The Complete Tempest Rockstar Series

Rate this book
Six bestselling full length novels.

Your all access backstage pass to the world's most dysfunctional rock band.

Tempest rocking.

Tempest rolling.

Tempest raging out of control.

The complete series includes all six books boxed together digitally for the first time ever. Over 1200 pages. It also includes a bonus excerpt of The Right Man.

IRRESISTIBLE REFRAIN

Two years ago everything changed for the remaining members of the Seattle rock band Tempest.

Two years is a long time.

Too long to keep on remembering.

Not nearly long enough to forget.

In trouble with nowhere else to go songstress Lace Lowell seeks refuge with the band during their stop in New York City. It's a risky move for her because they are both there, two impossibly good looking men whose lives are inseparably entwined with hers. One who bruised her heart and one who smashed it into pieces.

ENTICING INTERLUDE

To the talented vocalist Justin Jones, love is merely a game that he plays by his own rules.

But to Bridget Dubois, love and heartache are one and the same.

Broken too many times before, the delicate beauty keeps her emotions carefully concealed. Bridget has her own set of rigid rules when it comes to men. She prefers to avoid them altogether, especially dangerously seductive auburn haired emerald eyed players like Justin.

CAPTIVATING BRIDGE

Warren "War" Jinkins is that guy.

The bad one.

Tempest's ex front man, an arrogant rock god.

The only thing larger than his ego is his capacity for self-destruction.

His bad attitude has cost him. His woman. His best friend. His band. Everything.

Shaina Bentley is that girl.

The good one.

Hollywood's pink candy-coated sweetheart.

The star of Pinky Swear, television's top rated teen show.

He's a one man island. She's a fragile captive soul.

Is love a current too dangerous to cross or will it be the bridge that brings them together?

RELENTLESS RHYTHM

The one she really wants is out of reach.

The one he really needs is already taken.

Dizzy Lowell, rhythm man for the rising rock band Tempest is a wizard on the guitar and a wonder with women. But the hookup specialist hides his emotional scars beneath his suave exterior. He never lets anyone truly touch him until he meets April Reynolds, the confident bartender of the Diamond Mine.

TEMPTING TEMPO

Sager Reed the strong and silent bassist for the rock band Tempest is well acquainted with loss. The thoughtful tattoos he designs only hint at his turbulent youth. He buries his guilt about it deeply within his troubled heart.

Melinda T. Belle is the daughter of a dysfunctional rock legend. Avoiding emotional entanglement, she has turned her back on nearly everyone and everything she has ever known. Alone, she tries desperately to find fulfillment in the one dream she has left, competitive skiing.

Can Sager overcome his dark past?

Will Melinda realize her worth?

Will they both see that love is only thing that really matters?

SCANDALOUS BEAT

A rock star. A stripper. Can a hookup lead to a happily ever after?

BONUS CONTENT:

THE RIGHT MAN

All rockstar genre readers need to get their hands on this collection!
Refrain -Tempest Book 1
I love nothing more than conflict within a band and Bryan & War have that in spades
Enticing Interlude - Tempest Book 2
Justin has become the new lead singer after the conflict from book 1 - I really didn't think he fit in but the love story, especially with Bridget's son is sweet
Captivating Bridge - Tempest Book 3
This is the one that I was waiting for - Warren "War" Jenks was such a complex a-hole but I loved him. From his self-destructive behavior, to his fateful meeting with Shania, this book has all the feels.
Relentless Rhythm - Tempest Book 4
Dizzy has been hiding behind his manwhore ways but sees something in April the bartender from Diamond Mine, while they are a sizzling couple - the drama was a bit much for me but love prevails.
Tempting Tempo - Tempest Book 5
This book has a lot going on. Melinda "Blue" Belle has been on everyone's shitz list since the last book everyone except Sager Reed.
Sager had a really bad painful past and the only person he felt a connection to other than his band and family by choice was Blue but she didn't think she was good enough for a guy like Sager with her own issues wearing at her she preferred no strings hook ups. Blue can't resist Sager when she sees him and Sager isn't giving her a chance to run again but her career choice of being a downhill skier makes it difficult for them to be together. When a tragic event occurs Belle and Sager have to decide if love is enough.
Sager is a sweetheart I loved him from book one. There are interesting happenings in this book revolving around War, Bryan, Lace and even Mary. A great addition to this series it can be a standalone but I recommend reading them in order
This book touches on a very serious subject and Ms Mankin is to be commended on her handling of it and her invaluable information provided at the end of the book

Scandalous Beat - Book 6
This long awaited final book in the Tempest Series is definitely the icing of this particular cake. Like the previous books, this couple is far from perfect, but perfect for each other. Loads of obstacles from early on have tried to keep the charismatic Juaquin and the misunderstood Miriam, sister of the bands guitarist from being together and through the years, the obstacles became far worse. But when they see each other again and secrets are reveled, there is no stopping Juaquin from getting what he always wanted. Great to revisit the band and their significant others, plus some new supporting characters that brought much to this story. There was one person missing from the story as a major hurdle was resolved, however I can hope this person gets her own story someday. Everyone of these books had an important message delivered in such a way that is never preachy, but always enlightening. I hope this isn't the end of the Tempest Family.

