Now this is a romance that I sorta/kinda enjoyed!!

This is part of a series and while it can be read as a standalone read, it was confusing at first with all the mentions of the characters & their storylines in previous books. Not to mention, that the story begins AFTER Kat & Antonio have already reunited so we don't learn details about that part or the yrs of their separation. It also contains slight BDSM though mostly with other characters and not in detail....

Antonio & Kat were CIA operatives 6 yrs prior working for her uncle the CIA director. They had a whirlwind relationship in which they met, fell in love & got married all in one week! When they returned from their honeymoon, they were sitting at an outdoor café when someone shot at them. Antonio was shot 3 times and when he woke from hospital, Kat’s evil uncle told him she was dead. The evil man said the same to Kat about her husband. So each thinking the other was dead, six years go by before Antonio sees a picture of his wife & goes to rescue her, however this time there is a beautiful addition to the family of five yr old son “Ant” who is a mini Antonio (Kat was pregnant when the shouting happened).

What I loved about this story is that we have a strong & kick-ass heroine and an alpha/protective Hero who is so in love with his wife & child that he would do anything to protect & keep them safe – which makes it difficult since Kat is not the typical stay at home wife or damsel in distress. What she does with the women’s abusive husbands/boyfriends will have you cracking up (she is after all a former CIA Assassin....).

There is a lot of drama & suspense in this story, but also humor, romance & lot's of hot/sexy moments that kept me entertained. “Ant” (short for Antonio) is super adorable for a kid his age. I fell in love with him from page one!

Favorite quotes:

This ends in a sweet HEA and in terms of safety, there is no mention of OW/OM during their separation. All in all, for entertainment value, it's 5 stars & for the "suspense", more like 4 which is why I took off a star.

3.5 stars rounded up.

Now that Antonio Ross has his presumed dead wife back in his life, he's determined never to let her or their son, go again. Kat thought her husband was dead, too, thanks to her corrupt uncle, the CIA director, and ever since his "death" she's been working as a highly trained assassin. Now that she's back home, though, she agrees to retire from the CIA, and instead, starts volunteering at a women's shelter. Now if only things would calm down now that the two are happily back together. But of course not, because Kat's uncle is still out there, and there's trouble brewing at the women's shelter. Will Kat and Antonio ever catch a break?

I liked the premise of this story, just as I did the other installment of this series (Hacker Exposed) that I've read, but once again, I had a few problems with its execution. I do think this author's writing has improved, though, and can really see the potential in her writing. I'd say just some polish is needed - tightening of the dialogue so it's not so choppy, and more showing rather than telling in terms of storytelling. Aside from that, I liked Hacker Revelation and its characters and found it fast paced and suspenseful.

This was the first book I read in the series. You can read them as standalone but you get so much more background when you have read them in order that I would suggest reading them in order. With that said this book was amazing and I could not read fast enough.

We get to meet Kat and Antionio. They are both CIA agents and have been married for 6 years. They are sitting down in a cafe when all hell breaks loose and a shooting happens. Antonio is shot and when he gets to the hospital he is told his wife Kat is dead by her uncle. I really did not like her uncle because he is a corrupt CIA Director.

Fast forward a few years and Antonio finds out that his wife is alive. He is determined to get her back and he sets out to find her and when he does he gets a surprise of a life time. He finds out he has a son. I love the son he is so funny and falls in love with his father right away.

I loved this book because there was so much suspense and drama going on. I also loved the ending. Man that ending was epic and made me happy! This is a must read series!

Kat is an assassin... and I didn't believe it. I chose to take most of her behavior as comical, since she's the worst assassin ever.

The revenge on Juan was just not good enough.

