“Twisted in Time by Ray Caragher and Deb Laubach is not your average Romance Novel. It has all the right ingredients of the genre, including some very steamy hot and romantic sex. It also has a beautifully told story that takes the reader into separate worlds and places in time. The characters here are believable and consistent throughout. And we find ourselves grounded in every scene by the authors’ attention to detail and use of all the senses to place us in the moment. This is a page-turner. I can’t wait for the next one…” —Michele, MFA Creative Writing ★★★★★

"A great book and very sensually written. If you like a recipe of a well written book, with a little erotica mixed in, sprinkle in mystery and discovering past lives, add a pinch of a love story, then you've found your next book." —Eric Radzwill ★★★★★

"I absolutely loved this book. The chracters and the story line is captivating. The love story of these two soul mates is hot sexy and heartwarming. The author weaved the two lives together with the finality and realization that makes you think about new possibilities while enjoying a love story of all love stories. I very rarely review books because I think the enjoyment of a book is very subjective - what appeals to me may well not appeal to someone else, and vice versa. The premise of this book interested me, 'soulmates' meeting again and again in different times through history. However the characterisation was poor and the dialogue repetitive and banal, but the last straw was a lack of basic research. An American airman was in a pub in England in 1944 and was charged £1 for a pint of beer. In 1944 the average weekly wage for a working man was about £5. It was far less for a woman - thank goodness we now have the Equal Pay Act! Nobody could afford to pay 1/5th of their weekly wage for a pint of beer. In 1944 the exchange rate was 4 US dollars to the pound. American GI's were known to be generous with their cash, but I am sure they would be unhappy to be asked 4 dollars for a pint. The actual price of a pint in 1944 was about 1 shilling and there were 20 shillings in a pound. The airman should have been served 20 pints of beer for his pound. That would be some hangover. I know these facts because I'm British, interested in social history and my parents lived through this time. However, a simple click on Google was enough to verify it. All I can say to the authors is, don't insult your readers. If you are going to write about a time and place that you are not familiar with then it is prudent to do some research. It is both foolish and arrogant not to do so.
A better name would be "Sex obsessed alcoholics who have a bodily fluid fetish" but that would probably be hard to fit on the cover. Seriously, if you are squeamish about bodily fluids at all, this is probably not the book for you.

This book was unnecessarily obcene! I could only read a few pages and the obscenities' got boring. It might have been a good story line but I just could not reach it. If I could give it zero stares I would. TRASH!!! Cindy S.
Yeah so this was just not what I was expecting. I was thinking epic romance novel, but what I got what weird erotica. The hero slept with 5 different women in the space of seven short chapters - while he was still not divorced and sort of hung up on the heroine - I think. Not sure because most of the chapters were about the sex, not the story.
Just couldn’t take it so I’m bailing...
I’m not rating it since I really didn’t read enough of the book but it was not trending well
Still this in on Kindle Unlimited, so if you’re looking for pure erotica this may work ... 🤷♀️
