Four men, brought together by fate, connected in more powerful ways than they’d ever imagined.
Lidon, Vieno, Palani, and Enar are finding their way in their complicated relationship. For Vieno, it’s easy. He thrives in the care of his men, taking his place as their omega and focusing on rebuilding the ranch.
For Enar, it’s a lot harder to find his role…and himself. His struggles to accept himself and his place in the relationship create tension between him and his mates.
Palani keeps digging into the Melloni gene and the fraud case Lidon alerted him to. His investigation reveals a conspiracy that is bigger than any of them expected, and it endangers them all.
Lidon discovers powers he never knew he possessed. When his mates and his home are threatened, he steps into a legendary identity. With the help of new friends that become family, Lidon vows to protect what’s his.
Alpha’s Submission is an MMMM mpreg romance and the second book in the Irresistible Omegas series. It is not a stand-alone but continues the story from the first book. It ends with a HFN for our four men, but their storyline will continue in the next books.
Would you like the long or the short version of my bio?
The short? You got it.
I write steamy gay romance books and I love it. I also love reading books. Books are everything.
How was that?
A little more detail? Gotcha.
I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.
My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.
Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

On the romantic side I struggled a bit with the dynamic of the foursome between Lidon, Vieno, Enar and Palani during the first half of this book… that’s why it took me so long to finish this. BUT it was one hundred percent my issue and not the book’s fault! —And I got into it later and it was totally fine.
He was the center of their universe, the one who united them.
Meanwhile Lidon is building his pack and what he learns about the old ways is super fascinating. As well as the ongoing storyline is gripping and with all they discover regarding the Melloni-gene and the history of wolf-shifter packs and esp Lidon’s bloodline, it was pretty hard to put the book down in the end.
“Pack, meet your alpha. Alpha, meet your pack.”
And Enar, my sweet sweet Enar, love how brave you are. ♡
"Vieno is my heart’s mate, and Enar is my childhood’s mate, my best friend, but you…you earned my love with your character. It’s impossible not to love you, since your heart is so big. Our foursome wouldn’t function without you.”
“We are four, and we are one, alpha, beta, beta, and omega. Four hearts, one soul. Four bodies, one mind. What we bind together, no man will ever break apart. I am the alpha, and I claim these men for life!”
“Four hearts, one soul. Four bodies, one mind. What we bind together, no man will ever break apart.”
A solid continuation to Nora Phoenix's omegaverse series as she tackles emotions and histories, loyalty and fealty, and sweet and heat all in one. Haha, I couldn't help myself there. Heating it up right where we left off as Vieno proves just how irresistible he is to all three men, showcasing his talents as an omega that aims to please and lives to be pleased. It is about trying to figure out their place and position in this new setup of foursome - who belongs - why they belong - what do they bring to the relationship. It is a dynamic unheard of, unexplored that is full of uncertainty, doubts and insecurities - not realizing that together, they complete one another - fulfill each other in ways the other couldn't. It's a startling and alarming revelation of a relationship to accept, but the way Lidon, Palani and Enar make it work - worked.
And no one is feeling those doubts more than Enar - not only for how it doesn't feel like he fits, but rather his own conflicting thoughts on who he is as an Alpha - that an Alpha's Submission is not something that has ever been seen or accepted, so what does that make him?
As always, Palani was my favorite - a rare gem that just something about his attitude and personality clicks with me. 💟💟 'He was so strong and yet so kind and soft, knowing when to be bossy and when to embrace, when to push and when to let go.' I loved his sense of reason with Lidon, his playful and teasing acceptance with Vieno, but most of all, his understanding love with Enar - truly, just seeing them become something so much more - that need to dispel Enar's own thoughts of inadequacy - that he wasn't deserving or needed to be a part of them - was heartbreaking, but seeing Palani admit to so much more with him - to get him to see how special and loved and needed he was - was beautiful. 🫂🫂
“But you, Enar, you I choose. I choose you to be my third mate. You’re the only one I chose myself… Don’t you see how special that makes you?”
