If you are looking for gentle romps through the flowers, with lovers holding hands and never making mistakes, then my books are not for you.

I don't write heroes or heroines, I write people with baggage, history and problems. My characters are flawed, they're messy, they make disastrous mistakes that are hard to come back from. My stories are not sweet or kind, they are dark and, at times, cruel. They deal with uncomfortable subjects and I do not apologise for it.


If you like plot twists, characters you don't think you'll ever grow to love but eventually do, sarcasm, dark paths and messy relationships, then come on in. The water may be deep and shark-infested, but I know the way out ...I promise.

This was a great little read letting us see more into the dark legacy world. Some of the characters we’ve already met, but others are new and I hope there’s going to be more of their story. Hawk and Telly stole my heart and I hope we get to see more of them.

I read these short stories and it was like a little insight into the mind of the characters. Some of them we've gotten to see in book 1, but others we will get to see in upcoming books (I'm sure), and I cannot wait to get to know more about them (Especially Kane!!) Whenever I see L. Ann and L. Gene Brown post a book, my first thought is "GIMME!!" lol you're gonna love this collection of short stories!

Shadowfall Shorts

I loved these short stories from the Dark Legacy series. I am even more intrigued by Kane than I was after Bonded in Blood. I fell hard for Hawk and Dally, please let there be more of them. And it was so much fun to find out what happened in Vegas. Isaac though...Oh my!

Loved these short stories! I want more! Fell in love with Kane! These are excellent must read stories and I hope the author makes them into a full book!!!
