Delaine Derry Green's anthologies are always worth picking up. Each one has a general theme. There's a rotating cast of artists with many repeat contributors who have been involved from the beginning. I love that certain cartoonists (like John Porcellino) who have arguably "outgrown" the need to be in anthologies continue to contribute to every issue. There is a variety of styles (and quality, if we're being honest), keeping things interesting. Anthologies are a great way to discover new artists, and NMSD definitely delivers on that front!

Swell true tales of the unknown from a gallery of wonderful small-press cartoonists, including many of my faves. Also including me! Loved this issue.
