Things I never thought would happen:
Meeting my boyfriend’s secret wife.
Finding out I’m pregnant with his baby.
Pretending my best friend is the father.

In public, we fake a relationship.
In private, we try not to fall in love.

The more we pretend, the more we forget it’s only temporary.

Chaser is book 4 in the Twisted Fox series. Each book can be read as a standalone but is best read in order.

Throughout the series we get so many hints and snipets of Grace and Finn that they have been my most anticipated couple of this series. The were prominent background characters that stood out to me. They are both kind, caring and compassionate and both dealing with heavy issues life keeps throwing their way. Even though they have slightly opposite personalities they have always just been drawn to each other and have formed a strong (somewhat unlikely) friendship along the way. Their romance is a slowburn, sweet and passionate one with a hiccup or two in their path.

Honestly this wasn't exactly how I pictured their story going and would've loved a little less OM (though unrequited) drama. Throughout the series Grace has always had a 'mysterious' reason around why she doesn't like to be left alone at night and even though I loved finally getting clued in on this, I wish the story had more focused on that as the main point as well as Finn's family background and less on the OM baby daddy drama. That is just a personal opinion but I still ended up enjoying the book and the series as a whole is one of my favourites. Charity always finds a way to add in some drama while keeping it low angst and super entertaining to read and I can not wait to see how it all ends in Last Round (book 5)

The minute I knew this book was going to be a fake relationship, surprise baby, friends to more plotline, I knew I was going to fall in love. Having read quite a few dark romances recently, I needed something with enough of an edge to keep me interested, but not too dark, and Chaser ticked all those boxes.

Grace’s world is rocked when she discovers she’s pregnant by her ex-boyfriend, a man she recently discovered wasn’t who he said he was. Unsure how her future will look, she turns to her close-knit friendship group who have her back through anything, especially her best friend Finn Duke, who she’s been secretly in love with for years. Finn has covertly reciprocated those feelings, and they’ve danced round their attraction, terrified of ruining the friendship they’ve built for something more. So, when Grace needs someone to act as the father of her baby in front of her parents, Finn eagerly accepts the role, wishing he had got his act together sooner so that they could be doing it for real. But soon the lines become blurred, and what started off as a fake relationship soon turns to real as they begin to navigate the pregnancy together. But when the biological father starts sniffing around, will it be the end of their blossoming love?

Both Grace and Finn had demons that they kept from each other, and whilst their friendship was deeper with each other than with anyone else within the group. Only when they became more did they reveal all about their pasts. They both kept their feelings to themselves for different reasons, but the minute they had to play happy families together, they realised how silly they’d been for fighting their love for so long.

Finn had a rough upbringing on the wrong side of the tracks, so constantly assumed that Grace was too good for him, despite her never putting that feeling across. He found it difficult to trust, having been let down by those who were supposed to love him unconditionally, and was used to people being able to walk away from him without a second thought. So it took a lot for him to put himself out there and put his feelings for Grace on the line, because he knew if he could convince her hew as all in, then he would finally have the girl, and the family, he’d always dreamed of.

Grace was a tough nut to crack, the hints that there was something going on behind the scenes with her starting even in the previous book, Straight Up, made me so intrigued into knowing more about her character. Fairly quiet and sweet, I thought she handled the whole pregnancy thing very well considering, and when all is revealed about her past traumatic experience, I felt her pain. She needed someone she could trust explicitly, someone who could make her feel safe and that person was Finn. I did wish she fought back a bit more when it came to her ex, I wanted more fight from her, but could also understand why she acted how she did. She just wanted to forget about him and move on with her baby, and I admired how she was ready to do it on her own and didn’t make Finn feel like he had to be there.

The Twisted Fox series has slowly cemented itself in my heart. While I wasn’t totally sold on the first book, I am so glad I carried on reading the stories of this group of friends, because the more I read about them, the more I want to be invited to their Taco Tuesdays and nights hanging out at the bar. Charity has set up the final book, Lola and Silas’ story, so perfectly, that while I’ll be sad to see them go, The Last Round cannot come quick enough!

