mezzo a noi e cercano l’amore proprio come gli umani. I capitoli si alternano raccontando in prima persona i pensieri e le avventure di Lucy e Kim, innamorata di Darius, un Licantropo alfa che si oppone con tutte le sue forze ad avere una relazione. Kim viene pedinata da Frankie, un mago trasformato in vampiro dopo essere stato incenerito da Satana nel primo libro e che si trova durante la transazione ad avere un attaccamento morboso a quest’ultima, sua ex fidanzata prima di morire.
Un mix di intrecci che vi terranno attaccati al romanzo con il fiato sospeso e vi lasceranno con una nota di tristezza quando finiranno le pagine, perché ho scoperto che non vedo l’ora di capire cosa accadrà ai nostri personaggi nella prossima storia.
Il libro ha un tono leggero e divertente, che non sfocia mai in un’eccessivo romanticismo mantenendo il tono piacevole soprattutto se non si cerca un romanzo con i drammi tipici delle storie d’amore strappalacrime.
Sinceramente vi consiglio di leggerlo, dopo tanti lascia e riprendi una storia con una strada definita è stato proprio quello che ci voleva, quindi, aspetto il terzo volume con ansia.

Per essere una storia d'amore è sorprendente il tempo in cui i due protagonisti non interagiscono tra loro. Inoltre, è sorprendente anche il fatto che il titolo lasci intendere la presenza di un demone come protagonista, mentre in realtà Lucy ormai è per metà umana praticamente e alla fine .
Lo sviluppo del loro rapporto è abbastanza affrettato, così come tutta la trama che non riguarda la loro storia, che sembra addirittura essere principale alla relazione d'amore che si forma nel romanzo.
Resta comunque una lettura leggera e piacevole, solo parecchio lontana dalla perfezione.

Review Party – Appuntamento con il diavolo di Andie M. Long Young, 2° romanzo fantasy autoconclusivo della serie “Supernatural Dating Agency”, pubblicato il 28 giugno 2020, dalla Queen Edizioni.
Smeraldine, sono ritornate le allegre “comari” dell’agenzia di incontri più matta di sempre e, anche questa volta, non deluderanno. Vi ricordate le vicissitudini del libro precedente? Tutti i casini combinati da Shelley e dal suo maritino vampiro? Ebbene, non è finita lì, ora l’agenzia è nelle mani di quella matta di Kim, sì proprio quella che era l’assistente e migliore amica di Shelley, la folle che inventava scuse su scuse per giustificare i suoi ritardi, che andava a letto con un lupacchiotto e che riusciva a combinare casini senza metterci nemmeno un pochino di impegno. Ora che Shelley è impegnata a procreare visto che dopo centosette anni è arrivato il periodo fertile del maritino, l’agenzia è completamente nelle mani di Kim che, in astinenza totale, dovuta ad un ex che proprio non vuole andarsene, decide di mettere una clausola nei contratti dell’agenzia per “testare” in anteprima i possibili aspiranti cercatori di mogli. Pensate sia finita qui vero? Che la protagonista di questa storia fosse solo Kim e un suo probabile nuovo compagno? Eh, no, no, no! Ad affiancarla in questo libro divertentissimo c’è anche Lucy, la guardiana dell’inferno, che per abbondonare il suo vecchio lavoro aveva fatto un patto con il diavolo. Un patto andato a monte e che l’ha riportata a vivere sulla terra con un bel paio di corna, che è costretta a nascondere sotto grosse fasce per capelli e la capacità di scatenare incendi più o meno grossi, quando perde la pazienza e il suo lato demoniaco ritorna in superfice. Ora, L’unico modo per porre rimedio a tutta questa situazione e non mandare in fumo l’intera cittadina di Wintersea, è riappropriarsi del suo lato umano. Così, dopo settimane trascorse a capire come sono cambiate le cose sulla terra negli ultimi ventisei anni, affidandosi alla visione di serie televisive, talk show e sit-com, Lucy è pronta a ritornare a farvi parte in tutto il suo splendore e tacchi Louboutin. Quale pensiate che sia il modo migliore per perdere quei due cornetti che le brillano in testa ogni volta che dice una parolaccia? Ovvio, trovare un uomo, innamorarsene ed essere felice e contenta! Semplice, facile e pulito. Pertanto, potete facilmente immaginare chi sarà la prossima cliente di Kim e, da questo momento in poi, sarà una risata continua tra scene paradossali, dialoghi folli e appuntamenti con personaggi discutibili al limite della follia, sia umana che soprannaturale. Il tutto accompagnato dal fardello di Kim: il suo ex che, non avendo del tutto accettato la sua trasformazione in vampiro, le sta attaccato ventiquattro ore al giorno come un’ameba.
Anche questa volta ho riso tantissimo, perché la storia continua ad avere, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, le caratteristiche di una sit-com dove, pur essendoci un messaggio di amore e giustizia, lo scopo fondamentale è quello di divertire il lettore stupendolo con dialoghi brillanti, personaggi divertenti e un mondo pieno di sovrannaturali che non vedrete l’ora di conoscere meglio. Anche in questo secondo episodio la parte romantica è messa un po’ in disparte a favore delle vicissitudini magiche e rocambolesche di tutta l’allegra brigata di Wintersea, anche se l’autrice, ci fa capire che a volte l’amore che tanto cerchiamo è davanti ai nostri occhi ma noi siamo troppo ciechi per vederlo. Vi consiglierei questo libricino di poche pagine, che si legge in una manciata di ore senza mai smettere di ridere? Sì, assolutamente, anche il cervello ha bisogno di andare a riposo ogni tanto e dare spazio al puro e sano divertimento. Non vi aspettate introspezione, né amori disperati ma un gruppo di folli che cerca di districarsi da tutto quello che li circonda e trovare la persona giusta con cui affrontare quello che angeli, demoni e quanto altro hanno in serbo per loro. La storia continua e io sono curiosa di leggere ancora di tutti loro.

