Great Book

As an Introvert myself a lot of what was said in this book really hit home for me. I kept reading with approval as if the writer personally knew me. We introverts do not have to apologies for being introverted and should accept and embrace who we are.

True rating; 1.75 stars

There are some good pieces of advice - reminders for introverts to accept their own inclinations; not to feel guilty for not being an extrovert; and that introversion and shyness are not the same thing.

However the tone of the book is overly friendly for what I'd expect from a self help book, and for such a short volume a lot of advice is repeated verbatim in different sections and I was surprised by how many quotes there are from other authors on similar topics.

I have this 3 stars because it was full of wrong words. As a proofreader, I know these should have been caught during the editing process. The content itself was good but the multitude of errors drove me crazy.

Thank you, I am an introvert in good company

I always thought that I was weird for hating parties. Even being invited was the worst thing ever, I'd gnash my teeth for weeks, and under my breath, and end up cussing out the people who invited me. Hate parties!!! I love silence, and living alone, and reading books at night. I unplugged my t.v. four years ago and haven't needed to plug it in again. I thought I was rebellious, and smart, turns out my introverted personality, stepped up and said enough! Awesome book! Read and enjoy!

I love Thibaut's approach to introversion. I have read books that make it seem like the best & only way to live as an introvert is to fake being an extrovert but he didn't do that. This book made me a fan of his because of his delivery. It's not watered down or so eloquent that it goes over your head. There were workable exercises and affirmations in the book that really made it feel like I was conversing with a friend that understands me, and wants me to thrive as the person I'm meant to be, not as the person society tells me I should be. I will definitely re-read and take notes!

I'm enjoying the second book I’ve read by this author, which provides fascinating insights into the introvert personality. Despite the valuable ideas, basic knowledge, and insights, I'm finding it challenging to stay fully engaged due to frequent spelling and grammatical errors every 5-10 pages. It seems like this might be one of the author's earlier works or lacked thorough editing. The content is excellent but could greatly benefit from a re-release with improved editing.

Content was good, and the message in this book is quite helpful. The typos, missing words and spelling mistakes though really distracted me. I've never read a published book with so many mistakes in it! Even a basic spell checker can find when the same word is typed twice in a row on accident.

A book about what it is to be an introvert and understand what it means to be one with good explanations and also self reflection.

There were many grammatical errors throughout this book. While the content itself was useful, the book became frustrating for me to continue reading.

I felt inspired reading it. Idk why the other reviews are about saying its surface level etc , it was meant to give u a jumping point to form your own success. At least that was my impression.

Excellent understanding of introversion, with practical action steps to embrace being an introvert and make it work for you - rather than being ashamed or seeing it as something wrong.

I did also notice the typos and other errors pointed out by other reviewers. They can be a little distracting, especially if correct grammar is your thing. The perils of self publishing.

I found it useful, it's basically a brief explanation about how an introvert feels and some tips about how to deals with the drawbacks of being an introvert in the current society.
It's short and easy reading, it's worth a read if you're an introvert.
