In the early 1980’s, a Grenadian boy travels from the mainland across the seas to spend his Easter vacation with his cousins in Bogles, Carriacou. He is surprised to find himself in a community that seems to have been frozen in time. But even in the middle of a tough dry season, he experiences and enjoys the deep traditions of the Sister Isle. Similarities and differences between the cultural practices of Grenada and Carriacou come to light as Daniel is quickly embraced by the people of Bogles.
