I loved this book and I have a feeling that my review might bore some people but I didn’t want to use spoilers and ruin it for anyone. This story, from the first page until the last is brilliantly written, the characters are interesting and I need to know more,I can’t wait for the next book, I highly recommend this, you won’t be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this book.
Delightful, captivating, complex plot that leaves you on an incredible cliffhanger. I can't wait for the sequel!! I loved the characters and the depth of the plot, and the way you feel Lucy's voice throughout.
An interesting read. The characters were ok, the plot was ok, the writing and editing were ok. Overall it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either. The characters definitely need development, they aren’t realistically fleshed out and their motivations and emotions don’t read as true. The story is bogged down and tedious almost the entire book and the end was over before it really began. There is potential here, but without a thorough reworking its not a series I’m invested in continuing. I received a complimentary copy from VRO in return for an honest review.
Great book, I don’t often read fiction but this book was so captivating that it allowed me to picture the parts of the book play out. Which I believe is a sign of a great book. Anyone who is into fiction, I would highly recommend this book.