Oh, Enar - you definitely had it the worst this time around - and for good reason, even if the three of them showed you time and time again, just how foolish your reason was. But, it felt so real - his doubts, his hesitancy, his absolute crackdown over his own status and what it makes him feel to be content to submit himself - to be at the mercy of another. 🥺 'They’d all said the same, that they wanted him here. Then why couldn’t he feel it?' I loved that he grew braver to accept himself for who he was - come to terms that he was wanted and needed. Despite being the alpha he is, I loved seeing how each of them made him see otherwise - through their words, their touches, their heart-to-heart conversations that really touched how much they had grown to mean to each other - Palani, especially. Lidon may be his childhood friend, Vieno, the omega who reassured him of his importance in their unique group, but Palani loved him. 💜💜 Loved him and knew him without him having to say anything - and I just loved seeing their romance unfold - something so achingly tender, yet still blazingly hot in how safe Palani made him feel - made him see that it's not only Vieno he shares a special connection with.
Well, in Vieno's case, he definitely has it all, but nothing more than his true mated and fated heartbeat with his alpha, Lidon. Granted, they're still not my favorite pair, but I did love seeing them being so sweet and affectionate without being all over each other. ♥️♥️ It was nice seeing him get more comfortable in their home, being more active and involved, not being so afraid about stepping out. He's still so very nurturing and caring, so considerate of his men's desires and feelings that they can't help but return in kind in the bedroom and out of it, too - without prejudice or jealousy. 'And he got it, every request, every filthy need, every desperate, wanton plea.' 😌 There's just this overall protective feeling that he brings out from all of three of them that perhaps doesn't have anything to do with the irresistible pheromones that may have endangered him around others, but rather what makes them love him even more for just how much he means to them, especially Lidon.
Lidon is slowly growing on me - as in yes, he's the alpha male - the legend of lore - the one bringing all others to his pack, but he's still not my favorite. BUT I did like how good he was with the three of them - individually. 'you’re soft and strong at the same time. You bind your men together with love... It’s…mesmerizing.' 🥹 How he made them feel included, trusted them, respected them enough to not only satiate their desires, but to understand where they're coming from, so that - it'll definitely never be an equal footing for obvious reasons, but there is so a special union he shares with each of them, that he is trying his best to make it as meaningful for each of them as possible. To prove to them that being their alpha is not a right to have earned, but something he is willing and honored to give. 🩶🩶
“Where Lidon was aggressive and dominant, and Palani kissed with sweetness, Enar was sensual and could reduce you to a whimpering mess with a kiss.”
Now, I'm not saying that I wanted a lot more foursome action, but it would have been nice that I felt it as intensely when it was the four of them, rather than when they were paired off as two. It just felt a lot more intimate and sweet when they were paired off as two than as four - y'know - a more meaningful connection that had a lot of heart to it then. They did work really hard and well together to please their omega, horny little shit (affectionate) that he was. 😏 But, it was outside the bedroom where i really felt their connection shine even more so with some really emotional and heartfelt moments that I enjoyed between Palani and Lidon or Lidon with Enar or Palani and Vieno - even Vieno holding Enar's hand was so heartbreaking and touching, for how much he needed that reassurance then. I loved that they could tease each other and be themselves around one another - caring for each other's feelings and knowing when the other was in danger or felt their hurt and sadness. 🥺
Maybe it allowed them to be more honest and affectionate with their feelings, so that when the time came for action - four times over - it was past that stage of being doubtful of how hard and how far they were willing to have the scorching action go. It's not that they didn't talk openly about how strange this was when it was the four of them - how would they handle this - is it an equal exchange, a willing one - one that they all fit comfortably and happily so - an alpha claim that was entirely theirs to have and to hold. 💝💝 'It’s hard to explain, but you and I didn’t truly work until we’d become four. We need all four of us to make it work.' I loved that they communicated without qualms and were able to work it out. I just felt that the romantic moments lacked a certain passion and heat to it that seemed more alive when it was two rather than four. Ah, such a ridiculously conflicting sentiment! 🥲
“It’s happening,” he whispered. “And you’re a part of this. I’m his but yours as well. We’re four and we’re one…and we’re unbreakable together.”
The mystery of the omegas continues to grow, as does Lidon's pack and who he welcomes into his compound. As more characters are introduced, we get to see shifts in status, potential partners, a tentative partnership of others awakening their own claims over others as responsibility is handed out and power is asserted over others. With an imminent danger targeting their own, it makes sense how defensive they are of protecting each other and even as Palani draws closer to what and who is behind wanting to hurt them, it doesn't seem like it is about to end any time soon. 😟 I don't know how much of the next book I'm gonna enjoy, considering how much of Grayson I could not enjoy this time around.
