René Raaijmakers (Oirschot, 1960) ging direct na zijn studie scheikunde aan de slag als wetenschapsjournalist. In de jaren negentig schreef hij over informtietechnologie en de halfgeleiderindustrie als freelance medewerker voor ondermeer NRC Handelsblad, Intermediair, Automatisering Gids en Computable. In 1999 startte hij Bits&Chips, een vak- en opiniemagazine voor de hightechindustrie.

A great biography of ASML and by extension the semiconductor industry in general. The book is quite technical at the start but I managed to stay with it, al though I had to look up some concepts and terms.