When Grace found out the principal at the school where she teaches—who she just so happened to be dating—is married, she cuts things off immediately. She expects to wipe her hands clean of the cheater, until she finds out she’s pregnant with her baby. Since Grace comes from a well-to-do family who believe in marriage before babies, she doesn’t know how she’ll break the news to her parents. But her group of best friends have an idea: Grace’s guy best friend, Finn, could pretend to be the dad when she tells her family.

Grace has had a crush on Finn for the entirety of their friendship, but what she doesn’t know is Finn has felt the same. Finn has wanted Grace since he first laid eyes on her, but he doesn’t feel he’s worthy. His childhood was rough—to put it kindly—whereas Grace came from money & stability. So when the opportunity drops in his lap to be there for Grace, even if it means taking responsibility for a child that isn’t his, he knows he’d be a fool not to say yes.

Maybe once and for all, Grace & Finn can come clean about their feelings and finally have everything they’ve ever wanted together...

Chaser by Charity Ferrell is book 4 in the Twisted Fox series. This is a friends to lovers meets surprise baby romance, but not in the traditional way. It wouldn’t be a Charity romance without a whole lot of drama and I was all here for it. I thought Finn & Grace’s romance was sweet and heartfelt. I loved how Finn stepped up for Grace and helped her through an extremely difficult time in her life. I recommend reading the first 3 books before book 4, as the stories are very interconnected. 4/5 stars.

Grace and Finn have been friends for years, close for years, secretly in love with each other for years. Grace was born to a trust fund, Finn, born to filth, a mother who OD'd and a father that he is waiting to learn has OD'd. A father who takes and takes, but has never really given. He sees himself unworthy of her. Something she does not believe, would never believe.

When Grace learns she is pregnant by the man she just learned hid the fact he was married, her world starts to crash. An idea by her sister, a fake boyfriend, with Finn filling the role. He willingly agrees, he would literally do anything to make hr smile, laugh, to make her life easy.

What happens when the role playing becomes blurred with reality and their desires become known and moved on.

Loved the connection of these two. Also loved other characters. Would've been 5-star read for me with a little better ending, I thought it was too blah for my liking.

This was just wonderful, I really enjoyed Grace and Finn's story!
Grace finds herself in a scary situation, she nervous to tell her parents. So when her friends and sister come up with the plan to involve Finn. Finn whose been in love with Grace since they've became friends he agrees. Secrets come to light and drama finds Grace at work but Finn never leaves her side. I just loved this couple, Finn was just the best.

Throughout the series, we've been teased with the potential of what Grace & Finn would be together if they only got out of their own ways and just figured out how much they loved one another. I honestly couldn't wait for this book, especially since best friends to lovers is one of my secret favorite tropes, and with these two being complete opposites of one another, I couldn't wait for all the sparks to fly! But honestly.. between all the OM drama (though to be clear, Grace didn't want his attention) and the weird spacing of the book, the love between these characters just fell so flat for me. I wish we would have gotten more as to way Grace couldn't spend the night alone, and just how that has affected her all this time. If that had been the focus more than the sad excuse of the baby daddy, I probably would have rated this higher.

That's not to say that there is anything wrong with this couple, because there truly isn't.. and I'm not even sure if I can put my finger on it, but it all just fell flat to me. It's like we barley just scratched the surface of their connection, or just when we were finally getting somewhere, it would just stop. Like I said above, the pacing was extremely off in this book, which took away from the overall storyline for me.

Also, I was more invested as to what is going down between Silas and Lola. You can just *feel* the angst coming off those two, and I'm so glad Charity saved them for last! I felt more connected to them than I did Grace and Finn, but I just know I will love the last addition of this series!

This book is still worth reading for sure, especially if you've read the rest of the books in the series.

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

2,5 stars. This book was too cheesy. Drama created for no drama in the end. All rainbow and butterflies. The further I read along the more unbelievable the plot became. I liked the friends to lovers trope and the hero not being a manwhore and parading women in front of her. There were some major angsty subjects, but because they were all glossed over the book was just plain boring. There is a trigger in this book and again glitter farting unicorns with this topic. It was just not for me.

