Gertrude Raffel Schmeidler was Professor Emerita of Psychology, City University of New York, and twice served as President of the Parapsychological Association. She received her doctorate in Psychology from Harvard University in 1949, and also held offices in the American Society for Psychical Research.
A cursory overview of the early work on ESP, with especially careful criticism of the effects of the fast and loose research methods of the early 20th century explorations into psychic abilities.