Yes, I know there has to be someone who is more aware of the alpha/omega dynamics and the revelations he shared about shifters that concerns Lidon's family, but the more of the legend was revealed, the more I couldn't quite take it seriously! I don't know why! 😫 I mean, yes, it is a critical point of their lives that it is important that they are aware of their past and their potential, but -- I think, it was the way it was presented. Like, each moment when Grayson ominously hinted of the legend and what not - it would end - just like that. So, it never quite hit me as a foreboding, rather, it came off a bit comical that I was actually raising my eyebrow and shaking my head - not too keen on taking it seriously. 😣 Such a silly reason, I know, but it just bothered me - not that he was a know-it-all, because someone does have to know it all, but yeah... It does make me slightly more wary of his setup with the other two characters in the next book, but maybe I'll be charmed thrice over. 🥰🥰
i think this finally got me out of my slump. maybe. hopefully. also will probably hold off on doing a full review until the end of the series.
notes for now: palani is still my baby. enar is also my baby. and i have a feeling lars is going to crawl inside my heart and ruin me. and i am SO EXCITED for Daddy grayson
If you love my San Andreas books you might try Nora Phoenix’s Irresistible Omegas series. Tons of sex, menage (and more), and mpreg so you have to like/tolerate those tropes.
But it has one of the best, most touching allegories for a trans character I’ve ever read. Enar’s heart tugging denouement doesn’t happen until the 3rd or 4th book, but when it comes it made me so so so happy.
So recommended with reservations based on your own taste levels.
Alpha’s Submission exceeded my expectations. When this foursome began at the end of book one I wasn’t sure how much I’d enjoy it. Poly romances are usually hard for me to get into because in many cases I don’t feel like the relationships are balanced; someone will feel like a third wheel, more like an observer to the other two, or the connection between two of the people feels forced and inauthentic.
That was not the case here. The relationships in this story were completely believable and I genuinely felt the connection between all four men. They all had distinctive personalities that allowed them to offer different things to each other as well as to the relationship as a whole. Being able to see things from each person’s pov is what really helped sell the connections. We are privy to each person’s desires and insecurities, what they think and feel about each person, as well as what they need in order to be happy. Aside from Palani and Vieno, who were already in love with each other at the beginning of book one, no one immediately fell in love with anyone else. Each relationship took time to develop and that’s what made the entire thing believable. This aspect of the story was perfect.
All the other aspects of the story were just as intriguing. The mystery concerning the Melloni gene, what’s going on with the Conservative Wolf Party and the Anti Wolf Party, who is targeting Palani and Lidon, and what lies in store for Lidon’s pack. Having read the beginning of the spin off series, Irresistible Dragons, I already know that Lidon builds a powerful pack but it’s exciting to be able to see how it all comes together. I want to pace myself but I already want to jump into book three. 5 stars
This was just as good as the first book, and it picks up right where that one ended. Enar is really struggling with both his identity and his place in the foursome. Lidon and Vieno are both really coming into their place in the pack and Palani finds just where he belongs. While the story is a bit more focused on Palani and Enar, the other men are also front and center. I love how the dynamic within the foursome evolves as do the relationships between the four men individually and as pairs.
The danger to the men is not going and the underlying threat, while not resolved, becomes a bit clearer but also raises more questions. With the addition of more men to the pack and Lidon's power growing, the legacy of his family makes for interesting speculation on what will occur in the future.
I'm interested to see how the focus shifting to a different romantic grouping in the next book will impact the series. I'd also love to see that Vieno's sister is doing okay after everything she did to help save him.
Oh, sweet Enar, how I love thee. ;) Somehow I always gravitate towards the confused ones.
The story picks up where the first book left off. It’s one thing that the men made the decision to become a foursome, it is entirely another to actually be in a poly relationship. It was especially hard for Enar, who’s a born alpha, but always felt different. To fully feel the connection and be completely in sync with his men, first he had to accept himself. He struggled a lot to come to terms with his true nature, thankfully his men were there with him every step of the way.
Otherwise, all four men were in each other’s arms in some way, either just comforting each other or… yeah, going at it like crazy bunnies, but thankfully it didn’t feel too much.
