From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author R.G. Alexander Can you be Fearless? Rory Finn used to have a sinful reputation and a fetish for a certain kind of man–the straighter the better. But since the Mistletoe Meltdown, he’s turned over a new leaf…just in time for his two best friends to start breaking one of the few rules they had–with each other. The past haunts him, but if he can find the courage to trust them with his heart, and his secrets, he can have the kind of love he’s always needed…from the two people he’s always craved.
Warning:This book has male/male/male nookie. (Gay for you, Pan for you, Bi for you, Try for you.) That’s right, three sexy guys, nerdy references, vampire love triangle obsessions and a game of X-rated trivia that everybody wins. I won’t bother listing all the things they do to each other. If you’ve read the warning to this point and you know the Finn Factor series at all? You can probably guess. *some sensitive elements-past trauma*

***** I have loved this series, and it keeps me totally absorbed in these characters. The Finns are growing and expanding by leaps and bounds ! This unique family never has a dull moment. Rory has loved straight David since childhood, and is still in love with him. Rig, our Italian from a big family, a great cook, loves Rory. These men all get along together. There has been some changes and discoveries, and Rory is spinning. He wants both men, and David and Rig want the same thing. They have all fallen for each other, but no ménage action yet.
Friends step in, arrangements are made and a set-up comes into play. Wow, what a hot night of sex for our trio. They are super, off the charts hot and sexy. Rory feels like he died and went to heaven. It's his fantasy come to life. His gorgeous, strong, sexy men that he loves are magnificent.
We get acceptance, passion, and a three-way of true and lasting love. Rory's soulless, mean grandpa, who made his early life miserable, and continues to insult and demean Rory, has a stroke. The family heads to the hospital, where mean grandpa, yells at Rory, slurred speech, and yells more obscenities and slurs at him. Finally this hate from grandpa is witnessed and the truth is revealed as to the degree of meanness Rory has put up with. Other facts are then told.
Rory's men shower him with love, care, and strength. When the facts are revealed to the family, of the horrendous things grandpa had done to Rory, they are all raging mad. Why hadn't Rory told anyone? It is so sad. Rory has had a therapist now as an adult, who has helped him. Rory discovers just how deeply he is loved. This boisterous group of family combinations are always amazing.
This series has serious topics as well as many laughs, and we love them all more and more. A marvelous story ! Highly recommended. ENJOY !
This had the makings of a good story, if it didn't shift from the usual sex-centric plots of the prior books into a very serious plot line that was rushed and shortchanged. It was also kind of confusing as it included characters that appeared only briefly or in the background before. Then there was the shifting POV's of Rory and David but not Rig, the other member of this trio. Why was his voice less important? It made him seem less important to the three part relationship too.
The story also seemed to start in the middle. I'd have rather seen more of the history of these long-time friends, rather than short descriptions of it wedged into the narrative. It didn't give me enough sense of how close they were supposed to be. Worst of all, there wasn't much emotion in the sex. Or maybe I feel that way because I was distracted trying to remember who the hell belonged to some of the names and which brother was which.
I'm still giving it three stars because it did have just slightly more substance than the previous books I read. I've missed a couple because I don't read books with girly parts anymore. Perhaps some of my questions were answered there but I wish the author did some better work including synopses in the narrative. I also added the third star for at least throwing some therapy for Rory in there. I wasn't going to read more of this series but I was tempted by the threesome. Can't truly recommend it unless you're a fan of the series.
Let's face it, Rory ending up in a hot sandwich between two attractive men isn't that big of a surprise. One of them thinks he's been straight his entire life? Rory made his life conquering them. Makes sense now, doesn't it?
But even knowing Solomon Senior has been a tough SOB doesn't make it any less astonishing that Rory has taken the brunt of his anger and homophobia his entire life.
More than just giving him his happy ever after, this story humanises promiscuous Finn who never takes life seriously and has a mind dirty enough to shame Chuck Bass (don't mind me, just have been re-watching Gossip Girl while reading). It gives us more in-depth knowledge of Rory gives depth to a character that has been portrayed in previous books as quite shallow and uninteresting, even if shocking.