Review by Erin:

This series is fantastic!!! Each story is it's own emotional roller coaster. All of them are packed full of all the feels. Each story is chock full of drama and obstacles for each character to overcome. Drugs, insecurities, abuse, depression, injuries, and crime lords. Oh my! I could not put it down. I fell in love with each set of characters, and the supporting characters too. I dare anyone to read this collection and not love it. It's impossible!

Fantastic Rock Romance!!

Michelle Mankin has become my go-to author for rock romance because she knows how deliver everything I love in this genre with the sexy bad boy rockers and stories that highlight each band member.

You are lucky to get this box set without having to wait for the next book to come out because believe me you will want to devour this series.

Wow, what an emotional roller coaster! Feel like my emotions have been shredded in a mincer! Not that I’m complaining...the boys of Tempest and their love interests are not something I would want to have missed! I’m new to Michelle Mankin. I read the prequel to the Tempest Rockstars and I couldn’t wait to see what happened between Lace, Bryan and War. I wasn’t disappointed and was pleasantly surprised with all the other books in the series.

Warning: these books all take a theme, drug abuse, domestic violence, anorexia to name but three. They are not light hearted reads, but they are antsy, gripping and addictive. I will admit I haven’t been able to read them back to back, I’ve had to take some lighter reading breaks in between, but I have wanted to come back and have for all 6 full length books. All have a HEA, just be prepared to have your heart ripped out, stomped on, before it’s put back together!
In this book you get
Lace and Bryan’s story
Justin’s story
Wars story.
Sager’s story
King’s story
If you love hardened Rockstars, from the wrong side of town, who have survived their upbringing and need the love of the right woman to tame them, then this series is for you. The Tempest boys and their women help mend each other’s damaged and jaded hearts.

So, I have officially read all six books. Plus the first one. I have to say that although I enjoyed the entire series, I'm still hung up on that first book, and I'm also hung up on the absolute disaster of a cover for dizzy's book . all the other books had a cover that represented the individual that the book was about . however I find that an extreme disservice was done to dizzy. That cover had nothing to do with him. Not even a character from the book. I could have created a better book cover for you than that . my sl character has white and black hair. I could have made you a cover with him. other than that I enjoyed the series . once I got past that first book, the one that was set in past tense, driving me nuts, I found it hilarious that the last book someone actually uses the term past tense period and I had to laugh because I wondered if someone else had mentioned the first book to the author and she had just thrown that in as a big old f you to anyone who noticed the error in the first book. It was great series. and don't get me wrong I am 100% in support of all authors. You all have amazing gump shaw. way to go.

i probably should have taken a break in the middle. 6 books straight is a lot, but dang the first few were sooo good. Tempest, the band, sounds so delicious.

But they got a tiny bit repetitive after book 3. Hard rocker dude grown up in a tough home environment, finds a girl who also had a tough life, neither think they're good enough for the other. On their own, they were good stories. So, if you get this set, do yourself a favor and take a break after book 3. cleanse the palette, if you will, before you continue.

On the all UP side, each book has a health issue and the last few pages talk about that issue - what it looks like, where to get help, how to help someone you think has it. It is subtle enough to be effective. And it's not graphic, but each theme makes itself known, so that its tastefully handled.

On the fence between 4 and 5 stars.

All six books are dual POV. They all have a good amount of sexy times, some more descriptive than others. The author included a page detailing some of her inspiration as fairy tales. I can see the similarities in some of the books but not so much in the others.
The first book took some time to get through because of all of the flashbacks but it still ended well. Book two was good but it made the hero of book three hard to like initially. Book four was also good but made the heroine of book five impossible to like until most of the way through. Book six wrapped up the series well. My biggest issue was the number of typos and missing end or beginning quotation marks. I also wish that the books had some humor to lighten all of the heavy topics. It’s not necessary to read the books in order but it does help.

Well surprised

I’d read the first book separately and struggled with it as it jumped back and forward in time between the two leads. Got engaged enough to want to read another book but found the 6 together for 99p. Well how glad am I that I found it as I enjoyed all the stories. The weakest being Melinda and Sagan. Her character was great previously and post in other books but her own story portrayed her negatively. Anyway that said it’s been an addictive read over the past 24 hours, yes read them all. They don’t read like young teens or early twenties as there is a maturity to them I liked. Highly recommend and worth the pennies spent.