Now we got the omegaverse and the shifter-world mixed up (not sure everyone would like that), but how it was explained by Lidon’s uncle and Grayson, a famous alpha writer, it made sense to me. We got a bit of wolf-history.
The mystery got a bigger role this time, but it’s still not over. I’m not sure what to expect from the third book, because I kinda feel like we got almost everything from these men, and I think I would prefer if the story would continue from the other foursome’s (or moresome?) POV, otherwise to me it would feel a bit overdone, and it wouldn’t be about the romance anymore, but about the conspiracy, but let’s hope the author will prove me wrong. On the other hand I loved seeing the mystery unfold from Palani’s point of view, he’s whip-smart. And I want to see the pregnancy too from… well, everyone’s POV.
4 star!! ❤️❤️ Enjoyed this sequel. Liked the world building of the wolf-shifter community and the changing dynamics in the MCs relationship. The background plot continues from the first book and is unresolved when the story ends. I guess it will unravel throughout the series while other characters find their mates in the upcoming books. Overall it’s becoming an interesting series and I’m sold. Highly recommended to fans of Omegaverse romances 👍🏻👍🏻
Nora Phoenix (for me) has taken Mpreg to a new level. This book was EXCELLENT. The story line was great, the characters interactions were great. I hate this it had to end. I didn't want to put this one down.
Alpha's Submission started right where Alpha's Sacrifice ended. Enar being unsure of where he fit in the dynamic of the foursome. Lidon (the Alpha), Vieno (the Omega) Palani (the Beta) and Enar the other Alpha but who has Beta tendencies. Enar is insecure with himself and will need his men to help him navigate through this. Things are difficult for our guys but with love 💘and a lot of hot 🔥sex things have worked out for them, so far. But they still have a long way to go.
Ms. Phoenix has given us a world 🌎 that is unlike any other shifter world that I myself have read. I love 💘💘💘 the way the story in moving forward and what I can say with certainty that book three will be the climax of the series.
DNF 48% - Not really feeling this foursome right now. I’m intrigued by the mystery side of things and the storyline with the Melloni gene so I might come back to this series but giving it a rest. I wish we had some character development for Vieno as currently he is annoying the hell out of me with his whingyness and getting all the attention lavished on him while my fave guy Enar is feeling left out. Things are getting interesting with the wolf shifter legacy thing but also so many other characters are on the scene, along with all the POV’s, everything feels to be spread a little too thin. I’m eager to start a new release and my brain has unfortunately already checked out on this one.
2,5 stars. I really liked the first book but this one felt rushed and cliché on so many levels. I got tired of reading yet again that they all had sex all the time and it was amazing and they could not get enough of each other. I mean, we get it. And I get it is a "steamy book" but there is such a thing as useless, repetitive sex scenes and I feel like at least half of the scenes of these books could have been excluded. Not to mention the endless mentions of all the sex they had outside those scenes. It felt especially frustrating since the rest of the plot was barely explored through rushed passages that were loaded with changes and sub-stories. We got exposed to so many new characters in one book and so many brutal changes in the plot. It was too much and too rushed for one book. It would have been better for the story to progress at a slower space and for the author to spend more time on the plot and on the development of characters rather than on sex scenes that felt too repetitive after 50 pages. The only part I really liked was the development of the relationship between Palani and Enar. The author did spend time here to explore their psyché and troubles and it felt real. Not like the falling of Lidon for Enar and Palani that felt half-assed since all Lidon ever talks about is Vieno (who, incidentaly, fell into the whinny category in this book when he was such a touching character in the first book). This may seem harsh but I was so happy to start the second book and I feel cheated.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was both interesting yet somewhat confusing and convoluted? I mean, it felt like too many threads being pulled at different directions. There’s the polyamory story between the 4 men. Then there’s the wolf shifter history. Then there’s one overarching conspiracy that links all that together.
Normally I’d be all over that and I’ll admit it’s a clever plot. But the execution didn’t feel too smooth to me. Instead of everything tying together nicely, it felt a little clunky.
And it’s also a little repetitive. Yes, I get that the title says alpha’s submission so it would generally be about Enar’s insecurities. But gosh, he goes through the issues once, settles it. Then it flares again later and has it sorted. And then it flares again and again and again... 🤦🏻♀️
Gah.... not sure if the overarching storyline is enough to keep my interest in this series...🤔 I’m still undecided...