Ora, L’unico modo per porre rimedio a tutta questa situazione e non mandare in fumo l’intera cittadina di Wintersea, è riappropriarsi del suo lato umano. Così, dopo settimane trascorse a capire come sono cambiate le cose sulla terra negli ultimi ventisei anni, affidandosi alla visione di serie televisive, talk show e sit-com, Lucy è pronta a ritornare a farvi parte in tutto il suo splendore e tacchi Louboutin. Quale pensiate che sia il modo migliore per perdere quei due cornetti che le brillano in testa ogni volta che dice una parolaccia? Ovvio, trovare un uomo, innamorarsene ed essere felice e contenta! Semplice, facile e pulito. Pertanto, potete facilmente immaginare chi sarà la prossima cliente di Kim e, da questo momento in poi, sarà una risata continua tra scene paradossali, dialoghi folli e appuntamenti con personaggi discutibili al limite della follia, sia umana che soprannaturale. Il tutto accompagnato dal fardello di Kim: il suo ex che, non avendo del tutto accettato la sua trasformazione in vampiro, le sta attaccato ventiquattro ore al giorno come un’ameba.
Anche questa volta ho riso tantissimo, perché la storia continua ad avere, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, le caratteristiche di una sit-com dove, pur essendoci un messaggio di amore e giustizia, lo scopo fondamentale è quello di divertire il lettore stupendolo con dialoghi brillanti, personaggi divertenti e un mondo pieno di sovrannaturali che non vedrete l’ora di conoscere meglio. Anche in questo secondo episodio la parte romantica è messa un po’ in disparte a favore delle vicissitudini magiche e rocambolesche di tutta l’allegra brigata di Wintersea, anche se l’autrice, ci fa capire che a volte l’amore che tanto cerchiamo è davanti ai nostri occhi ma noi siamo troppo ciechi per vederlo. Vi consiglierei questo libricino di poche pagine, che si legge in una manciata di ore senza mai smettere di ridere? Sì, assolutamente, anche il cervello ha bisogno di andare a riposo ogni tanto e dare spazio al puro e sano divertimento. Non vi aspettate introspezione, né amori disperati ma un gruppo di folli che cerca di districarsi da tutto quello che li circonda e trovare la persona giusta con cui affrontare quello che angeli, demoni e quanto altro hanno in serbo per loro. La storia continua e io sono curiosa di leggere ancora di tutti loro.