Safe read (or with exception, according to your liking). Heroine pregnant with OM baby, he’s married but never told the h. Some drama with this OM. No OW drama. Hero not a manwhore, celibate for “a while”. No cheating or sex with OP.

Trigger: in the past h shot two men who tried to rape het sister.

It’s the one I have been waiting for!

This is book four in the ‘Twisted Fox’ series but all books can be read as a standalone. In this book, we have Grace and Finn’s friends to lovers story.

This book intrigued me so much. In previous books, there was always the little crumbs that Grace and Finn would end up together but from reading the blurb and seeing that Grace was pregnant with another man and I wasn’t sure how this was going to turn out. Have no fear though, Charity brought together their story, one that was filled with love and all the feels.

Grace couldn’t be in a worse situation. Single and pregnant by a married man (she didn’t know he was married) and knowing how her parents would react, she was in utter despair. This is where Finn steps in pretending to be the baby daddy.

This is where things change for the couple, Finn moves in with Grace and secrets are laid out bringing them closer together until the moment of honesty arrives and I had heart eyes so bad for them.

I could not love Finn more in this book. He was honest, sweet, always there for Grace no matter what and behind closed doors had a dirty mouth that I loved!

There are cameos from previous characters and a few surprises and it was just like being with old friends, I love this groups of friends - can they be mine?? ☺️

This was an easy sweet read, low on the angst and one I didn’t want to end and I would love more from this couple, although I am now eagerly waiting for the final couple, Silas and Lola.

Sigh...Big heart emoji eyes...ALL.THE.FEELS!!!

Finn and Grace are not only friends, but they are friends within a group of friends that have been coupling off for the past couple of years. It may seem like pressure , but it's more than that, they actually do like like each other and neither of them want to mess up the dynamic of their personal friendship or the friendship within their group.

When Grace finds herself pregnant, the father is not the man she expected when she started her relationship with him. Ending things is the only way to move forward and raising her baby alone is how she's set her mind, but when Finn finds out he proves just how he's always been there for Grace over and over again as he steps up agreeing to be her fake baby daddy.

Just as Finn was wondering if he missed the opportunity to tell Grace exactly how he feels, who has been in front of him for years, he gets another opportunity when he gets to be her fake baby daddy. It may not be the ideal situation, or what he dreamed when it came to the two of them, but he's not missing out again. Grace and her baby will know exactly how he feels about the both of them and he's never letting them go.

This story is a beautiful journey between two friends who experience the joy (and hormones) of pregnancy together. Because they already cared about each other as friends for years, Finn was instantly on board to help out on a friend level. His willingness to care and help was super dreamy on a book boyfriend level. Finn pretty much pushed all of the other Twisted Fox guys out of the way and became number one by a mile!! Sorry guys, Finn is AMAZING!!

I’m pretty salty, to be honest. I’ve always liked Finn but after this book, I adore him. I’m salty because he’s so perfect and has bumped his way up to number one man of the series. We’ll see if he’s still there after Silas though! Hahah.

This is the fourth book of the Twisted Fox series—and it’s a delicious friends-to-lovers. Best friends, to be exact. Finn and Grace have always had a deep connection but have never acted on it. Then Grace gets the surprise of her lifetime. She’s pregnant. And no, the baby daddy isn’t Finn.

That’s when they come up with a plan to pretend Finn is the baby daddy. She has strict parents, even if she is an adult! The two being together, though? It’s inevitable! It’s just too bad they weren’t able to communicate how much they loved each other beforehand. Understandable why they never said anything to one another.

Overall, it’s always so fun to read a series about friends. We get to catch up with the other characters and that’s always fun!