Once more we go within this hodge podge family of security specialists....now that Antonio and his wife ( presumed dead until now) Kat are FINALLY reunited, along with his young lookalike son Ant they hope all will be calm. ::::shaking head woefully::::: when has that EVER been the case? Kat has been working a the abused women's center to help give them the tools needed to persevere and thrive. Downside? She keeps getting extremely attached to these amazing women...and a few of the men who harmed them *may* have vanished and become food for her friendly alligator that happens to frequent behind her house. Hey, at least there's no bodies to find. Once again however,e lives are upended with the reappearance of her Uncle Juan....ex CIA Director and evil mastermind extraordinaire. Like a human wack a mole, he just keeps popping up and refusing to go down. Causing immense frustration for Kat, Sophie, their spouses, friends...and the President of the United States (who happens to be the brother of Zach). Trying to get to know his mini me son, and beloved wife again now that yes relieved to know she's indeed ALIVE is getting harder and harder with each impending dangerous element. Psycho uncle check, even crazier abusive ex to one of her abused clients....check, crazy motorcycle gang thats aligned with aforementioned nuts uncle check....any other evil maniacal jerks....who knows? So far the universe seems to be throwing every evil jerk imaginable their way...and it all began with an alert from their son Ant's school saying he's missing!!! WTF?!?! And so it all begins.....thankfully they thought him well and he hid in a closet when spotting his unhinged uncle Juan. Thanks to the 'ESP' tracker his Daddy put in his shoe (yes its a GPS tracker hehe...gotta love the little ones) Anthony and Kat found their beloved child quickly. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series first if you haven't before...that will give you a much richer backstory, and help you to k.ow all the players. Its NOT a must, but definitely helps. This book, and series is filled with action, strong, capable, and highly intelligent/independent women, and a sprinkling of romance along the way. A must read in my book 😎🔥🔥... ENJOY!!!!!!

There were a lot of names to keep track of at the beginning of the book and I was getting confused at first. I thought maybe I needed to have read the first four books, as this one is marked as Book 5 in a series. I saw one author have a Cast of Characters listed at the front of her book, and thought that might have been helpful here for new readers. At any rate, things got clearer as I kept reading and the book was just full of action and adventure! There was an assassin (who got rid of bodies in a very creative (and even funny) way). There was some safe cracking, some need to help abused women and children at a shelter and keep the abusive men from harming them, a hunt for the #1 terrorist in the world, the need for a panic room, and great sex scenes interspersed through it all, among other things. I recommend this book to those readers who maybe have time to read the first four before reading this one, but they can manage without doing that as well.

Antonio and Katherine had been separated by an attempt on their lives. They were each told that the other was dead, and they lived there lives by themselves for the next few years, oblivious to the fact that they other was alive. The story begins a few months after they had been reunited and they are starting to learn what it means to be a family again. But, unfortunately their problems are only just starting. Someone from their past is coming after them and they have to catch or eliminate him before he can follow through.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I really enjoyed the characters as well. Especially Katherine and her team of disposal alligators that she keeps in her backyard to get rid of any dead evidence. Katherine kept me laughing at her antics and kept me on my toes in anticipation of what troubles she would get into next.

This is a extremely well written story that had so many twist and turns that you don't want to put it down another night of reading into the early hours of the morning.

Antonio and Kat have finally found one another again after both been told that the other died just after their wedding but they are now having a chance to be a family with their young son Ant. Antonio is still running his mercenary business but Kat is no longer a CIA assassin and is working at a shelter for abused woman You don't want to know how she gets rid of abusive spouses that won't stay away. When Uncle Jaun the ex director of the CIA returns you just know he will bring danger to their lives once again but with the help of friends and colleges will they finally bring this man to justice. Be prepared for a thrilling ride as the good guys finally try to bring this all to ed and start to live their lives in peace

I received a free copy of White Hat Security Book 5: Hacker Revelation by Linzi Baxter and this review was given freely.
Ex-CIA assassin Kat and her AA security firm owner husband Antonio find danger as they start to rebuild their lives as a couple and a family. This book pulls all the characters from the series together in a complex and twisted plot of secrets and good intentions as everyone is bugging their significant other in the hopes of catching Juan while protecting the ones they love. Subterfuge, the return of Uncle Juan, erotic scenes and the humorous angle the author takes to relate Kat's assassinating the abusive spouses of her shelter women make this action packed, violence filled novel suspenseful and oddly entertaining read.

Hacker revelation by Linzi Baxter is book 5 in a series that features strong dynamic, capable, highly intelligent and independent women.
This story focuses on Kat and Antonio Ross who believed that the other died in a violent shoot out the day after their marriage six years ago.
Each of them in the meantime continued with their own life whilst living apart.
This is an intense story that is full of action, adventure, romantic suspense, secrets, lies and betrayals.
With intriguing characters, it is humorous at times, violent at others and is an entertaining novel that is an easy read even though it seemed that the Author was in a hurry to finish as the story is short and the dialogue choppy at times.

Dark, Exciting, and Full of Action!

I liked the way this story starts. Fast paced from the first paragraph when Kat and Antonio realize Juan is a threat to their beloved son “Ant”. The backstory is quickly revealed and we are whipped into the exciting life of Kat and Antonio.