E poi vogliamo parlare di quel gran pezzo di lupo e poliziotto Darius? Chissà cosa succederà tra loro... ci toccherà aspettare il terzo volume per saperlo, io non vedo l'ora!
Anche questo romanzo mi è piaciuto, l'ho letto in pochissimo tempo, la storia ti prende fino alla fine con il suo humor. Mi è piaciuto che l'autrice abbia scritto maggiormente su Lucy... Una bellissima storia da leggere sotto un ombrellone, abbracciati dal caldo del sole.

Un deuxième opus que j’ai attendu et maintenant, je veux impatiemment la suite. Je suis frustrée, sachez-le.
Dans cet opus, nous retrouvons Lucy et Kim. Si l’une est à la recherche de l’amour, l’autre le fuit. Lucy ne veut pas être de nouveau démoniaque et elle se met en tête de trouver un petit ami pour l’aider. Kim doit gérer un ex petit copain collant et ne veut pas accepter les inepties d’Ebony sur une histoire d’amour avec le Loup.
On alterne entre les deux points de vue et nous retrouvons toute la bande. L’humour est toujours au centre de ce texte, mais il y a aussi beaucoup plus d’émotions, de douceur. Que ce soit avec Frankie qui a du mal à gérer sa nouvelle condition. Lucy qui apprend à redevenir humaine. Kim et sa peur de l’engagement. Je ne l’avais pas vu venir et j’ai trouvé ce tome plus fort.
C’est avec plaisir que l’on retrouve Shelley et Theo qui profite d’une semaine pour faire des bébés au grand désarroi de la maman de celui-ci. Mais aussi de rencontrer Maisie, les lutins et Satan. Si je devais être franche, c’est surtout Darius qui m’a manqué. Je pensais vraiment qu’il sera plus présent, mais il faudra attendre le tome 3, et la relation entre le loup et l’humaine ne sera pas de tout repos.
Deux romances pour le prix d’une, même si une seule se concrétise. Le retour de Satan a gérer. De nouveaux pouvoirs à dompter. La vie de notre équipe de choc ne sera pas de tout repos. Une bonne lecture qui me laisse sur ma faim puisque je voulais vraiment connaître l’histoire de Darius. Mais ainsi, j’ai hâte de poursuivre l’aventure.
Je vous recommande encore une fois cette saga drôle et décalé qui plaira à beaucoup d’entre vous.

Welcome to Withernsea and the Supernatural Dating Agency... the continuing saga of life and trying to find true love in this small town where humans are are able to mingle with and date supernatural beings. Lots of humour throughout, I found this romantic journey quite endearing as Kim tries to navigate through her own love life while trying to set up Lucy Fir, a former demon who has returned to earth as a human as well as her ex Frankie, who has now been turned into a vampire with a few technical difficulties.
Theo and Shelley are back as well as Satan himself. This is a great paranormal novella that will leave you laughing at the end and wanting to know more about this intruiging town. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and this is my honest review.

The town of Withernsea just got more interesting as Frankie tries to adjust to life as a vampire and Lucy is becoming more human. Meanwhile Kim is avoiding the attraction she has with Darius, the werewolf cop. And Shelley and Theo are taking advantage of his baby making time clock, while his mother's ghost lives with them. It takes off directly from the first one, read it first so you understand the predicament the characters are in. Being a matchmaker for supernatural beings isn't as simple as they planned but it is funny. The British humor, phrases and words are different but not difficult to follow. The series is lighthearted comedy with sexy-isms and snarky characters. I received an advanced copy from the author.

