Rosemary Johns brings about the Rebel Werewolves finale with Only Protector Alphas. She ALWAYS manages to give us a great fantasy read within each book. Crimson has to help save her pack from Vala and Queen Banan. It is now time to fight and prepare for war against those who will not free all the wolves…that means the Queens must perish! Since killing her aunt, Crimson is learning more and more why someone needs to be appointed as Head of the Covens. Her pack grow stronger through their bonds of love and equality. They inspire others to raise up and have hope~ More newcomers join the pack. Crimson discovers what it truly means to be a Witch Wolf. She has one who believes by marking her with a bite it will allow her to control her…but it ends up biting her in the butt. Those who try to claim her Charms shall learn they are already spoken for and retaliation is swift! This book is amazing.. I love the magic and action from Crimson, her pack and the surprises that happen.
Crimson when she was young her parents were killed by wolves.. she then went to live with her Uncle in America. When she was approximately 20 she was asked to come back home to London by her Aunt Stella. Crimson is gifted with a wolf shifter who is a Rebel. Then she finds 2 Angels in her house... The House of Silver. After that she is gifted 2 more wolf shifter who are definite rebels.
I loved reading about Crimson and her pack... I can't wait to see what the Author has in store next.

As usual, Rosemary John's has written an intriguing novel! The continuation of Crimson's story captures your attention with the first word and refuses to let go. Only Protector Alphas is a wonderful combination of romance, action, intrigue, and a bit of comedy.

Some people don't want to finish the last book in a series they love, I always have trouble starting the last book in a series I love. I've been wanting to read this book ever since I finished the second book in this series and today I finally found the courage to say goodbye to these characters. And the goodbye was even harder, because I have no more Johns book ready to be read next, even though it will take a while to catch up with her entire backlist.
Once more, I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to Johns, I really enjoyed the writing style. Johns is so focussed on the emotions, on the atmosphere, on what these characters are going through, on the connection between the characters. It means that sometimes it's hard to follow what's happening exactly, but it also means that connecting with the characters, feeling for them and rooting for them is incredibly easy.
Although the characters had quite some challenges to face in this book, there were more secrets to reveal, more horrors to discover and more bad guys to battle, the ending of this series was incredibly satisfying. Of course, there are more horrors in the world, but Crimson has saved her pack and their friends and family. She can leave the saving of the rest of the supernatural world to other characters, who are just as brave and just as in love as she is.
Because that's what this book is eventually about: love. Crimson has heard her parents being slaughtered by wolves and yet she's learned to love three of the most special, unique and interesting wolves in history. Her three wolves, in return, have grown up collared, belittled and broken, but they're now using their love and them being loved to free themselves and everyone else from the shackles that held them back.

Wow what an ending
So I started these books just a couple of days ago and I tore through the first two. I don't think I've ever stalked a release like that before, I'm talking constantly refreshing the page as soon as midnight hit (it didn't show up till close to 2am and I got about 30 percent through before I finally fell asleep).
This was so satisfying for an ending. The first book had me screaming and cursing, the second book had me sooo angry and I was looking forward/hoping to finally seeing these characters get to be fully badass and was not disappointed. I also like that while it seems the author is finished with these characters particular arc(I say seems because there might be more later), that there's still more books in this world. I have a bad habit of not finishing long series but if it is changing mc's in the same world, I'm more likely to continue reading the books. Pretty certain I'm going to be binging the other books by this author now.
As for the romance, it's so beautifully written. There's a ton of sexual tension in all three books and not a lot of sex scenes, but I'm okay with that, as it makes sense in context that they don't get a lot of time to just have some fun. And honestly it was somewhat refreshing, speaking as someone that sometimes skips sex scenes.

Now if the author decided to have an extra of the honeymoon that's just all sex scenes I totally wouldn't complain.

The thing about Crimson through this journey is that she's constantly evolving, she's learning what it means to control the Crimson Tide, to belong to a pack, and how that pack can change, evolve and grow, just as she is. In this final installment, the pack is again in hot water, and when we left Crimson last, she had just killed her aunt, which could put the witches in a precarious position. Once again, with a lot on her plate, she must rely on those she loves to help see them through this mess.
This journey hasn't been easy, and we've learned along the way that there are so many that are treated poorly (abominable really). Crimson is trying to be the voice of doing what is right, and that's because of who she chose to be in her pack (and those that choose her as well). This has been a fun trilogy. I've enjoyed the characters, the bond between them, and the comedic moments along the way. There's angst, comedy, romance, and so much more, a truly fun ride.

Only Protected Alphas is Book 3 and final in the Rebel Werewolves series by Rosemary A Johns. This book and series is a masterpiece of story telling. The world building is phenomenal, the characters are well thought out and grow with each book, the storyline keeps you involved within the story and turning pages to the end. Crimson is an awesome character and I hope we will see her again as well as her mismatched pack of werewolves, shifters, mages, angels, gods. There is so much going on in this book that it keeps you glued to the pages needing to know what comes next. I highly recommend this book and series. You will be doing yourself a favor and I know you will not regret it if you get this series. Received an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.