I skimmed most of this one so I’m not rating it. I like some MMM but this MMMM was just too much. Especially since one of them didn’t think he fit in and kept having to be reassured. Got on my nerves.
Alpha's Submission follows straight on from where Alpha's Sacrifice left off. The four men coming together beautifully. There is no jealousy between them at all. The bonds between them all strengthening. The communication between them is open about how the foursome will work, although Enar is struggling with insecurity about where/how he fits in. This in turn causes concern for Lidon, trying to decide between his wants and Enar's needs. "You belong with us, Doc, you know you do. You're a part of what makes us work, what makes us whole." It's Palani who grows closest to Enar first, breaking down his walls. "Somehow he'd found the key to Enar's heart, to his emotions, to his real self." Palani is still chasing leads on Excellon, the bribes and the Melloni gene. We learn a lot more about these things as Palani's investigations intensify. Things begin to heat up - and not just in the bedroom. The investigation take a dangerous turn for all. This encourages Lidon to build and strengthen his pack. It finished with a HFN. I look forward to the next book, seeing how the new characters build their relationship as well as seeing more of Vieno, Palani, Lidon & Enar.
After devouring the first, what I found a slight hindrance became a real issue for me, where I was unsure if I could finish the novel. I ended up skipping scenes due to not enjoying one of the MCs.
Veino. I found him insufferable due to how infantilized he was on the pages, how the men treated him (yet said omegas were equals) The ass-kissing, enabling drove me bonkers. He was not a child, so it came off as creepy, in a novel where omegas had few rights but advocates were fighting to change that. With the mentality of a toddler, I hate to say I wouldn't want him making life choices either.
I adored the other relationship dynamics on the whole & between individuals. I found it narcissistic & selfish on Veino's part. What should come off as selfless, came off as "if I whine enough, I'll get my way. I'm the center of their universe but pity woe-is-me" instead of a productive member of their foursome. The only problem, the other 3 were the issue, treating him as if he were more important, which threw the dynamic out of whack.
Infantilizing a character while telling he is strong & capable gives a whiplash effect.
Re-read February 2024 This is definitely not a standalone. And it's not even a complete story because the investigation continues into the omegas and their heats. I'm loving the audiobooks. Onto #3. ***********************************
Original Review The love between the four men grows even stronger. I'm happy to see that Lidon is increasing the size of his pack and the size of his ranch. The mystery surrounding the gene and the medical companies continues to get deeper and more dangerous. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.
A great sequel! This series isn't nearly as focused on sex as you'd think it would be. In fact, we spend a lot of this book trying to unravel the corruption that Palani is trying to expose.
That being said, there was plenty of emotional growth and relationship development in this book. The foursome is learning how to be a foursome: what that entails, how they all fit together, what that means for their futures. We find out some wild shit about Lidon and I'm interested to see where that goes in the rest of the series.
One thing in particular that I think this series excels at is giving equal weight and attention to each of the four main characters. They all feel very distinct from one another and no one feels left out or forgettable. It's beautiful to see the individual relationships within the foursome and how that ties them together as a whole.
I'm excited to see where the rest of the series goes as we meet new couples, but I hope that we get to see these four plenty!
Well, the author has definitely got the title of her series spot on...it and the guys ARE irresistibly addictive!! They're adorable, hot and horny [well, duh!!] and the special love, care and attention they give to each other...and other members of their newly formed pack....awesome. One budding true Alpha, one super sweet true Omega and two brilliant Betas [I 💜💛💙 Palani and Enar]. I'm LOVING every minute of these reads 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.
Wow. Nora Phoenix is an absolute master storyteller. This world is so complex and intriguing and unique, and I love every single thing about it. Even the things that make me feel stabby on behalf of the characters. Before I get into my review, I want to note that this book absolutely cannot be read as a standalone. Read the first book guys, seriously. This is a direct sequel and everything will be much more satisfying and make more sense that way.