A Devil Of A Date is another great read by Andie M. Long. This is the second book in the Supernatural Dating Agency series and it's just as great as the first one. Full of humor, drama, suspense and an amazing cast of characters. Loved going on Lucy's journey to find love and Kim's reluctance to see her own destiny. I highly recommend this series to everyone looking for an fun entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is part 2 of this series and the second one I have experienced in audio format, the narrator is fantastic portraying the range of characters and emotions thoroughly and expressing with passion.
I loved revisiting Theo and Shelley but also learning about some of the other characters and their quests for love within using the agency. Definitely never a dull moment around with a lot of laughter.
Great series and cant wait for the next.

I say it every time and I'm going to say it again. Andie truly is the queen when it comes to writing comedy!!

I loved the first book in this series and I loved this one too. Andie M Long had me once again in fits of laughter from the very first page.
This one focuses more on Kim, Lucy and Frankie. I just can't decide who is my favourite between Kim and Lucy, I didn't like Lucy before but she has totally redeemed herself in this instalment. Frankie, oh poor Frankie! He has some... let's say issues in this book after being turned into a Vamp in the end of the first book.

Je remercie Maïwenn ainsi que la maison d'éditions Juno Publishing pour cette nouvelle lecture dans le cadre de notre partenariat.
Le premier tome était sympa, j'ai donc voulu connaître la suite de cette agence matrimoniale particulière pour humains et surnaturels. Avec Shelley nous touchions le côté surnaturel indubitablement avec Théo devenu son mari, vampire depuis pas mal de temps. Et Shelley, eh bien je ne vendrais pas sa particularité, mais dans ce tome, nous en apprenons beaucoup sur son changement et ce à quoi elle ressemble réellement. Mais passons ces détails qui ne sont pas sans importance et retournons à ce récit. Le livre est aux voix de Kim, la nouvelle "responsable" de l'Agence, pendant que Shelley s'occupe à faire des rejetons avec son mari et celle de Lucy, jeune femme de plus de cinquante ans qui a la beauté physique d'une moins de trente ans tout ça parce qu'elle a vécu longtemps en Enfer. Et ça, Satan est dégoutée de l'avoir perdu qu'il la "poursuit" de ses assiduités, version fouet : "Si tu ne viens pas à moi, je bute tout le monde" Et dire que ce n'est même pas pour ses charmes, mais pour ses qualités de tortures. On ne se refait plus !
Coté Kim elle sait qu'elle devrait avoir une vie amoureuse voire plus avec THE big nounours, ou plutôt un beau loup du prénom de Darius, mais elle ne le veut pas. Pas qu'il soit moche, repoussant ou autre, c'est juste que Kim est humaine et elle a peur de ce qu'elle pourrait ressentir pour une autre personne. Les sentiments ne sont pas pour elle et si elle veut s'amuser, elle ne veut pas s'attacher et va tout faire pour trouver une femme n'importe laquelle pour Darius. Afin d'éviter cette attirance inéluctable. Et puis de toute façon, Frankie la colle depuis sa nouvelle condition et il ne compte pas la lâcher de sitôt. Lui c'est un cas à part et cela complique pas mal de choses dans la vie de Frankie bien sur, puisque c'est la sienne, mais aussi de Kim, de Shelley, de Lucy, bien que pour cette dernière elle va réussir à avoir un toit sur la tête. Il ne faut pas oublier Théo qui doit comprendre cette nouvelle nature.
