I came across this book at my parents' home, and it is a treasure. "Culinaria Caribbean" is an extensive culinary and cultural journey across the Caribbean. With photographs and maps, this book of some 460 pages includes many recipes. Not just a great read but an excellent recipe book.

Great collection of recipes from nearly every inhabited isle of the caribbean. Nice pictures, good explanations of the nature of local food and ingredients, and overall it ties culture and food together fairly well with the emphasis remaining squarely on food. I love food, and I especially love caribbean food!

Great book! I had to read it sitting at the table cuz it's so heavy. Throughly enjoyed the cuisines and the cultures around the world. Excellent book for coffee table with fantastic photos and illustrations.