I enjoy all of these characters in different ways. Lidon is a strong, cocky, but tender and caring alpha that I love more and more as I get to know him better. Vieno is a sweet and nurturing omega (though there was one moment I was actually really bothered by something he did, even if the other characters were not.. but that's all I will say about that for now). But for me, Palani and Enar are the real stars of the series so far. I adore everything about them. Palani is a strong, brilliant beta with an astute, sharp mind. He is fun, snarky, caring, and so loving, with a heart of gold. He is also the steady one (except for one teeny tiny moment - you'll see). I have loved Palani from the second we met him in the first book, and every time he is on page I fall in love with him more. And Enar? Gods, where do I even start with how I feel about Enar? He is such a wonderful man, so giving of himself and his time, but deep down he is struggling so intensely with figuring out who he really is and reconciling that with his life and the outside world that it is affecting everything in his life... and not knowing his own value and his place in the world is causing him to keep the other men at arm's length, even when all he longs to do is pull them closer and stay with them forever. His struggle with his identity is really hard to read in terms of emotion (right in the feels, guys), but it is notably well-written and poignant. He and Palani completely stole my heart in this book. These four men are trying to find their way forward together in a world that seems to be working against them at every step. There are so many outside influences affecting them, but some come from the characters themselves as well. Enar, especially, has a hard time believing in himself and that Palani, Lidon, and Vieno want him with them. He cannot see his own value, and it broke my heart over and over and over again.
It is not an easy road for these men.. in fact it seemed almost impossible at times that they would be able to find their way through all the internal and external obstacles. But find their way they do, and in the end this foursome (as well as all of the individual pairings within it) was crafted carefully and realistically. There is no easy fix and no instalove in the way it is so often used in the romance genre (and especially in omegaverse books). Real, honest communication and effort and growth are needed from all four men for their relationship to work as a whole, but somehow Nora was able to meticulously weave them together into a happy, healthy, functional foursome ready to take on the world. Bravo, Ms. Phoenix.
And GUYS. This book is SO sexy. I could have used a spray bottle full of ice water at times. HOT. HOT. HOT. Okay, I think I made my point there.. but really. HOT.
Aside from the romance, the ongoing plot regarding the Melloni gene and the drug companies and dirty cops continued in this installment of the series. I am fascinated by the gene and evolutionary aspect of it, and couldn't put the book down. This is a masterfully executed plot in every way, and I cannot wait to see what happens next in this situation. I also loved learning more about Lidon's family history and am so excited to see him building his pack. The new characters we meet in this book made me impatient for their stories.. although one of them really, really p*ssed me off at one point.. so much so that I wanted to pluck him right off the page and give him a piece of my mind before kicking him off the ranch. But I digress.
As you can probably tell, I have SO MANY FEELINGS about this book and this series.. 5 stars might not be enough for it, and I am dying for more already!
Having read and enjoyed the first, I was pleased that this just carried the story on seamlessly. Our four men, originally two couples have joined as a foursome when circumstance forced Lidon(an Alpha) to meet Vieno(an Omega). They were a fated pair but Palani was also found to be mated to Vieno. In this story, Enar is still struggling to see how he fits in this foursome and feels like a spare wheel. He is also struggling with his sexuality and doesn't feel he fits the box society has put him in. The pack keeps growing as more join and Palani's research uncovers more questions than answers. The mystery isn't solved by the end of the book but as the next story focuses on a different grouping I hope we still get glimpses of Lidon's group. A good omegaverse story. 4 stars
I have no idea what's going on here but the system won't let me rate this higher than three stars. This is ridiculously stupid and clearly an error on both my Kindle and the Amazon connection. This is definitely a five star read for me and I will attempt to amend my review accordingly once at a PC.
*ETA I can fix the rating on the Goodreads app on my phone but not on my Kindle.
This is beyond hot, the whole series is incredibly passionate but still contains some exceptional world building and plotting.
In this follow up to Alpha's Sacrifice, Nora continues to fill in the history and back story of her omegaverse with new revelations about the investigations Palani and Lidon were involved in.
The dynamic between all four men is stabilisating and lordy do they get it on in this one :)
It never feels gratuitous though, it's all part of the bonding process they're going through as the uncover more about Lidon's family's special history.
More characters are brought in with this one too but again, it's never overwhelming and I'm dying to find out more about Enar's siblings and Grayson.
I felt like book 1 and 2 should have combined to be 1 book. I felt there were a lot of time gaps which is ok but everything seemed to fade away and then it was 2 weeks later. I would have liked for the relationships to make a bit more sense- I'm still not really sure where Enar fits in. I think maybe Vieno and Lidon together and palani and Enar together made more sense. This is still kind of cliffhangery with the main storyline not resolved.