Coté Lucy, elle veut tomber amoureuse et de n'importe quel homme, point final ! Elle ne veut plus retourner en Enfer, même si elle a adoré son travail et manier le fouet, mais il faut bien comprendre qu'à force le bras fatigue. Enfin tout ça pour dire qu'elle acceptera n'importe quel homme qui ne prononcera pas le nom de Dieu ou qui ne sera pas un ange, ou un lutin, quoique cette dernière option, nous voyons ce que cela donne et non, définitivement non. Lucy est toujours douée pour le sarcasme, les piques et le feu, car Satan ne lui a pas pris ce dernier petit pouvoir. Il espère toujours qu'elle fera le moindre faux pas pour revenir dans ses bonnes grâces.
Kim et Lucy vont devoir travailler de concert pour trouver celui qu'il faut à Lucy et tenter de repousser Darius. L'Agence n'est pas en danger, enfin pas dans le sens où il pourrait y avoir un petit incendie ou un vampire assoiffé qui fonce vers une de ses proies ou encore un peu trop de rangement à faire. Non, l'Agence est plutôt en danger parce que Kim n'a pas fait son boulot correctement durant 2 mois avec Darius et à force de le rembourser parce qu'il y a des soucis informatique, cela sent mauvais pour les affaires. Bref tout cela pour dire que Kim est au plus mal et qu'elle doit gérer beaucoup de choses depuis qu'elle doit s'occuper de sa partie de l'entreprise. Avec Lucy, elles vont trouver de quoi s'amuser et se mordre les doigts. Les relations entre tous les personnages cités précédemment se renforcent. L'amitié est fort entre eux tous, même avec Lucy qui semblait perdue au début.
La situation se corse lorsque les hommes de l'histoire deviennent fous, en manque de sang, de sexe, de pouvoirs, ou rempli de désillusions. Il ne faut pas oublier les femmes qui veulent des choses, tout en ne les voulant pas. Logique ! Les aléas de la vie de chacun s'emmêlent allégrement. Il y a une scène où c'était véritablement de la folie, avec ce triple rendez-vous où tout le monde avait envie d'être ailleurs. C'est de la pure folie, je le redis, mais je n'ai pas d'autres mots pour ce passage qui est au summum du récit. Il faut bien avouer que le livre est rempli d'humour en tout genre. Difficile de ne pas avoir le sourire durant une très grande partie de l'histoire. Que ce soit les personnages ou les situations il y a toujours un truc qui donne le sourire. Et puis le cas Frankie a beau être pathétique, il est un personnage a double facette et lorsqu'il prend enfin la pleine conscience de ce qu'il est, il fait plaisir à voir.
Le cas Lucy semble plutôt bien se remettre de tout ce qu'elle a vécu et ce grâce à ces personnages qui gravitent autour d'elle. Magie ou non, ils sont ce qu'ils sont avec leurs défauts adorables et leurs qualités détestables. Les horaires ne vont plus pour personne, ce serait peut-être bien que certains deviennent des vampires, pas vrai ? Dans tous les cas, Kim va avoir du fil à retordre, déjà que le fait de repousser franchement Darius semble porter sur les nerfs des deux et cela devient intolérable. Attention lorsqu'un loup n'est pas contente, les répercussions risquent d'être plus importantes que l'on ne croit, mais cela nous ne le savons pas encore. Peut-être dans le prochain ? Je l'espère en tout cas. La plume est toujours aussi vive et pleine d'humour. Les joutes verbales ne manquent pas et la pitié pour certains personnages, tel ce Todd donne incontestablement le sourire. Et ces histoires de fées mangeuses de crème, alors là je crois bien que c'est la première fois que j'en entends parler.
En conclusion, une nouvelle histoire où nous suivons Shelley et Théo dans leur nouvelle vie, où Kim ne fait rien comme il faut, où Lucy veut perdre ses cornes et aimer, où Frankie est à mourir de rire et enfin où Satan nous avait appris à être mieux que pathétique. La multitude d’événements nous emmène à leurs côtés dans un esprit totalement fou. Tiens, j'ai oublié la voyante qui boit tellement qu'elle lit forcément dans les fonds de bouteille ses prédictions, qui sont toujours trop justes ! Pas de prise de tête, mais plutôt une histoire qui sait redonner le sourire ! Un deuxième tome que j'ai préféré au premier.

