I picked up a copy from Amazon last week and overall enjoyed the book! I like the contrast between the character's chapters and the story didn't disappoint. I found April to be a bit whiny at times but really liked Rachel's character.

The conversation between April and her mum was written really well and I got quite emotional reading it.

Good easy read for fans of the Lesbian fiction genre!

Questionably uplifting

I just got back from being treated for whiplash. On and off. On and off. Even chapters it's on, odd chapters it's off. But aside from that it's not bad. Just not what the blurb says: "The book attempts to deal with discovering your sexuality and coming out to friends and family in an uplifting way." Uplifting? Lies. It promised a summer read, which this is not.
