Gaby Dalkin "Adam and Ryan make vegetarian recipes that are not only delicious but they'll satisfy any meat lover too!"

Molly Yeh "I love this book! It is truly impossible not to love Adam and Ryan and Husbands that Cook . Between the giggle-worthy headnotes and wildly craveable recipes, this is a book that you will use again and again, and all the while feel as if you are cooking with two great friends."

From the award-winning bloggers behind Husbands That Cook comes a book of original recipes inspired by their shared love of vegetarian food, entertaining, world travel―and each other.

Food has always been a key ingredient in Ryan Alvarez and Adam Merrin’s relationship―and this cookbook offers a unique glimpse into their lives beyond their California kitchen. From their signature Coconut Curry with Chickpeas and Cauliflower, which was inspired by their first date at a shopping mall food court, to the Communication Breakdown Carrot Cake (which speaks for itself), these and other recipes reflect the husbands' marriage in all its flavor and variety.

Written with the same endearing, can-do spirit of their blog, the husbands present more than 120 brand-new recipes―plus some greatest hits from the site―that yield delicious results every time. Each entry in Husbands That Cook is a reminder of how simple and satisfying vegetarian meal-making can be, from hearty main dishes and sides to healthy snacks and decadent desserts and drinks. Ryan and Adam also outline common pantry items and everyday tools you’ll need to fully stock your kitchen. Whether you’re cooking for one or feeding the whole family, this book is chock-full of great creative recipes for every day of the week, all year long.

Everyone… back to the kitchen!!

If you’re changing up your eating habits, looking to make better choices, maybe a vegetarian lifestyle is the right direction for you!
While I’m not a vegetarian, I do try to incorporate as many healthy options into my diet that I (and my husband) can tolerate. (And yes, perhaps even enjoy!) Unfortunately, the vast selection of recipes available are usually lacking.... that is... until I had the opportunity to peel open this book!

This is not your mama’s Vegetarian cookbook!

All the recipes are highly detailed, clearly explained and some more complex than others. With Vegan options too! They span all meals, from breakfast to entries and deserts.

A new side staple in our home are the chili lime garlic fries! Yummy!! And was easy-peasy! (I actually made these AGAIN just last night)!
Another Wow - Calzones with Broccoli, Pesto, Artichoke Hearts and Sun-dried Tomatoes!
Outstanding!
So many great recipes! And I'm not missing the meat! What!!?

Up next, we’re planning on the Moo Shu Vegetable Lettuce Wraps with Peanut Sauce! And the Spanikopita Quiche!

I just wish there were more pictures of the delicious dishes please! And perhaps a lighter, soft-cover version. A bit on the heavy side!

Thank you to Jordan Hanley at St Martin’s Press for this amazing cookbook!

Husbands That Cook was such an enjoyable read. I expect to learn something from a cookbook: a new perspective, a trick or two. I look forward to new ideas. What I don't necessarily expect is to be entertained. I certainly was in this book. What's not to love about writers who not only inform but entertain us by their writing. My hat is off to these two.

Although I am not a vegetarian, I found many recipes in this volume that will definitely be added to my repertoire.

Within the pages of this book you will find dishes with a variety of ethnic origins. I'm sure you will find a few that you love!

The only thing missing is the nutritional information for each dish.

This is a great vegetarian cook book. Plenty of recipes that are great even if you only want a new way of preparing a new side dish or salad.

Kind of international, mostly doable, but inconsistent vegan options. Pretty pictures and cute travel stories.