Chaser had my heart engulfed in love from start to finish. I couldn’t put it down and never wanted it to end! Finn stole the show and is such an amazing person! He is such a protector, giver and lover while his loyalty is endless. The way this man stepped up, never faltered, and was there no matter what was breathtakingly beautiful. Grace is beautiful, sweet and such a lovely person and I wanted to defend her in every way. I adored their friends and family. You need to read this book for the school, the baby shower, and Grace’s dad alone.
What he said to Finn made my heart burst with some much love and joy. Finn and Grace have each been through so much, but they are perfect for each other. Their passion for each other is off the charts, but their devotion to each other is amazing! I would love for Finn to chase me for life and call me his everything!

sometimes is fun to watch men actually struggling with OM drama.

even if the other man in this was a piece of shit and didn’t deserve anything at all.

i’m not giving it more starts bc something was missing between the main characters....i liked them but there was so much going on it kinda felt like their romance was put on hold and we didn’t get a chance to see them flirting, teasing each other and the sex scenes were nothing more than basic.

but i still liked it and thought they were cute together, definitely gonna come back for lola and silas (i hope they keep on the same track and includes only other man drama otherwise i’m fighting silas, my girl lola doesn’t deserve this)

also liked how the women and staff at the school she worked supported her when she told her side of the story!!! that was wholesome. :))

I have been reading these books whenever i'm in the mood for a quick and easy read & I have been loving the Twisted Fox series so far. I love the expanding story of each couple in the friend group although, with Chaser I was really thrown off by the references of Grace's pregnancy bump and the timelines of when she is showing and how much she is showing, it made it appear very unrealistic from my perspective and that was just something that bothered me. It was very cute to read and i love the classic nice girl from a nice family meets the nice troubled boy who comes from a not so great family and ends up having a beautiful family. I cant wait to see what is next for the Twisted Fox series in the next book!

Surprise Baby, Fake Relationship, Friends to Lovers what more could you want? I for one couldn‘t want anything more.

Finn and Grace have been friends for so long. They both harbour secret feelings for eachother that they‘re both afraid to admit. When Grace finds out she‘s pregnant from her ex. Finn steps up to help Grace out. Who thought it would turn to something so much more!

I really enjoyed Finn and Grace‘s story. We‘ve seen glimpses of their friendship throughout this series but to see it from their perspective was so great.
Finn is such a sweetheart! You can just fall in love with him so easily! Grace is a sweet girl who usually never does anything „not good“ so it was a big surprise for all when she turns up to be pregnant on accident first.
This friendgroup is one of my favorites. They all stick together and can keep eachother in line!
Charity‘s writing flows so great through the book. She‘s made me feel so much for both characters and their pasts and presents.

This is a friends to lovers romance with a twist! See what I did there!? Grace and Finn...we’ve seen them in the first 3 books of this series and we know there is something from Grace’s past that haunts her at night but we don’t know what it is until well into this book. We don’t know anything about Finn until this book except that he’s the bouncer at Twisted Fox and met Cohen years ago. We learn about Finn and his connection with Grace’s family. We learn about the type of man that he is. And we learn just how perfect the two of them are together! Another great couple in this series and Silas and Lola’s story is perfectly set up in this book. I can’t wait for it!

This friends to lovers romance was a cute, swoon-worthy read!

Grace finds herself in quite a pickle that I don't think anyone saw coming - at least not from her.

Finn steps up for his best friend even though it feels like he just got punched in the gut. He is THE ultimate good guy!

I love this series and can't wait to see what Charity Ferrell has in store for us.

Ugh, I don't wanna be harsh. But I really didn't enjoy this book. The whole set up of a fake baby daddy was super weird and I get that it's fiction but no. I didn't enjoy the writing style as well. Overuse of the whole I will do anything for you, every ten pages Finn was saying this. I get it dude.... sorry for the dislike

Each Twisted Fox book from Charity Ferrell is better then the one before. We're swiftly drawing close to the end of this series, and I am not ready for this group of friends to have had all of their stories told.

Chaser is Grace and Finn's book. Grace and Finn are one of the couples who flirt around with each other, are physically affectionate with each other, but haven't crossed the line into dating. Each comes with their own set of fears and baggage and neither one wants to upset the friendship between them.

Grace had finally decided to try and move on romantically from Finn by dating the new principal at the school she teaches at. All was going well, until his wife showed up. The wife NO ONE knew he had. To cap that off, Grace has found that she is also pregnant. By the cheating scum.