Over the top scenes with steamy connection between the main couple.

If you like the idea of a kick butt heroine who knows how to take care of herself and the ones she loves, and an alpha male hero set on protecting his woman and child not matter what. Then you will surely love this faced paced, well written romantic drama.

This was a straight through read for me. I love this series from Linzi Baxter. Every one grabs you from page one to the end and you just want more! Did not disappoint with the action and suspense. Couldn’t wait to flip to the next page, my finger was very busy. Have a feeling she will have another book out before too long!
This picks up with Antonio and Kat still hunting down her corrupt ex-director of the CIA uncle. All three of the security companies that are owned by their friends get involved in keeping Kat and her sister Sophie alive.

Reuniting of Antonio and his wife Kat who each thought the other dead due to CIA director who is her corrupt uncle. It's filled with action, strong, capable, and highly intelligent/independent women, and a sprinkling of romance along the way. While they try to keep the women at the shelter safe from the abusive men trying to harm them, a hunt for the most wanted terrorist continues and some great sex scenes. An enjoyable standalone but is more intrguing if you read the first four in the series but not needed.

Yes to Hacker Revelation

Absolutely loved this story... Kat and Antonio are hilarious. Antonio is the male lead he is all alpha and his female lady Kitty-Kat is five three with red hair and had pet alligators. Kat is a trained CIA agent who has a sniper rifle called Betty. Antonio was a Navy Seal now runs AA security with his twin brother Asher. Overall this story has humor, angst, suspense and the author keeps the story flowing from beginning to end. I highly recommend this story and series but I would start at book 1 Hacker Reexposed so you can get a feel of all the characters. Happy Reading!!

Totally was not expecting this...

6 years have passed, where do you go from here?

what do you do now when everything you thought you knew was a lie?

Lost moments, wasted tears and anger... who will pay the price?

Love the free and easy nature of the relationships in this story.

Also comedy at its finest with some of the not so friendly four legged evidence eaters.

Keeping life on the straight and narrow for most is no drama but for Kat and Antonio it is most definitely anything but...

Linzi has delivered yet again in this latest installment of the White Hat Security Series.

Straight onto the next installment i go.

Great story! It had really good elements: action, suspense, some humor, hot males, a bad ass heroine, a cute kid, and of course good sex scenes!
Kat, an ex-assassin is reunited with her husband Antonio, after she was presumed to be dead. They are both trying to live a normal life with their son, but can't because they are in danger. They have to deal with some people that threaten their happiness in order to live the happy ending that they deserve.

Antonio and Kat

I loved this one! You can’t help but root for Antonio and His Kitty Kat. They are up against the evil uncle and also a sick man who likes to beat his wife. Kat is helping at a women’s shelter and also feeds her pet alligators in her time…like lunch breaks. Antonio and Zane are looking for the evil uncle and trying to keep his wife safe and from going to jail for feeding the alligators or meow she gets their food anyway. This book is action packed, very suspenseful, hilarious, hot and all together great. You really need to read this one!

I couldn't get connected to it

So I love this author and the previous White Hat books. However this one I just couldn't get connected/ invested in to Kat and Antonio. I do not know what it was. All the previous books for the series I remember being great and I thoroughly enjoyed them. This one I just knocked out as a quick read with no real investment in to the characters. However I am excited to read and Daisy and see how that one goes. I've been anxious for that story however my drive to read things in order kept me from skipping this one and going straight to Daisy's.

Hacker Revelation picks up right where the last book left off, so it is recommended to read the previous four books first in order to understand and most definitely to keep up with all the character names.

True to Linzi Baxter form, Hacker Revelation keeps you on the edge of your seat. Full of suspense, steam, and secrets, this book is one of the best from the series.

Take a chance on Kat and Antonio. You won't be disappointed.

This is book five in the white hat security series and they have all been good reads. I really enjoyed the entire series. The only problem I had is the author couldn't keep her time frames the same from book to book. As an example Kat/Antonio thought each other were killed 5.5 years ago, but yet their son is only 4 years old. something is wrong with that time frame since the boy looks just like Antonio.

You will enjoy the entire series, please start with book 1 though, it helps put the characters in alignment.

Hacker Revelation

Since Kat as returned to Florida, she and Antonio have been very busy bring down Juan Sanchez. Kat has also been working at the women's shelter and wishing she could do more for these ladies. All Antonio wants to do is protect Kat but she has been alone for so long it is hard for me to work on a team. Can Antonio and Kat learn to work together through everything?
