If it Weren't for You

This beautifully-written inspirational novel delves deep into the repercussions of revenge – how one callous act can change the lives of so many. How even through the pain of bitter truth and hardship, moral dilemma, law and ethics; the hearts of those damaged can overcome the difficulties and endure.

Eleanora cannot believe it – James is nothing what she’d expected to see after six years. He is poor, perhaps homeless. What went wrong?

Determined to help him – see where life diverted from its course, she finds herself following him, and at the same time, remembering the past as she connects each dot… But there is something, she feels, haunting her deep down. Something, she knows, she had done.

She is about to confront him for the first time when she hears him cry out in the stillness of the night. Before she knows it, she has become an eyewitness to an assault. James is battered unconscious on the ground. What could it mean?

Now, more than ever, she must help. Whatever James is involved in, the need to make amends is more profound. Because James wouldn’t be in this dire situation in the first place if it weren’t for her.

This wonderful novel is perfect for fans of Contemporary Romance, with plenty of Suspense, Mystery and Thriller! There is Courtroom Drama and Sleuthing, not to mention great boxing matches, all blended into the forever romantically gothic streets of London! An emotional, captivating read!

A surprisingly gripping tale of pain and moral beauty, and toss in some romance. We meet Eleanora, who invariably happens to see an old schoolmate living in what seems like a dismal state. His future seemed so promising, what happened? It is here the past comes back to haunt. Past sins exposed to reveal the genuine truth.

Current author Neamonitos weaves Eleanora’s tale with strong emotion, and suspense through flashbacks and then back to present time engrossing you deeper and deeper into Eleanora’s tale, making you need to know why Eleanora feels she ruined the guy's life, and must make amends with him. Neamonitos writes this all with a gifted, passionate emotion bringing Eleanora and her world to life. She is a character so real you can easily resonate with her. If It Weren’t For You... I highly recommend.

I read this novel a while back and I was amazed at the prose. Neamonitos' voice is truly unique in its ability to keep you hooked! No matter what hypothesis a story has, the way it is written is extremely important. Neamonitos' style reached out to me. It made me cry. It made me laugh, and above all it drove home something, I think, we've all done in our lives: regret our mistakes.
Thrilling! Mysterious! Emotional! Romantic! Everything you could want!
Can't wait for her next work!

If it Weren't for You by Dorothea Neamonitos is a very strong emotional novel, which can be perceived on different planes. On the one hand, this romantic story, but it is much more than just it, this is a story about how all our actions affect other people and ourselves. The story of Eleanora and her classmate is an exciting thriller. Most of all, I admire the way the author skillfully and skillfully combines all this into one exciting and unique story that will not leave anyone indifferent!

Dorothea is an author worth discovering, for many reasons. Born in the U.K. she has a great command of English, however, this comes second to her story-telling talent. Her imagination and story plot are commendable and complementary. By the way, this book is a MUST buy for Christmas.
