Time is running out for Arcadia to redeem the guys. The Angel of Death keeps popping up in weird places, offering to make all her problems just disappear .
Unfortunately, Ace, her best friend and the snarky voice in her head, was her greatest problem. Ace was killing her and not just with bad dick jokes. She was the reason Arcadia is sick, like a parasite that will eventually kill its host.
Oh, and Arcadia is pregnant. Surprise!
As Arcadia gets sicker, the race is on to get everyone redeemed and ensure they all get the happily ever after they deserve.
This is an approx 25k word reverse harem serial, which will have four instalments. It has mature themes, including sexy times and swearing.
When I was nine, my grandmother and her friends used to read and swap Harlequin Mills and Boons novels. When I was busted reading one, they started sneaking me boxes full of strong heroines and rugged men. Thus started a long love affair with the romance genre. Then I discovered urban fantasy, and fell in love with broody Alphas and sexy paranormals, and combining them together was a no brainer. Then I discovered Reverse Harem.... Oh my. Why choose, am I right?
O MG. I am sooo ugly crying in this book. Each part of this series has been fantastic but this part three outshines them all. I am going to have to reread that ladt part due to the tears in my eyes, i need part 4 NOW!!!
While I'm quite enjoying this book series, I never expected it to pull at my heart strings to make me ugly cry... But the story must go on and I need to go now to jump into part 4 of this series to see if I can get some type of closure.. SMH!!!
This third installment, the Pollyanna attitude is muted, but still there. The redemption of the seven is foremost, and each is trying their hardest to be what they were always intended to be. Once I think I know where this series is going, it slightly changes direction to make me wonder what will come next.
Arcadia has to make a tough choice: to save her or her baby's life. She continues to work relentlessly to redeem her guys' sins and make sure that Ace can go back to her own body. But even she can't beat cancer by herself; Ace helps Arcadia protect her children but the strain is too much for both of them. Only a divine act can save at least one of their lives, and Arcadia will find out that there is someone else's life she helped redeemed and it wasn't in vain. The story ends with a cliffhanger. The more I read, the more the story hooks me up. I cannot wait to see if Arcadia will survive and will succeed in redeeming all of her guys.
Learn your dying? Check Learn your body shares spirits with a fallen angel? Check Realize that the devil is a good guy (sort of, it's all about perspective) and that he's in love with the angel inside you? Check Falling in love with the seven sins? All kinds of checks! Learning that the angel is killing you? Oh, and that you're pregnant?? Hold the phone!
Ace is killing Cady. Her heart is working for 2 even though they both are sharing the same body. When she learns that she's pregnant to boot, the panic sets in. Her already stressed heart will now be taxed even more. It also means delaying her chemo. She will die faster if something can't be done. Who will help redeem the guys? They're doing so well finally. And she's come to love them all, and they her. Will they want to be good and continue to live if the woman they love dies, killing their children with her?
I love this series! It was an impulse read when I came across the 1st one. A book linked before I did my review for the one I had finished. I'm so glad I read it, though. I wouldn't have met all these amazing characters: pixie sized scrapper Cady, the seven zombie sins, Luc, Ace, Clara the Irish nurse from the mobster family, The Big Guy (aka the silver fox in the poncho), the winged donkey bum they call Az, ... This story has pulled me in so much I even enjoy the cliffhangers because I know they'll be explained in the next installment.
Holy Moly! These books keep getting more and more interesting. While due to Cady's situation, there isn't as much steam in this book other than some kisses, there's still a lot of love, lots of twists and turns, and even tears in the end. Oh boy! And finally, we've resolved the grammatical errors (well, most of them).