This is not a proper threesome love story to me. This is a story about 3 bff's and two of them are in love with the same guy and it seems like he's only in love with one of them. Sure they all 3 love each as friends but there is something missing throughout this whole book, the threesome connection individually and together. This book is way too short to pull off the time it takes to develop that. The 3 of them are together but it doesn't feel like a love story. It was just OK for me.
This series is my guilty pleasure, it doesn't matter what happens or if i barely remember half of the characters, every time there's a new one out I have to read it and I enjoy it.
I dont't always connect with the characters or stories but the stories overall are entertaining, in this one what bothered me is that we only had two POV's and the third one only in the last chapter, it didn't felt fair plus for almost 40% of the story the three were not in the same place and the book is so short that I wanted more time with the three of them. Lastly, there were a few events that would been so interesting to explore deeply but the book is so short that they were barely mentioned.
I want younger's book so bad though, so I'm definitely sticking to the series until we get there.
I love this series - these Finn’s are something else ! This focus was on Rory, who for all his bravado and wit was really a victim of physical and emotional abuse. This broke my heart. The angst in this one was strong at times, with Rory pushing David & Rig away - the two loves of his life, so he could protect his heart from any hurt. However, love and friendship prevails and the Finn family and friends were out in force. Anyone would wish to have such great friends ❤️
MMM is my guilty pleasure and this book had chemistry, sweetness, hawtness and the feelz between the three men. But it's a Finn Factor book so that's kind of expected.
After their big kiss there's been a long estrangement between Rory and his straight best friend David, and the tension between Rory and his other best friend, Rig, skyrockets when Rory finds out Rig and David have recently fooled around. This sets the scene for the three long time friends to finally all become lovers.
But Rory is complicated. He's been hurt badly, both physically and emotionally, and he's tucked it all away inside so no one really knows him. Not even his best friends. And it all comes to a head.
I enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down. And despite Rory's pain this was way less angsty than I would have thought. What I was a little disappointed in was that we didn't get more of these three together, working their relationship and their feelings out. I know they've been friends for years but I really love reading the relationship stuff and there wasn't a lot of it. Maybe it's because there's already a huge amount of unconditional love between them already. Either way, they were good together and the sex was lovely/hot.
This book is relatively short, and while it's all 3 MC POV, it's very much focused on Rory and his issues and sort of skirted around Rig and David. But I loved how this was set 12ish months after Owen and Jeremy's wedding so we get a little glimpse of all the Finn's and how they've been going.
This is what you expect only way better. Three best friends. Secret love between them. Gay for you, and hot and sexy scenes. All with some serious family drama thrown in. This is why I get R. G. Alexander's books. a pleasure to read from begining to end. Second read review One thing I love about R.G. Alexander’s work is how you get a blend of what makes a story great. You get characters with real depth, the love story we want, hot sexy scenes, and the slow revealing of what intrigues us along the way. And I have to say it. Those Finns sure have their secrets. A big beautiful family filled with lots of love, too. Now to dig into the next one.
WOO HOO!!! Another sexy, H.O.T. Finn Factor triad, where we get more bookends to drool over. I absolutely love, love, loved this story. This story was one of the toughest. The supporting, loving characters of David and Rig, made this story about Rory beautiful and touching. This Finn Factor Series is about family dynamics and I'm glad that the same great attention to detail is still going strong. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES!!!!!
I can’t figure out why I’m having such a love/hate relationship with this author’s books. I really enjoy the books until the couples start having sex. It’s like zero to sixty in a matter of seconds. “I don’t want to talk about. I don’t want to lose you. Let me suck your cock” I'm paraphrasing 🤷🏽♀️ It’s enough to give me whiplash. Of course, it hasn’t stopped me from reading them, so...
So… I’m super picky about menage, threesomes, thrupples… whatever you want to call them. And as book 7 began I was worried this wasn’t gonna work for me.
You see I don’t like when one person is left out and when Rory is told something big by his two best friends that’s is exactly how I thought this story was gonna go.
I was wrong.
This was far and away the best MMM book I’ve read to date. The spice, the emotional connection, the angst and story arc was sheer perfection.
I found it interesting that while there were 3 MMC’s, only two narrated but it works wonderfully. Even though Rig didn’t narrate (well until the epilogue) he was such an open book it didn’t feel like you were missing out.