I always hate to see the end of a series but this book man oh man Rosemary has truly raised the bar. It's is packed full of love, action, wolves plotting against others, Crimson trying to save her group which does include her Charms (her wolves) her fiancee mage Aquilo, Michief the God and Ramiel an Angel all who she loves and love her and she will do whatever it takes to protect and keep them safe. We find a few surprises along the way and a few characters I hope get their own stories as well. I really loved this story and the other 2 books had them all building relationships (a slow burn if you will) but this one brings on the heat. Enjoy I did.

A brilliant ending to a great series. All loose ends were tied up and a few surprises were uncovered (and they were fantastic). I just loved these characters - Crimson, Mischief, Aquilo, Emperor, Amadeus, Ramiel and Duke. Flirty, Funny, Witty and Loyal until the end. Im sad that this is the last book but it was by far my favourite

Witches and werewolves are bitter enemies and only a treaty keeps them from war. Yet, both parties rule somewhat the same; only female wolves are to be Alphas and only female witches are allowed to have magic. Crimson is the key to free them all, if she can just figure out how. This is the third in the series and each one has just gotten better!

This is the 3rd. and final book in this awesome series! I am at a loss for words. I know this author is amazing, but this time she raised the bar so high, I don't know if it can be beat!! This book has everything suspense, love, devotion and the anticipation kept me on the edge of my seat. And it is sizzling hot!!! This book could not be put down. Can Crimson save her precious wolves who are her family? Will her packs love and devotion be enough to free them? Can she keep all her wolves safe without loosing her life? This series has been such a thrill ride. I never knew what would happen and the strength Crimson shows for those she loves may be what gets her through this. This was just an amazing series, a definite must read!!!

I didn't think this series could get any better but Rosemary has done it again. This has to be my favorite of the series so far. What a perfect way to finish the Rebel Werewolves series. I think my favorite thing about this whole series has been the plot. I've loved the journey it has taken me on, and how it has started putting things in place for the more rebel stories to come. YAY!!

I really wanted to finish this series, this particular book (3) was for me the hardest one to read, whoever proof read it needs to get a new vocation…I spent more time reading, re-reading and interpreting parts that should have flowed, then parts where the houses and the guys names were mixed up just made me want to give up but I persevered and finished eventually. Don’t get me wrong I’ve read lots of books that you need to re-read as the grammar isn’t right but if the story flows you can over look it, not this one, it sadly spoiled the whole story.
The story in itself seemed to be very repetitive and the MC in my opinion should have had a bit more about her, still it’s a story at the end of the day.

Alpha, Omega & Beta united
Book 3 ,last in the wild shifter series.
I started to read this series after I had read Rebel Angels series and was so pleased when is finally finished that. Only to realise it was wrote by the same author. Too many similarities between the two sets. But I have to say apart from the repetition of names n mass orgies that didn't go anywhere I enjoyed this set of characters a lot more.
Crimson & her Charms "kicked ass " as she would say. Getting rid of the old, bad ways to start again for a better future together.

I started to read this series after I had read Rebel Angels series and was so pleased when is finally finished that. Only to realise it was wrote by the same author. Too many similarities between the two sets. But I have to say apart from the repetition of names n mass orgies that didn't go anywhere I enjoyed this set of characters a lot more.
Crimson & her Charms "kicked ass " as she would say. Getting rid of the old, bad ways to start again for a better future together.

A great finale!
Finally! A book that I give the appropriate stars to. This story of Crimson and her pack has been great, but until this book, it just didn’t flow well at all. There were still a few confusing transitions and wrong manes and gene sees used here and there. But this was by far the best book in the series.
Still plenty of drama and excitement and lots of sext times and more secrets and past hurts that came to light. Finally, Moon opened up! But you knew from the beginning what his secret was. Nice ending.

Crimson and her pack fight hard against the system just to have the right t exist as they want , to be free of society’s bigotry.
The plot and world building in these books is amazing and this final book holds you from the first few pages right until the end - the storey telling is so good.
There are twists and turns, its faced paced in places with plenty of excitement and sexual tension in an exciting world – The storey builds throughout the books and by the end has you completely enthralled.

Crimson returns from America to take up position as The Wolf Charmer in a magical world of Witches and Wolves. She realises she has more enemies than friends and some are out to get her from set go. She is given 3 Wolf princes who she has to train but not get close to or to trust but she goes against what she is told. She soon realises their are witches in her coven that don’t want peace between the witches and wolves and it’s up to her and her mates to end this war and bring total peace once and for all. I really enjoyed listening to this series.