Excellent Series!

I had a great week just now, doing almost everything with these six novels in front of my eyes. Now I can't decide which I liked the most. Sometimes, when I'm reading a series, I'll need a break and read some other book between two of the novels in the series. Not here. I loved every minute. Not only that, there were very few proofing errors and only the occasional edit I would have made. (I used to do both for a living so I'm definitely a nitpicker.) My highlights are the graceful passages that ring true for all of us.
The seriously rendered information after each novel is a very good idea and I pray it finds those who need it.

Rocking beautiful!

The complete series of the Tempest Rock Star was thrilling and emotional. I loved the story of each one of the friends that grew up together or became friends because of music. All the HEA were not always an easy romance but stories full of struggles, disappointments and fears. Very well developed stories. I appreciated the strong message at the end of each book that was associated with the problems presented.
It took me a while to read all of them but I’ll def miss the powerful Southside boys and their beautiful girls! Rock on Michelle!!

Love These Guys!

How can you go wrong with a great series like Tempest? Michelle Mankin’s best selling rocker romances will have you turning pages and begging for more.
Meet War, Dizzy, Sager, and Bullet, the sexy, hot, and tempting band members and the women who try to tame them.
And just when the reader sadly comes to the end of the series, Mankin has included a bonus book for more wonderful reading.

Evocative Yet Informative

Evocative yet informative, Ms Mankin yanked my emotions six ways to Sunday, but man oh man, what a ride. Gosh, in one book I went through a half a box of tissue! Talk about being put through a wringer. Overtly these are highly sensual novels but there is a strong thread in each novel that addresses some of life's most horrific and offensive current societal issues. Great story lines. GOOD STUFF!!

I can't really say enough about this set. 6 Books with 6 SUPER hot Rocker Guys...I think im in love! You'll be too. These Tempest guys really worm their way into your heart. They all try so hard to be these tough guys, and they are. In their own ways. But when you put them together ... on and off the stage, hmm mmm good!

This is a fantastic rock star series! There is no end of flawed characters and ups and downs. It's filled with lots of emotional angst and turbulent relationships, the kind you have to keep reading about to find out how the story ends. It also includes a bonus book which is also a great addition to this series!

I don't know how I was lucky enough to stumble onto this complete series but I am so glad that I did! WOW!! The men of Tempest have become some of my favorite rockers to date. Their women were strong and courageous and the men were loyal and strong too! Great read that I couldn't put down, spent many hours staying up too late wanting more of it!

I just finished the last book in this series and it was excellent like the rest. Every story had terrible human issues that happened to each of these kids but their rise above the issues was wonderful and they were successful and they each found strong beautiful women who took care and loved them. I loved each and every story and recommend this series highly.

Fractured fairytales with imperfect princesses

The six stories in this collection deal with many societal issues: heroin addiction, anorexia, sexual abuse, child abuse to name only a few. The author even provides resources at the end of each story. Compelling reading with thrilling romantic erotic plots.

Boy, Ms. Mankin sure knows how to wring every bit of angst out of you! Each of these books held its own brand of heartache, but still gets us to an HEA. Well done! And also well done for the information provided between books should any of the subjects hit too close to home.

The Complete Tempest Rockstar Series, Books 1-6 (Tempest #1-6) was a great set by Michelle Mankin. This box set consists of; Irresistible Refrain, Enticing Interlude, Captivating Bridge, Relentless Rhythm, Tempting Temp, and Scandalous Beat. These are 7 full length books that follow the band Tempest. The members just wanted to become rock stars and never expected to find love. I really enjoyed reading these books and can't wait to read more by Michelle Mankin.

OMG I killed an entire Saturday reading this boxset. I don’t know how I missed this series. I thought I had read everything by this author. I now realize I was mistaken. Eek.

These stories are about delicious rockers, yep one of my favorite troupes, and the intense, often challenging lives they lead. I thoroughly enjoyed the swoon worthy heros and heroines that had me laughing, crying, fanning myself and/or ticked off during my reading journey. To me, that is the sign of wonderful stories. If they make me feel an assortment of emotions, they are doing their job. Wink.

This author explores some heartbreaking social issues with unique storylines. What makes it original is the fractured fairytale elements such as Cinderella addicted to heroin, Snow White pregnant as a teen and then a single mother, Rapunzel with depression, Wendy and domestic violence, The Little Mermaid with anorexia, And a scandalous Belle to her beast, a queen to her king.

Lastly the creative way music is not only in the title but the flavor of these stories is completely impressive. The songs written into the stories includes lyrics which parallels the content poetically. So AMAZING.

So to recap. ROCKSTARS, NAUGHTY FAIRYTALES, and SOCIAL ISSUES are all part of the magic of this boxset. SO FLIPPING GOOD. WINK. Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO
