Where there’s a Will…there is Something to be learnt.

Divorce sucks!! I want everyone to be as happily married as I am. When a marriage does end, I struggle with the hurt that can be inflicted towards someone you once loved. How does love turn to hate? Why do we let someone who has hurt us guide our thoughts and decisions? When do we finally realise that divorce is NOT the end? Is there a timeframe to adhere to, to know when to move on from thinking you're boring, unlovable and not enough?

Everyone is different and sometimes all it takes is a reminder to love yourself and don't settle for less than what you deserve.

Teach Me Something introduces us to Catherine. Two years after her divorce and Cath is only now starting to see the light through the trees. Cath realises that if she wants to find happiness and have her dreams of a family, she needs to move on. While work has filled the gap for awhile, she realises that she’s lonely. Her first step is to get some advice on returning to the meat market…I mean dating again.

In a move that’s a wee bit unconventional, Catherine goes undercover as Kat and joins a sex club. Now, as Kat, she’s not necessarily looking to find sex at the club. Kat is looking for some advice and help in regaining her confidence. Hiring a consultant (non-sexual and masked to hide identities) she steps out of her comfort zone and bears her deepest desires.

Turns out she’s just exposed her sexual desires to a man she’s known for years.

Will is an Aussie and he’s extremely HOT!! He’s living in New York working as a model and raising as much money as he can. This is not money he spends on himself as most of it is sent home to his family in Australia. Will is also finishing off a degree and working a second job to pay the bills. This second job may seem risqué but is not as it seems. Imagine his surprise when one of his "clients"…is a friend of a friend.

When the masks are lowered and Will and Cath are face to face they end up learning from each other. Lists are made for the pros and cons of having a relationship. Prejudices towards Will’s age needs to be overcome as Cath battles with the 7 year age gap. Will comes to realise that asking for help, getting advice and accepting a hand out from friends is not a sign of weakness. The biggest one is Cath realising that her ex is as much to blame for their failed relationship.

I really enjoyed Teach Me Something. Will and Cath were lovable, slightly flawed and perfect for each other. This is a very sexy read with plenty of action in and out of the bedroom that made it easy to see their connection.

We met some additional characters but one of them was definitely my favourite. Cath’s mum is an absolute CRACK UP!! She reads smutty romance (that Cath’s dad openly admits to benefiting from), ogles Will and makes sure he knows that every event invitation is shirt optional…just for Will. My least favourite character was Cath’s douchewaffle ex. Luckily, by the end, we get a slice of hope that he might have finally pulled his head out.

Again, I have finished a story by Aubrey Bondurant where I’m tempted to complain that the story is too long. The thing is, though, I could not tell you which word or words to take out as they are all relevant and necessary to the story. It's just longer than what I'm used to.

Teach Me Something was great and left me with a smile on my face. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

If you’ve been reading this series from the beginning like I have, then you know that Catherine Davenport, 34, is a divorced fashion editor and mutual friend of the couples from the previous books. But if you haven’t read the other stories, this can easily be read as a standalone too.

So Catherine sees herself as boring, and in an effort to push the boundaries of her orderly life, she seeks some relationship guidance through the help of a local risqué club. Don’t worry if sex clubs aren’t your thing because Catherine has a non-physical membership where she’s simply paired with a relationship adviser, not a kinky sex partner. Still, Catherine is open to new experiences and hopes her love life gets a jump start on her journey to find self confidence.

“‘Sometimes a woman just wants to be fucked against a wall, hard.’”

This is a story about growth for both characters really. While “Calvin” seems to have it all together upon first masked appearances, he actually needs to embark on a little self journey too, and through some twists of fate, he and Catherine go down the road together. Who will teach who?

“‘Are you saying we can’t be friendly with my fingers inside of you?’”

Full disclosure, one of the romantic angles between them is not generally my go to for a few reasons, some of which play out in the story, but it was engaging and I liked both characters. “Calvin” was hot and sweet, a real down to earth guy. Told via Catherine’s first person POV, I felt like she was a person you might meet in real life and initially lump her into a stereotype, but once you got to know her, you’d find a much fuller and livelier person below the surface. And through the course of the tale, Catherine finds that in herself as well.

“‘I’m living on the edge and defying all social conventions because his balls told me to.’”

There’s some witty dialogue and quite a few steamy scenes.

“‘You’re going to turn your brain off and listen to your body, which I plan on being inside of in about five minutes.’”

The ending left me wanting just a tad more of the future—particularly a fulfillment I so wanted to see Catherine get so I hope their HEA keeps playing out in the background of the next and last book.

One last thing I have to note: Catherine’s parents are hilarious and a great addition to the story. Her mom was a hoot! I'm rooting for a book about how Dr. and Mrs. Davenport met.

*****5-star read *****

So, in keeping with Catherine’s love of lists, I’m going to list 25 reasons why I loved this book:

1. If ever a book character deserved a HEA, it’s Catherine.
2. Aubrey’s writing will have you hooked from beginning to end.
3. Prepare to laugh.
4. Prepare to cry – both snotty and sappy kind!
5. Prepare to swoon.
6. Prepare to sigh.
7. I love it when I’m right – cryptic, I know! *winks*
8. This is definitely a case of the heart overruling the head.
9. Neck kisses #nuffsaid
10. Favourite laugh out loud line:
“Jesus, I could practically hear my ovaries wake up and wonder if Calvin meant himself. Down girls. He was only generalizing.”
11. Favourite ovary exploding line:
“Are you saying we can’t be friendly with my fingers inside of you?”
12. #justhis - “You need to find someone who brings out the best version of yourself, imperfections and all.”
13. I love Catherine’s mom – my mum and her could be sistas from anotha mista *snorts*
14. There are a few things *coughs* on Catherine’s list I want on my own – one word; wall.

16. Don’t you just love it when the ‘baddie’ finally gets their comeuppance?
17. I was there in the book.
18. Because of 17. I kept waiting on the cops to arrest me for voyeurism lol.
19. Because Catherine is in her 30’s and I am too – granted I’m the wrong side of thirty, but let’s not go there people.
20. Katy Perry’s Roar was on a permanent loop in my head.
21. Abs!
22. Bare = ovaries exploding.
23. It can be read as a standalone.
24. Or, like me, you’ll love catching up with all your favs from the series.
25. Lastly, *looks around furtively* where do I sign up for a membership to Club T?

I’m now nursing an epic book hangover. Roll on Mark’s book – I can’t wait!

Oh, all right then – there’s always room for one more quote:

“Because life is short, and sometimes you have to take chances.”

Words to embrace, don’t you think?

Teach Me Something is the fourth book in the Something series by Aubrey Bondurant. Ms. Bondurant has done it again, delivering another superb instalment of the Something series. With every new release, the books just get better and better- which is a testament to the authors writing prowess. In the author’s own words, it is an Adult Contemporary erotic romantic comedy. I was held enthralled, from the first page until the last, I loved everything about it and felt bereft when the story concluded- because it was so intoxicating and addictively good.
Catherine Davenport is very successful, well known and respected in her industry. She carries a lot of responsibility on her shoulders as the editor-in-Chief of Cosmo Life Magazine. Her job requires long hours, a lot of travelling and endless functions- as well as overseeing all the countless details that are required to produce such a high calibre product with each and every Issue. Her dedication and commitment to her job is beyond reproach. She is efficient and organised- or as she puts it safe, dull and predictable. Where there’s a rule she’ll always follow it, and if there’s any kind of risk, she’ll avoid it. She firmly believes that that these are some of the factors that contributed to her husband demanding a divorce, nearly two years ago. Although, he did seem to ‘move on’ with a younger woman, rather quickly.
She has had trouble adjusting to single life and has really floundered when it came to putting herself out there and joining the dating scene. The few dates that she’s been on have all ended disastrously; she really needs help to improve her social skills and self-esteem. Catherine is desperate to climb out of the rut she’s been in- of eat, work and sleep. Things have to change and soon. She hasn’t had sex in nearly two years and urgently needs to remedy this situation.
So she decides to employ the services of a private tutor at an exclusive sex club. His services don’t come cheap, but money isn’t an issue for her- she hopes that he can help her overcome her insecurities about the dating world and help her improve her ‘game’ strategies and sexual confidence.
She finds that ‘Calvin’ is just what she needs, he is charming, understanding, informative and oh-so-very-sexy. Even the mask covering his face cannot hide his piercing blue eyes, sexy mouth and knee tremblingly seductive voice. His chiselled body is well defined under his sexy button up shirt and tailored trousers. Her ‘sessions’ with him, although somewhat challenging, begin to slowly unlock her adventurous and spontaneous side.
Her issues are definitely improving, she’s happy with the progress they’ve been making; and she is beginning to relax and embrace the subtle changes that are occurring within herself. But what happens when an unexpected turn of events reveals Calvin’s true identity and he happens to be someone she knows? Will they still be able to ‘work’ together, or will all the progress that they’ve made crumble and evaporate under her anxiety and embarrassment? Will Catherine conquer her issues and boldly embrace her ‘new’ self, and step confidently into her future? Will she find what she’s been desperately looking for?
This book had me in a page flipping frenzy, engrossed and avidly devouring every word of this captivating story.
It is touching, with many heart-warming moments, also some totally frustrating scenes where I wanted to shake the characters and tell them to notice what was right under their noses. It was also quite funny and I found myself giggling quite a lot at their antics.
Ms. Bondurant is known for her rich and vivid detailing and being able to inject her stories with so much humour and heartfelt emotion, and this story had it in spades. The characters are really wonderful and quite well written. Theyre fully developed- with individual personalities and who grew from their experiences throughout the story.
I am anxiously awaiting the next book; it can’t come quick enough for my liking!
This is truly a fantastic read!

Congratulations and thank-you Ms. Bondurant!

This was yet another story by Aubrey Bondurant. I have read some of her other Something series and yet I believe that this one is my favorite. I usually do not like to read stories about such age difference in my books, but this one was minor with only a 6 year difference and the author wrote the story in such a way that the two characters were perfect for each other and the age difference just enhanced their relationship.

Catherine Davenport is finally ready to get back out there, after her husband divorced her and taking two years to get back into the game she is beyond ready. The only thing standing in her way? She sucks at small talk, and thinks she is boring (in more ways then one). Her insecurities worry her because in her job she knows she is strong and capable but thanks to her ex she now believes she is a "golden retrieve" a reliable, safe, and yet over all boring creature (that is not my own thoughts on the breed that is her thought process lol). So in order to move on from her insecurities and learn how to meet someone worth while she goes to club T. This club caters to all types, if you want sex, a place to go to be with your significant other or even counseling club T provides. All Catherine wants is counseling. And it is at club T she meets Calvin.

Calvin has worked at Club T for a few years, and he is one of the most sought after workers at club T, but he does not do sex, he just helps those he talks with to find the best version of themselves. And this is exactly what Calvin is doing with Kat (Catherine's fake name) but when he finds out he knows her personally then all the things about their "relationship" changes. And Will (Calvin's actual name) will do anything to ensure Catherine does not spill the beans about his side job, and yet still get to know her because he finds her enthralling.

This book takes you all around the world, from New York to Australia, and even to Miami. I highly recommend this spicy and enthralling read to any romance lovers who like a little spice with their nice. And for anyone who enjoys MS Bondurant's writing style. I absolutely loved this book and could not stand to be parted from it.
There is sex in this book but it is tastefully done. And not all of the sex takes place in the bedroom (in fact very little of it actually does ;) ) This author definitely knows how to make a book sexy and fun all at the same time.

This is my first book by Aubrey Bondurant and I'm so glad that I found another new to me author that I will continue to reading their work. This book can be read as a standalone, even though is it part of a series. If you are like me and have OCD when it comes to series reading order, rest assure that you can in fact read this without the others and be absolutely fine. That's what I did. The only thing it does is make you want to go back later and read the others simply because the book is good and you want to know some of the other character's backstories.

Catherine Davenport is a successful magazine editor at one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the world. Her job is her life. She's great at what she does and she loves it. Now in her thirties, she's looking to jump back into the dating world and find her perfect match after her divorce from two years ago. The dating world has changed since Catherine has been in it so she hires professional services to help her navigate this new crazy world and to help gain confidence that she lost years ago.

"Calvin" seems to be just the perfect man to help Catherine with getting back into the dating world. Ever the professional, he helps navigate her to face her desires/fantasies and build up that confidence. Since they are masked, their anonymity is safe, right?

While out in Vegas with a group of friends, Catherine and "Calvin" learn each other's identities. "Calvin" turns out to be Will, the beautiful twenty seven year old model who is good friends with one of Catherine's best friends and they are always around each other. In fact, he's modeled for the cover of her magazine before. Will the two of them be able to get past this or will it destroy their friendship?

What I enjoyed the most about this story is watching Catherine find out exactly what it is in life that she wants and embracing. Her journey to get her confidence back was great. Who would have thought it would be copious amounts of sex with a younger, hot Aussie who builds that confidence?

Will is perfect for Catherine. He's kinds, loving, extremely mature and loyal. He's got some alpha tendencies but overall it just wants to see Catherine shine and show the confidence that he knows she's always had. He's got a bit of a history that hinders his future with Catherine, that they must overcome. At times he can be frustration but mostly he just melts your heart.

I will say that this book has some amazingly steamy scenes. Will had the perfect mix of alpha and dirty mouth that kept me begging on Catherine's behalf. I honestly didn't expect it to be that hot and there is a lot of it, that I greedily accepted.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. If you are looking for something with a slow build of two soulmates working to find each other with some seriously hot steamy time and some pretty funny dialogue, then this is for you. Don't miss out.

Teach me something by Audrey Bondurant a fabulous four-star read. This is the third book in the Something series, but each book is a stand-alone full read, there are mature scenes so it’s not suitable for younger readers. Although each book is stand-alone, and they do read well as individuals together they make a great series. In this book we meet Catherine Davenport a woman who on the outside seems to have it all, she has a great job is everyone’s person, but underneath the glitz and glamour of her work persona is a woman who had her confidence knocked after her ex-husband said some horrid things to her meaning she was left almost living a double life confident in work and a shade of herself in her personal life. Leading her to do something she never would. I loved this about the story, it gave us good background and understanding making it believable that she would go to a club like she does. But she does go and she meets Calvin and her life changes, in more ways that she can imagine. But will a twist in his story lead to her confidence being dashed again or will it bring her to highs that she deserves to be. Catherine is a character that you desperately hope that she will get what she wants in the end, you are really rooting for her.
If you want a great story then this is the one for you, if you read the series I am sure you would agree they just get better and better.

I’ve followed the “Something” series from the beginning and I have to say, Teach Me Something may be my favorite. As with her previous books, Aubrey Bondurant writes a story filled with funny, steamy, and tender moments that will keep you turning pages well into the wee hours of the morning.

Catherine Davenport had a successful career as editor of Cosmo Life fashion magazine. Unfortunately her marriage had not been so successful. While she’d been about to further commit to her husband by starting a family, he’d been planning their divorce. He’d shredded her self-confidence, telling her she was boring, dull, and predictable. He’d moved on to someone younger while she’d been in a rut for 2 years. She had a hard time meeting dating prospects and couldn’t put herself out there online because of her job. So Catherine turns to an instructor at a private club to climb out of her rut and breathe new life into her self-esteem. Donning a wig and using a fictitious name and profile, Catherine meets her instructor, Calvin, the man she hopes will improve her dating strategy and sexual confidence. Calvin seemed understanding of her situation and suggested texting to work on her flirting skills. Also, her homework was to comprise a list of 50 things she wanted to do. Half of those to be sexual. Though his read on her took her off guard, Catherine liked the anonymity and the chance to reinvent herself. A constant list maker, she had no trouble compiling her criteria for the perfect match and her fantasy list. And as for texting, she enlisted the help of her girlfriends, even learning the fun of emoticons. It wasn’t long before she found herself anticipating her next meeting with Calvin and anxious for his texts. Catherine knew Calvin was only being accommodating on a professional level but she enjoyed his attention.
On a weekend Vegas retreat with friends, Catherine begins surreptitiously texting Calvin when she realizes her friend Will’s phone is chirping in sync with her texts. Could it be? Will was Calvin? They were in the same professional circle. He was someone she’d worked with, part of her inner circle of friends. And he was considerably younger. Catherine was mortified but couldn’t blame Will. He hadn’t caused the situation. Will and Catherine were able to get past the awkwardness and continued their friendship. In fact, it seemed they grew even closer than before. Will gave her advice on dating and challenged her to step out of her comfort zone. He even got her a Magic 8 ball to help her make decisions since she tended to over analyze everything. With Will’s help, Catherine was actually having fun. She was more relaxed and less analytical about her decisions. But when she put her flirting skills to use on one of Will’s friends, Will didn’t like it. Even if neither was ready to admit it, something had been building between them. Even though Catherine knew it could jeopardize their friendship, when Will kissed her, she didn’t want it to stop. Will knew he didn’t meet her criteria for a dating match. She was out of his league, but he suggested they enjoy one another for the short term and still be friends beyond that. Catherine worried if she could have a fling without the emotional investment, but she’d been through so much, didn’t she deserve to enjoy this? With Will, every touch was electric. When they were together, it was raw and physical. He’d even memorized her fantasy list down to the number. He may have been younger, but “obviously age did not equal skill”. They had an overwhelming connection. It felt natural to be with him, holding hands, dancing.
As their friendship changed to something more, Catherine realized she was changing too. She was becoming more adventurous. There was a playful side to her that seemed to only come out with Will. She’d never been more secure. “Will had become important to her, not as a crutch but as someone who brought out a side of her she hadn’t thought existed. He’d blown out of the water any criteria she’d thought she needed to be happy.” The more time she spent with Will, the more attached she was feeling to a man she had no future with. Could she continue to keep things in the casual box? Catherine was afraid she was in trouble when it came to wanting more than just the physical with Will.

What a great story about life and love. It was definitely a sexy read, but it had its “tug at the heart” moments too. Catherine and Will taught each other something. Catherine learned to embrace the qualities that made her unique. In so doing, she became more comfortable with herself and with her decisions, and she became stronger. Will learned he didn’t have to carry burdens alone. That it was okay to ask for help. That a partnership meant sharing the good and the bad. In addition to the fantastic plot, I also loved seeing old friends from previous books and making a few new ones as well. I’m anxious to see what “something” comes next. I’ve enjoyed each installment of Aubrey Bondurant’s Something series so far, and I’d been very much looking forward to Catherine’s story. Bondurant’s writing style and her brand of smutty chick-lit books are always entertaining, sexy, great reads. I’m asked on occasion to name an author who I thought more people should be reading, and unsurprisingly, Aubrey Bondurant is one of those authors the comes to my mind. She’s a very talented author, and I haven’t yet read one of her novels that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I’m going to be very careful in this review, though, as the hero’s identity is a bit of a spoiler, and I don’t want to give it away.

“Time to do this before I chickened out.”

Catherine is in her mid-thirties and a very successful editor of the top fashion magazine, Cosmo Life. She’s a recognized fashion icon and authority. While she has her professional life in check, her personal life is another story. On the heels of a divorce that she didn’t see coming, she’s floundering in her efforts to rejoin the dating scene. Part of the problem is that she misreads—or just plain misses—the signals and subtle signs that men send her and when she tries, she often misreads them. She has not mastered the subtle art of flirty bantering, and her attempts come off more awkward than seductive. She needs help.

“Maybe there was hope for me yet.”

Enter the masked man, Calvin, and some private lessons at Club Travesty, a high-end, exclusive and discreet sex club. Catherine may have donned a wig and took on the name Kat to mask her easily recognizable identity, but she fully embraced Calvin’s lessons, advice and assignments. So, despite her nearly overwhelming nervousness, Catherine is immersing herself in this experience that is so totally outside of her comfort zone, and she’s feeling more confident than she ever has. Or at least she was until she got the shock of her life at party when she hears a voice she immediately recognizes and turns to look into a pair of all-too-familiar eyes on a face that she knows…

“…keep taking chances. Sometimes the things that make you happy are found when you least expect it.”

As it turns out, Catherine knows the real man behind her masked sex club relationship tutor, Calvin. He runs in the same circles as she does, both professionally and socially. Once that gap is bridged, though, they start seeing each other privately. One of her big concerns was their age difference, he’s several years younger, but he approached their relationship with tremendous maturity and he was so patient and encouraging, it was truly inevitable that she would be swept off her feet by this man. He has his own issues, though, and surprisingly in the end it was his issues that got in the way of a relationship.

“All roads, no matter how rough, lead me here to you.”

Teach Me Something was another well written, well developed, humorous and sexy story about this group of friends that I’ve come to adore. I love this series so much, it’s one I never hesitate to highly recommend.  Aubrey Bondurant’s Teach Me Something gets 4.5 smooches from me!

I discovered Aubrey Bondurant by accident last year and have really enjoyed this series so far. In this book, we finally get Catherine's story. Going into the book, we are not told who her love interest will be....we will name him Mystery Man (MM) so as not give anything away for those who have read & enjoyed the series so far. I do want to mention that I am usually not a big fan of the Older Woman / Younger Man read (I know, I know....it's just one of my quirks)....BUT.....I really didn't mind it in Catherine's book. I guess because it is not an issue that is brought up repeatedly throughout the book. It was great to see Catherine face her insecurities and finally stand up to her EX. Also, we see how MM, who starts out very prideful starts to realize that accepting help isn't a bad thing.

Now, ***rubbing hands together anxiously *** we are heading towards Marks book. He is described at shy/quiet....but I think Ms. Bondurant has something sneaky up her sleeve and I, for one, can't wait to read his story.

Teach Me Something is book 4 in the Something series; a series of standalones featured around a group of friends. You do not need to have read any of the other books to enjoy this one, however because they are so good I recommend you do. You will get to know the characters that bit more and you will feel like you are revisiting old friends as soon as you start reading.

Catherine Davenport is a very successful business woman. Editor-in-Chief of the world famous Cosmo Life magazine, her knowledge and influence in the fashion world is unrivalled. Life should be perfect, and professionally it is; it’s her personal life that leaves a lot to be desired. Married and undergoing IVF for a much wanted baby, her husband suddenly up and left her for a younger model. That was 2 years ago and he left behind a woman insecure in her personality and what she can bring to a relationship. She absolutely sucks at dates and the small talk that is so important in finding “the one”. So she secretly starts taking classes at a sex club to give her the tools she needs now that she is ready to move on and dip her toe in the dating pool.

Calvin is her masked instructor. Strictly no sex, he advises her on the do’s and don’ts of starting a relationship. He makes her really evaluate her wants and desires, encouraging her to be confident and assertive; even if this is totally out of her comfort zone. But a trip to Vegas with her closest friends changes everything. Sometimes the person who fits you perfectly, comes in a package you don’t expect. When Catherine finds her something, it turns out to be closer to home than she thinks.

Will she put Calvin’s advice into practice or will the insecurities and heartache of her past and her influential career ruin what could be a love she never saw coming?

I could write pages and pages about how much I adore this series. Aubrey Bondurant’s Something series never ever lets me down; in fact it just seems to go from strength to strength. At the heart of every book has been a butterfly inducing love story. They are always my favourite, but because of that I am seriously picky. They are either too superficial, too repetitive, have too much sex or just don’t have any substance to them. All of those things can never be said about Aubrey’s books. Her stories and characters have depth. They aren’t just hearts and flowers and they always have just the right amount of sexiness to them. In a nutshell they are carefully crafted in every way. Each time I pick her new offering from this series I think “She will never out do the last one”, but she does every time. Where sometimes you feel too much similarity to previous books in a series, you never do with hers.

I loved both Catherine and her man (who shall not be named to avoid spoiling it for you). You often find in life that a successful woman never has it all, and Catherine is the perfect example of that. I loved reading her story and the unexpected twist and turns her life takes.

If you love good old fashioned romance that is guaranteed to give you all the feels, do not miss this book or indeed this series. I now wait patiently for the next instalment, so get writing Aubrey… I am addicted to this series and the characters you have created. – A MUST READ!

Teach Me Something is the 4th book in the “Something Series” by Aubrey Bondurant. It is a stand-a- lone romance novel. The story is about a woman named Catherine Davenport who is an editor at Cosmo Life Magazine in New York City. Catherine has been divorced for two years but has still felt as if she lacks the confidence in herself to start dating again successfully. Her self-esteem has been badly hurt because her ex-husband, who she'd been with for 10 years had, at what she had perceived at the time as out-of-the-blue, said that he wanted a divorce, while she was in the middle of hormone injections and was supposed to have egg retrieval performed the next day for in-vitro fertilization. To say she that has been left feeling depressed and unworthy of love by his announcement has been an understatement to say the least, but add to that his moving on to a twenty-something year old girlfriend not long after their separation and that only added fuel to the fire. Catherine was looking for some help from someone who she could turn to for help with pointers on what to do to start successfully dating again, and because she didn't know where else to turn she visited an upscale sex club and signed up to anonymously speak to a gentleman who could counsel her on the subject.

The gentleman in the story who Catherine or “Kat” as she's know at “Club T.” sees is known as “Calvin” there. He is very handsome, sexy in his dress shirt and slacks, has sparkling blue eyes, a deep voice, and is very good at counseling Kat. Calvin asks her all the right questions, gives her assignments, and asks her for detailed answers to his questions so that he can help her be successful with her future dating experiences. He even gets her set up with a matchmaker that he knows who his former clients have had great success with in the past. Since Calvin wears a mask and Kat wears a mask and a wig, no one in the club knows their true identities for obvious reasons. When they both find out that they know each other a week later, when they are in Las Vegas with their mutual friends, they are both surprised. I don't want to give anything else away so that you the future reader are surprised, too.

I really enjoyed this story, and all of the great characters written by Aubrey Bondurant. This is the first novel that I've read in this series and I really enjoyed how strong Catherine found herself to be, realizing that she wasn't boring or a failure at relationships, she was just with the wrong person and that was why her marriage failed. This is a valuable lessen for many people whose marriages have failed, and they would definitely benefit from post-marriage counseling, although maybe not a sex club. :-) I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a steamy romance novel!

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I loved this book! Hell I've loved this entire series! If you want laugh out loud comedy combined with damn I need my man here right now hotness then The Something Series is for you.

I truly enjoyed Catherine's character in the previous books and I was so happy to finally read her story. She's divorced, mid thirties, and has no kids and all she wants is to settle down and have babies with someone, but she can't seem to get over the dating hurdle. With a little assistance 'Calvin' helps her work through her issues. However, 'Calvin' isn't his real name and a mask can only hide so much when all the other details are so memorable.

"I would have put on my clothes, but the ball told me not to bother." ~another Magic 8 ball decision. Some of these are quite hilarious.

'Calvin' realized who his masked client was when they were hanging out together as friends. Talk about awkward; realizing his client is a friend that he seems to hang around a lot because of their mutual friends. And what oh what to do about it when it's obvious they both realize that their identities are no longer secret, especially when he has his own secrets to hide.

"We're just rolling with this and not overthinking it. I mean it, Cath. You're going to turn your brain off and listen to your body, which I plan on being inside of in about five minutes."

These two ignite the pages with their steamy romance in Teach Me Something. Let me just say...oh yes, he'll definitely teach her something. Between their stubbornness, his easygoingness, her mother's over the top remarks, and the oh-my-goodness sex I couldn't put this book down. And yes I have the red puffy eyes to prove that I was literally up all night reading.

My Favorite Laughable Moments have to be Catherine's mother's comments.

"My God, would you look at those abs? Cathy, please tell me the word 'friend' is only a cover so your parents won't know you're in reality sleeping with this man."

Teach Me Something (Something Series Book 4)
By: Aubrey Bondurant
5 out of 5 stars

The story Teach Me Something (Something Series Book 4) is a romantic comedy. This is Catherine Davenport’s love story and I can’t express how much I loved it. This book had me laughing, crying, and saying “No they just didn’t!” Catherine’s character is so confident when it comes to her career. She knows how to get what she wants and how to get things done. This doesn’t spill over into her love life. She is divorced and is finding it a challenge to get back into the dating scene. Catherine knows that if she wants to find a man she will need help. That is when she enlists the help of a private club to help her improve. This is where she finds help with dating strategies from a masked man with piercing blue eyes. What happens next is a wonderful adventure into what can happen when two people unexpectedly fall in love.

This story is mainly about a blooming romance, however, family also plays an important part as well. Catherine’s parents pop in to visit her and not always at the best times. The family dynamic is one that almost had me rolling on the floor with laughter. Catherine finds out that being up front and making sure that you properly communicate as a couple is one of the most important parts of any relationship. There is also the hot and heavy romance in this relationship that will have you turning on a fan and reaching for a glass of ice water. This is the fourth book in the Something Series and I can honestly say that every single book is an absolute joy to read. Each story is written so that you don’t want to put the book down until you finish. I highly recommend reading in order as all the characters are either related or the best of friends so they frequently travel together and plan events with almost everyone attending. This book does contain adult language and situations including very hot romantic scenes. It is for those 18 years or older.

Teach Me Something is the fourth book in the Something Series. I have enjoyed the entire series, but I think this is my favorite so far. I knew this was Catherine’s story but had no clue on who she would end up with and I was guessing up until it was revealed. She did a great job keeping me guessing.

Catherine Davenport is thirty-four and recently divorced. She was blindsided when her husband asked her for a divorce and two years later is still recovering emotional and trying to rebuild her confidence. She has been on several first dates but that is where it ends. She finally sucks it up and goes back to Club Travesty but this time she meets with Calvin and she is instantly at ease and comfortable with him.

Calvin is the mystery man working to help Catherine or Kat as she is known at the club get back into the dating world. He is determined to help Kat get her confidence up and help her with all aspects of dating as he is expected to do. They work together every night and even when she doesn’t see him at the club he has her doing homework. Flirty texts, making up a bucket list of both real life and sexual experiences.

Catherine discovers Calvin’s real identity accidently and is shocked and mortified that he knows so much about her when she has met him before. Will she be able to move on and still work with him and get herself confident enough to start a new life? Goodness knows her ex-husband Michael tries to throw a wrench into her plans and ruin her hard work.

I loved this story and managed to read it quickly because I couldn’t put it down. It was a happy ending and also an opportunity to see what the others are up to. I cannot wait to read the next installment and I think I know who the couple is, but I have said that before.

Teach Me Something by Aubrey Bondurant is the book four of the Something series, and I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. It can be read in order, or as a standalone. I recommend reading all of these, because they are amazing! Each book in the series covers a different couple. This book is the story of Catherine and Calvin. So far, this book is my personal favorite of the series.