--Rating - 4 stars - not as steamy as the first 2 books, but still a great read. Again, I wish the whole set was just one book (which you can get on Amazon). Depending on the time that you're reading this series, it may or may not be free for Kindle Unlimited readers. For me, it's been on my "pay-to-read" list for months, and during a routine check for sales I found that the series was free BUT ONLY is you downloaded the books individually. If you wanted to read the collection/series as one, you had to buy it. --Steam - 3 stars - not very steamy, but still cute --Storyline - 4 stars - loving where this is going --Plot Twists - 4 stars - phew! --Emotional Pull - 4 stars - this one got me in the last chapter. Ugh. Tissues please. --Writing - 4 stars - very comfortable to read and a lot less grammar issues. --Denouement - 4 stars - a lot of items are explained and the group is growing lovely together --Cliffhanger? - Heck Yeah! --HEA? - uhmmmm
I am still trying to get over that ending. I’m this book we get to know the guys even better and you learn to love them more. Arcadia is trying to complete the redemption for each before the baby is born but the twist, turn and roller coaster turns makes it difficult. Add in a pissed of devil and sassy Ace and you have another hit for this author. I’m pretty sure I will follow her to the dearth’s of hell any day.
i thought this book was boring; the entire thing is centered around poor dying pregnant Arcadia - which is fine, but nothing happens except her not staying in bed & other people telling her to get in bed. it does further the storyline around Arcadia & Ace's relationship - so I understand the purpose of it, but it was just boring compared to the first two. here's to hoping #4 can redeem itself (pun intended).
I absolutely loved this latest installment. I devoured it in one night. Ace and Arcadia are some of the best examples of friends I have ever seen. Arcadia’s Sins love her more with each passing day and it makes what they’re going through both beautiful yet heartbreaking. I can’t wait for part 4!
I still love this! I'm never normally a serial fan but this is so worth the wait and the author is amazing. I'm excited for Ace's point of view and I'm also curiously the last redemption, who is jt!?
That cliffhanger was so mean! But, if my gosh, that story was fantastic. Cady is so my kind of heroine and her sins are all kinds if sexy. The tension while reading this was unreal! I haven't been that in to a book in a while. I NEED the next installment!!!
These books started off quick but became a slow to medium burn RH. The characters were building their relationship and then bam! - the pregnancy. Now, with that ending, what is going to happen? How is the author going to wrap it up?
Oh my god I love this series! I love candy and her men they are to die for. This series is so well written and it makes me want to much more. Cannot wait until the next installment it can never come soon enough!
I really like this serial. The story is just so stinking good. There are a few errors, but don't detract too much from the story. Can't wait for the final one
Yes, I had literal tears. I laughed so hard, I even shared those moments with my husband. I love this series. I don’t give a crap that it’s short! I feel so connected to this series and characters.
The cliffhangers!! So good you almost hate the author for leaving you with so much emotional pain but you have to respect her for bringing you full circle on every single one you’re capable of. It’s good. But now I’ve got to go read the last one before my brain hurts.
Why does every installment have something that prohibits me from giving 5 stars? This time it was blood. Basically everything that was new and shock to them (sorry, spoilers) should have shown on her blood test which were supposed to be extensive!! Great book otherwise!
I don't know what to say. This book was amazing, I read all 4 in one night, I couldn't put it down. I laughed.. A LOT., and cried and was angry... ugh it put me through the ringer but I was in love with every character... I even loved the devil himself!! I would give this 6 stars if I could!
Maybe these books are just to short or to rushed but I feel like half the story is missing from these books. The little details the growth it’s all rushed through.
Oh my poor heart..no pun intended. This cliffy was so much worse then the others! I need to find out what happens. By the way this is an amazing series with so much action I just can't seem to put them down. Must read!
honestly this was okay - I was really thrown by the pregnancy trope. I’m sure it’ll be relevant the following books but that is not something I enjoy reading at all.
came for the spice, left with 9 months of swollen feet.
The story is deep, delightful sexy and devastating all at once. The story is an interesting one and the books must be read in order to make sense. The series is complete so no worries
I honestly feel like this book would've been better with less guys. I know, I know it's supposed to be about the Seven Sins. But... I feel like we're reading so many stories inside the one we're supposed to read. It just doesn't feel right.
