Interesting ideas

The author provides some background information on some of the techniques and many links to videos further demonstrating their use. Also, some links and ideas where some items could be found.

Less than 50 pages bu concise with many illustrations.

One of the main things I came away with is "always be aware of your situation and what might be available in the event you need to defend yourself."

insightful, raw, and powerful

What an amazing read! No nonsense, practical instruction. If you live or work in an environment that does not allow concealed carry of a firearm or are prohibited from owning a firearm for whatever reason, or you simply don’t feel comfortable with firearms, then this book is a must have. Check your local laws first, and train, train, train.

Good addition to a library of Darrin Book's books

This is a good addition to a library of Darrin Book's books. Forethought is always better than hindsight. Preparation is better than regret.

Impromptu weapons

I really enjoyed reading this book. It opened my eyes to every day devices and tools that can be used as weapons in a pinch. This book has aided my ability to think while studying Krav Maga.

Quick read

This is a quick read with good information. However, couldn’t get the downloads to work. Especially good for newcomers to self defense options

Interesting read but still needs polishing

This feels more like a list of potential weapons to use instead of a useful instructional book. Needs more in-depth chapters.

Basic stuff

Good for the not train and the one that needs some imagination in visualizing that almost any object could be used as a weapon.

Food for thought

I was aware of some of this but book tries to give a comprehensive list of improvised and deliberately crafted weapons.