Catherine is successful at work as fashion magazine editor, but not so successful with her personal life. She has been divorced for some time, and reluctant to get back out there on the market. Her ex did nothing for her self-esteem, and is trying to get over her insecurities. Through her friend Sasha, she attempts speed dating but doesn’t find anyone worth her time. So Catherine ends up at a sex club, looking for advice. She ends up with a lot more.
Her instructor happens to be extremely hot with the most amazing blue eyes she’s ever seen. He specializes in helping women like her find their confidence, and own their sexuality. There is undeniable chemistry between teacher and student-but dating clients is strictly forbidden. Calvin is more than interested in pursuing her, but does she feel the same? He also holds a secret that could turn her away. Will he confess who he really is? Will she take a chance on love? Read to find out!
I SO enjoy these amazing characters that Aubrey creates. The couples are so well detailed, and rich in back stories that keep you on the edge of your seat! Also, shout out to the character of Catherine’s mom-she is hilarious! I was laughing out loud at the dating advice she was bluntly giving. Can’t wait to read more from her!

“Teach Me Something” by Aubrey Bondurant

Teach Me Something (Book #4 in the Something Series) by Aubrey Bondurant is another great installment to this book series. This story follows Catherine, a newly divorced head of a fashion magazine, as she tries to gain confidence and get back in the dating scene. She has made her work her life because she knows she can handle it and feels completely comfortable with it, but when it comes to men she is desperately trying to figure out how to get beyond being the “boring” person her ex-husband has convinced her she is and build back the confidence that he had destroyed.

Catherine decides to throw caution to the wind and go to a private club to seek help in getting out of her shell and explore her needs and desires. Club Travesty is where she meets Calvin, a self-assured, sexy, and mysterious masked man who starts her on her path of discovery. Calvin started by assigning Catherine some homework, in the way of making a list of 50 things she has always wanted to do, with 25 of those being fantasy items.

This book was great, just like the others in the series. The author continues to do a wonderful job drawing the reader into the story and allowing the reader to get to know the characters so well that you feel as if you know them personally. Things in the story fell into place, but were complicated, just as “real life” is complicated. The story had romance, frustration, embarrassment, steaminess, heartbreak, love, and lust. Overall it was wonderful and Aubrey Bondurant has one of my favorite series with the Something books. I give this one 5 stars and definitely recommend you pick it up as the series isn't losing steam as it progresses.

Two years ago, Catherine Davenport was barely holding it together. Her marriage of ten years ended and then her ex moved on in record time with a younger girl. Now on the verge of turning thirty-five, she has a wildly successful career and a loving (although crazy) family – but there’s something missing.

She’s going to step outside of her comfort zone and do something that she never thought she would and that one choice will not only lead her to a stronger version of herself – but also to true love.

If I was being completely honest with myself, I knew I was rapidly developing feelings for him outside of the friend zone despite knowing it wasn’t smart. Not because he wasn’t a terrific guy and not even because he didn’t meet all of the criteria on my ‘perfect’ mate list, but because I was going to get hurt. He saw me as a friend. If I’d learned anything the hard way, it was that I needed to heed those boundaries. Even if I thought he was giving mixed signals, there was no way in hell I’d ever put myself out there again.

Teach Me Something may be the hottest and yet most moving of Aubrey’s Something series yet!  Catherine had such a realistic edge that I found myself feeling what she was feeling and experiencing all of the butterfly highs and devastating lows right along with her.  Her journey was far from easy but it was newly gained inner strength that helped her realize her true heart's desire and to never let it go.

It’s the perfect combination of sizzle and soul and no one delivers that quite like Aubrey…

Is Teach Me Something going to be one of my top reads of 2017? Magic 8-ball says: As I see it, yes.

There are so many reasons why I love this book! Is it the flawless writing? Yes, definitely. Is it the amazingly lovable characters? Without a doubt. Is it because I can totally relate to Catherine in so many ways? Signs point to yes.

This book has the perfect blend of humor, passion, and heart - everything I love in a great book. Catherine & Will are so different, yet they couldn't be a more perfect couple - bringing out the best in each other. They are two of the most real & giving people - you cannot help but love them.

This is book 4 in the Something Series, and I do believe it's my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I loved the other books, but Will has stolen my heart!! Just when I thought Josh was awesome... then along came Brian and won a place in my heart. Next thing you know, here comes Colby...SWOON! No way would anyone surpass those guys. Was I wrong!! Like a blur of all things good & sexy, Will easily took the lead as my perfect BBF. He is sweet, super romantic, and his inner alpha comes out at exactly the right times.

I am so in love with the group of friends in this series. They are each so unique and lovable in their own way. I can't wait for the next book!! I would like to call DIBS on Mark right now! Sorry, Ladies.

I highly recommend this book!

Catherine is a 34 years successful business woman, she's got it all...or so it seems. She's divorced and her ex has made her an insecure woman. She's gone to a sex club once and it wasn't her thing, yet she finds herself back in the same club getting ready to hand over $1,000 to join and learn how to date. Last time she was paired with Derek but they didn't click, so this time she's paired with a man named Calvin. Thank goodness no one here knows who she is...or do they?

She enjoys her interaction with Calvin..at this point, he's just someone to talk to and to help her go outside her safe little box she's in. He gets her flirting which she didn't know how to do, but is he flirting with her to teach her or because he's interested in her? What happens when identities are revealed?

This is a great stand alone long story. It's hot, it's sweet, sad and funny. I enjoyed Catherine's character as well as Calvin.