Even though I adore Rig and David, Rory was the star of the show. Goddam he broke my heart and I just wanted to cuddle him and never let go.
As if the Finn family wasn’t enough, we added even more wonderful characters. David’s sister and wife, Rig’s nonna and Walter, Rory’s EMT partner. This series just has the best cast of characters.
I’m extremely impatient to get to Younger’s book. I’m wondering if I can talk Cass, my BR partner in crime into continuing before next weekend.
Die drei Hauptfiguren quasseln ein bisschen zu viel mit anderen, also Freunden und Familie, als miteinander. Aber wenn sie dann mal gemeinsame Auftritte hatten, wurde es schon hot, hot, hot.
Probably a bit of a harsh rating. Maybe a 3.5 is better suited. There was just so much telling of the history and telling of how characters felt way back when. Also only to have David and Rory's POV (until the epilogue) made Rig feel not as important, or something... Honestly the threesome was done pretty well, mostly because it was all so easy for them. Rory's past abuse was also extremely glossed over, it felt like an unnecessary factor of his history.
5 stars all around for Rory, Tweedlehot, and Tweedlehotter. An emotional roller-coaster to the end. If only we all had such friends and family as the Finns. I can't wait for the next Finn Again!
I didn't like this book as much as the previous one. In every past book I fell in love with the characters, or at least with most of them, and their relationships, their weddings, their Family. The Finns are like a drug, so damn addictive because of their pureness, their love and support for each other. I was truly envy and glad I got to know them. But, I hate to tell you this. I didn't like this menage, 'cause for me it was kind of too plain. I didn't feel the connection between them. And I was a bit lost 'cause they three were basically talking the same way. And I don't like that at all. When it comes to a relationship, I think it is better when the people involved are different in some ways, because that's how they complement each other. One has what the other is missing. Also, weren't they supposed to be 5 brothers? Solomon, Brady, Noah, Wyatt and Rory? So who the hell was James? Or am I missing something? Anyways, I still love the Finns so fucking much. But this book wasn't just for me.
I'm still waiting for the wedding of Brady and Ken!
Also in den letzten Büchern.
This is one of the reasons that menage relationships rarely work for me - it seems a lot of times like one of the three just doesn't fit in as well and in this case it was definite. I actually felt sorry for Rig in this book as it seemed that he was the odd man out. You have 3 best friends and two of them are in love with the same guy but that guy seemed like he was only in love with one of the guys. I never felt like Rig was an essential part of the romance and it all happened way to fast so there wasn't enough relationship development.
If you have never read these books before then what are you waiting for. These books are brilliant, well thought out stories, lots of cute Irish men and women, plenty of drama and lots of down and dirty sex.
This book is about Rory Finn who is the youngest son to Solomon snr. Rory has secrets, bad soul destroying secrets that prevent him from forming lasting relationships that is until David and Rig his two best friends. Can the two men persuade Rory that he is worth loving and when Rory's secrets come out can the three men form a lasting loving relationship. Recommended
This is Rory's story, and I felt so sorry for the poor guy. He had a very toxic relationship with his horrible excuse of a father, but luckily the rest of his family was there for him when he needed them. I was not crazy about the menage, but then I don't think a lot of authors can nail the complexity of a relationship between three people. Aside from a few niggles, this was a worthy book in one of my favourite series.
I would recommend to everyone this whole series is to awesome. Just finished this book and I think will go ahead and read again. I give this 5 stars because I love them all. It makes you feel like your in their world or you wish you were. Can't wait for next book you always surprise me.
Rory's story is good but too short. Would have loved more of him and his guys. That said, it was a good interlude in the series and sets it up well for the next story, Younger's maybe? I highly recommend the series.
This story reads different from the other books in the series, it's goes deeper into sensitive topics that might be triggers for some . However, story it's engaging , sexually explicit and descriptive and entertaining.
Attempting to read this as a stand-alone didn’t work. Wish it came with more detailed content warnings. Great love scenes but way too many references and characters to keep track of. Very confusing plot.
By all means, grab a tissue and hop aboard Finn Club. I thought this was an incredibly moving story about family, secrets and love. M/M/M, of course! Why not. *Sigh*.....❤ MUST READ!!!
