In lieu of recent chaos in her life, Gia is more than ready to move forward. Being with Quincy and dealing with the drama attached to him has ultimately pushed the formerly naive woman to seek comfort; Right in the arms of Khris; Her knight in shining armor. While she is enjoying the peace of mind that comes from having a man committed to only her, he is enjoying the challenge of being everything she wants him to be and more. However, feeling as if he'll never measure up to the standards, Khris finds himself stagnantly holding onto the past, ultimately creating problems for the budding romance.
Zac, finding himself in a never-ending tug of war between his mind & heart, struggles to deal with Ava's betrayal. Thoughts of a future without her seem unbearable, but merely forgiving and salvaging what's left of their relationship is too easy. Dealing with a bruised heart and an even more bruised ego, the only thing he is sure about is doing everything he can to inflict some of his same turmoil on the woman who has crushed him.
For years, two of the people who should've been closest to Quincy have crossed him in every way imaginable. Vengeance was the natural reaction, but after a shocking resolution comes to light, he has a change of heart. Left to face his karma directly, things are finally put in perspective for him. He's ready to right some of the many wrongs he's done, no matter the ending results it has on him.
Reveling in the many mistakes she's made, Ava finds herself in a dark place. Knowing that she has lost one of the most important people in her life, she contemplates on how to cope. With Zac pushing her to her limits, she tries hard not to fall back into her old habits. The consequences of her actions seem never-ending, leaving her confused on how to fix things.
The heart wants what it wants, but is that always enough? As secrets and truths are revealed, find out which couples prevail in the finale to this drama-filled series.
A Job well done it’s 2:00am and I’m just now finishing. I’m glad all of the couples have grown. It was worth the wait. I’ll miss the crew Shalini and Malik up next...
I said that I would never want Gia to be with Quincey because he did her dirt wrong and Gia was a fool to ever take him back BUT I take all that back! I’m glad he got it together and they got on the right track and now have a whole little family! Khris just put the worst taste in my mouth about him I thought he was A1 but tuh he a dog too smh! I’m glad Shalini and Malik balanced each other out but what ever happened after the dinner? Ava and zac😍😍 my favs I’m more then excited that she finally came clean and they picked up where the real love was left and had Emmory! Raquel is a low down money hungry selfish B—— how can she justify that what she did was to save her relationship regardless of how many times she was cheated on he never did anything compared to what she did to him! Poor Maxwell😭😭😭 couldn’t even have a chance at life cuz of his selfish mother she just SICK!!!
😭 I’m so emotional! First off, let’s say that I wasn’t expecting a lot of things to happen the way they did. Ava and Zac, man... Whew! What an emotional rollercoaster! Shalini and Malik gave me my laughs, but they also made me fall in love with their budding relationship. Talk about a match made in heaven! I was #TeamKhris... But then he had to be an idiot. I love the way Gia and Quincy grew even more in this book and didn’t spare any feelings. It was a natural love between the two, and my God... the ending blew me away. As always, Author Ash Ley gave me all types of emotions, and even brought a few tears to my eyes! I know that some stories have to end, but these characters were like family! 😭🤞🏾 Job well done! ❣️Ash Ley is definitely one of my favorites! ☺️
This was a good series considering it seemed to center on Gia trying to find love after her grandparents died & everything Quincy put her though because she kept falling for the wrong guys. I hated tht Maxwell had to die in order for Raquel to come clean about tht not being his son but in the end Quincy finally got it together & realized the belonged together. I would love to read a spin-off with Ava, Zac, Shalini & Malik tht way we can see how Gia & Quincy is doing
The series was ok. Characters were good but the whole series was beyond dragged out. I feel like it could have been a shorter series without all the extraness. There was too many flashbacks that was dragged out for no reason. It was too much for the series.
I been waiting on this little gem for a while now. Ash is an excellent writer and I like the way she brought all the characters stories to an end. Good storyline from start to finish, character development was good and the characters seem to grow with each part.
Raquel is so low there's no description for her😑. Zac and Ava made my heart smile finally😂 I thought i.was going to have to smack some sense into them. Communication is key in any relationship but Gia and Quincy learned how.important it is as friends as well.
What a great series...my girl Gia went through some stuff...she is the poster child of strength, love, forgiveness...wish there was more to the ending because she fought so hard for her happiness...