Et puis le cas Frankie a beau être pathétique, il est un personnage a double facette et lorsqu'il prend enfin la pleine conscience de ce qu'il est, il fait plaisir à voir.
Le cas Lucy semble plutôt bien se remettre de tout ce qu'elle a vécu et ce grâce à ces personnages qui gravitent autour d'elle. Magie ou non, ils sont ce qu'ils sont avec leurs défauts adorables et leurs qualités détestables. Les horaires ne vont plus pour personne, ce serait peut-être bien que certains deviennent des vampires, pas vrai ? Dans tous les cas, Kim va avoir du fil à retordre, déjà que le fait de repousser franchement Darius semble porter sur les nerfs des deux et cela devient intolérable. Attention lorsqu'un loup n'est pas contente, les répercussions risquent d'être plus importantes que l'on ne croit, mais cela nous ne le savons pas encore. Peut-être dans le prochain ? Je l'espère en tout cas. La plume est toujours aussi vive et pleine d'humour. Les joutes verbales ne manquent pas et la pitié pour certains personnages, tel ce Todd donne incontestablement le sourire. Et ces histoires de fées mangeuses de crème, alors là je crois bien que c'est la première fois que j'en entends parler.
En conclusion, une nouvelle histoire où nous suivons Shelley et Théo dans leur nouvelle vie, où Kim ne fait rien comme il faut, où Lucy veut perdre ses cornes et aimer, où Frankie est à mourir de rire et enfin où Satan nous avait appris à être mieux que pathétique. La multitude d’événements nous emmène à leurs côtés dans un esprit totalement fou. Tiens, j'ai oublié la voyante qui boit tellement qu'elle lit forcément dans les fonds de bouteille ses prédictions, qui sont toujours trop justes ! Pas de prise de tête, mais plutôt une histoire qui sait redonner le sourire ! Un deuxième tome que j'ai préféré au premier.

I have read/listened to this series 3 times and I still love it. This is book is the story about how Lucy Fir, a former devil, tries to redeem her self and become a better person. We also have the continuation of the story of Frankie Love and how he now has to accept that he is a vampire. Both of them have to overcome their pasts and accept their new futures in order for them to find love together. As side stories we see the continuation of other storylines that affect all the side characters and we can see how the next book in the series is going to start to be set up. A great, quirky supernatural romance. It only got 4 stars because the main love story line isnt realized until the end. But if you continue the series you will see how this book had to set up so much more. So it is worth it!

I really enjoyed this book. All of the main characters from the previous books make their appearances, some of them fleeting but it was good to see everyone in withernsea again. Saying that the main character didn't endear herself to me for most of the book. The amount of time I spent thinking there wasn't anything really likeable about her, but I needn't have worried because Andie wove her magic and Lucy properly redeemed herself in the end, but not till right at the end. I absolutely loved the ending of this book though and I for one cannot wait for the next instalment of the dramas in Withernsea.

If you enjoy tales featuring vampires, demons, angels, and the full spectrum in between, than you need to be aquainted with Andie Long's books!
Love can be tricky when you live around humans and arent human yourself, but thankfully the Supernatural community can turn to Kim to help find them their perfect date. Or, at least try to. Hijinks and antics abound aplenty in this humurous book, which will make you giggle.
I guess this could be a stand alone novel, but for maximum impact I really suggest you read the first book in the series, well, first. You wont regret reading either!!

This was such a great story. I loved how Lucy couldn't control her powers when someone says God..Frankie had me laughing at him not being able to be away from KIm.. I felt sorry for him that Satan jusy wouldn't leave him alone.I loved all the characters in this story. The plot was great. I loved Shelly taking on Satan, and the God of Love coming down to help them. I didn't see the hook up happening at the end, but was happy for the couple. ( Don't want to give away any spoilers). Can wait to see what happens next.
