At the Altar #19

Maybe in Moab: The Four Corners

Rate this book
Sydney Harris is addicted to mail-order bride romances. She loves to read the book and watch the romance unfold with the couple already being married. So when she gets the opportunity to have a modern-day mail-order bride romance of her own, she jumps on it. She only asks that her new husband come to her, because she is a national park ranger, and she can’t relocate.

Jackson Pine has lost the only woman he’s ever loved to a hit-and-run accident. Even though it’s been two years since her death, he is living his life alone. He has no prospects of love and never expects to find it again. A chance meeting with a wacky purple-haired matchmaker has him considering that maybe love could be in his future. Before letting himself think about it too much, he commits to meeting someone at the altar. Can he ever get over his lost love and see the beautiful woman standing before him? Or will the possibilities life can bring him pass him by?

Lots of laughs in this story of love

Sydney has always loved being a park ranger. Her job didn’t leave much room for romance. Dr. Lachele finds her the perfect man. Jackson is afraid to love because it hurts to lose someone you love. These two are in for a fun ride getting to know each other and learning to live together.
Lots to laugh about and some great chemistry to keep things interesting.

So much fun!

The Best thing about this book? I was laughing out loud so much the dog left my lap! I love Kirsten Labour's books and this one did not disappoint. Grab this one and then make sure you read everything else she has written, unless you are already a fan.

Moab

These stories are fun, quick and just what I need through a pandemic time frame. Easy reading and enjoyable subject matter. 2020 will be remembered as the year of sweet romance in book form.

Another winner

This Four Corners series is really delightful. Syd is slightly quirky but then Jackson has some interesting traits of his own.

Fun and quick read.

Sydney and Jackson were fun to read about. Loved the Guild of Godmother's. Will there be more with that story line later on?