I give 5 stars to Teach me something (Something series Book 4) written by Aubrey Bondurant.

I can't recommend these books fast enough to anyone that will listen to me. The pages are filled with humour, tears, love, and so much banter, plus hot hot hot. I love each attitude. The best for me is how each book focuses on each different character, but a little piece of each couple show up in each different book.

Please give the whole series a good read it definitely worth it i can't put it down, I'm downloading book 5 as i write this review.

Catherine Devonport had it all a magnificent career, a husband then everything changed, now after a messy divorce she getting back out there on the dating scene, but even with the proud show on the outside inside she has taken a massive blow to her confidence, that's how she ended up where she did, it was make or break now for her she need to find so way to break the wall she had build, or did she find the one person that will smash that wall down, but at what cost. Can Catherine overcome her issues?

From Catherine first being introduced in book one i was unsure of her but now having had a much better insight to her i'm so backing her all the way, think my love of Haylee clouded my judgement. Excellent read i'm so hooked to this author now.

sweet jesus. I cant say enough how much I loved this book. at least now I know at some point of these books in this series, the boys do something idiotic to cause a wee bit of drama for a little bit, and instead of me freaking out and chucking my kindle out the window, I just shake my head and read on....this series has been so super enjoyable for me. I think so far Kenzie and Colby and this book are my favorites so far...Will is just off the charts hot. I mean seriously. the accent? the abs? the eyes? the sex?

I really loved everything about this story. I loved how Catherine learned about herself and found her inner sex kitten. I loved her mom..and I loved that damned magic 8 ball. and I loved her lists...loved the epilogue on the other POV. I'm swooning. majorly.

Can't wait for Mark!! do we think it will be with Juliette????????????

Title: Teach Me Something
Author:Aubrey Bondurant
Series: Something #4

Teach Me Something was a great 5 star read.

Catherine is a divorcee who is looking for someone to help her in the dating department. She has joined a sex club to get some help regarding relationships and turning up her sexuality, she doesn’t want to be boring anymore. She is in disguise due to her successful career as a magazine editor, when she meets Calvin he gives her some great advice and he gets her to create a very naughty list.

When she heads to Vegas with some friends she makes a shocking discovery while she is texting Calvin. She quickly discovers who Calvin is and is shocked. Now that their identities have been discovered things get really interesting from here.

Keep taking chances. Sometimes the things that make you happy are found when you least expect it.

These two pulled me right in and I couldn’t stop reading until I was done. Will was so great with Catherine and Catherine in turn helps Will with some family issues as well. I loved the secondary characters and had several LOL moments because of Catherine’s mother. I loved her. We do get a HEA and I loved the ending. This is my first read of the series and I wasn’t lost at all, I do however plan to go back and get caught up. If your looking for a great read than 1-click and get started today.

Teach Me Something ( The Something Series Book 4 )
By Aubrey Bondurant
5/5 Stars

Teach Me Something is the fourth book in The Something Series by Aubrey Bondurant. It can be read as a standalone. But I would highly suggest reading the whole series in proper order!
Oh how I LOOOOOOVE this series!! I truly can’t get enough of it!! I have read all the books within a couple hours each. I seriously couldn’t put them down!!
I love how each book, has a strong and independent female character. But she has insecurities and is a bit flawed, like how we all are in the present day!! You can definitely identify with the characters!!
Catherine Davenport is extremely successful in all aspects of her career. But not so much in her love life and dating aspects! She is finding it a little difficult to put herself out there, after a terrible divorce.
Her insecurities have stopped her from dating. She is terrified of finding the wrong man again! So she puts all her time and energy into her work.
You must read this book to see what kind of journey Catherine takes you on! It’s full of lovely surprises, you will not be able to put this book down!!
I’m so looking forward to the fifth book! I can’t get enough of this series! Great job, Aubrey!!

Teach Me Something
(Something Series #4)
By Aubrey Boudurant
5 stars!

SERIOUSLY!! WOW! This is probably the best books in the serious so far and I was so looking forward to Catherine’s story! When I finally got my hands on it I couldn’t put it down!

Catherine is a divorcee who has a rough go at things in the dating department. She decided to join a club in hopes of boosting her self-confidence and at the same time learning a few new things about her sexuality.
I loved Catherine as a character and she made me laugh. I love the fact that she is so driven and man this girl has some wicked awesome fashion!
At the club, she meets Calvin. He is her dating instructor and man oh man oh man is he HOTT! But he is also sweet and caring and completely swoon worthy (because all of Aubrey’s male characters are!). He is by far one of my favorite male characters of this series and I am so glad that he is in Catherine’s story!!

This story is a MUST read and like I said before it was my favorite of the something series. It is a standalone but like the previous 3 books, the characters intertwine.

Go get this book NOW! I promise you will love it as much as I did!

I received and voluntary reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Stacy Aube for Cutting Muse Blog Review.

I personally enjoyed Catherine and Will's story. Will is a caring and supportive guy until he feels unworthy. Catherine is a little lost trying to getting back into the dating scene after her divorce. She enlists some very special help not knowing her world was about to be rocked. Truly a wonderful story.

I can't wait for Mark's story, it looks like I missed book 3 so in the mean time I'll go back and read that.