Struggling with her situation and how she is going to explain this to her family, Grace slowly begins admitting she is pregnant to her group of friends. The father of the baby remains a mystery to most of them, with only Chasity and Georgia knowing the truth.

The group finally sees a way to push Grace and Finn off of the friendship cliff and into deeper emotional waters and ties. Finn is hesitant to play Grace's fake boyfriend and baby daddy at first. Finn comes with a past that he has worked very hard to hide from Grace and most of the others in the group.

With an addict for a father, a mother who accidentally overdosed when he was a toddler, and a long family history of addiction, crime, and theft: Finn doesn't see himself as someone who is good enough for Grace. Or her child. He wants the world for both of them, but he doesn't see himself fitting into it.

Grace on the other hand is struggling with all the changes in her life that have turned it upside down. Learning she is the other woman. Learning she is not the only woman who is currently pregnant by her former lover, and even more surprising is her former lover's inability to give Grace up. It is making for an excessively uncomfortable work environment as the principal becomes more and more jealous and possessive towards Grace. Added on that heap is the fact that Grace doesn't know how to explain to her family HOW she became pregnant let alone WHO the father really is.

Bringing Finn home to meet the parents seems like the best option there is. Finn gets through a trial run with Grace's sister Faith and her husband Brian. Brian helps Finn out by hiring him allowing Finn to give up his night shifts at the Fox in order to be home for Grace and the baby. Mainly for Grace. She's still not comfortable being home alone at night.

Both Grace and Finn have secrets they are keeping from each other to try and preserve the personas they have with each other. Neither wants to admit to past mistakes and flaws. Unfortunately, life comes barreling in and wrecks that. Grace's father recognizes Finn immediately. We learn a bit more about Finn's teen years and his own past. Grace has a breakdown one night while Finn is the only one home. Faith comes running in to help, but Grace finally has to confess to Finn what drives her fear of being home alone at night.

With the walls and the masks they've built up for each other crumbling, Grace and Finn finally settle into their true feelings for each other and agree to give their relationship an actual chance.

Finn learns that it takes more than just getting a woman pregnant to be a "real dad" and even those who don't have the very best role models from their childhood can be a child's safe space and comfort. He also learns that you can be a role model to your own parent. Finally he learns that not everyone will judge him for his past. Both Grace and her dad teach Finn this at different times and in different ways.

Grace learns that she doesn't have to be perfect. She also learns that trusting someone is difficult and if they break your trust it's okay to cut them out of your life. She learned that even if she has monsters in her closet, that doesn't mean she's broken or any less perfect to someone who loves her. She also learned that when you trust in what your heart is telling your mind, you could end up with an amazing partner.

I'm really looking forward to the final book in the Twisted Fox world, but at the same time, very sad. I have loved reading how this tight knit circle of people have moved from friends to family. Supporting each other, protecting each other, and standing up for each other. These have been some of my favorite books through the past year and I'll be sad to see them close.

When Grace Mitchell discovers she is pregnant and that the father of her child is not what he claimed to be, she makes the decision to raise her little one alone. However, she hates disappointing her loved ones and is lousy at lying, so when at a party someone jokes asking her if she is pregnant, she’s unable to lie, and needs think better how to tell her parents that she is pregnant. Thus arises the idea that her best friend pretends to be the father of his unborn child. Finn Duke is a charming man, hardworking and always ready to help his best friend. He has lived in love with her for many years but due to his family background, the difference in social classes and certain aspects of his past, he does not feel worthy of Grace's love. For her part, Grace is also in love with Finn but like him, she has insecurities for which she has kept her crush as something purely platonic. Now that they are faking a relationship is the perfect opportunity to meet in other facets and express their true feelings.

Chaser is a book that involves topics such as friendship, platonic love, surprise baby and the whole process of motherhood. Grace and Finn have been restraining each other for years, they both like each other and once they are sincere, all the love and passion they had in store explodes. Grace, who is naive and insecure at first, as her pregnancy progresses she discovers her maternal instinct, strengthens her character and shows remarkable personal growth. Finn is so perfect! While it was a shock to learn that his best friend would have a child from another man, his love for her is unconditional and infinite. Grace was already in love with him, and with all the actions and details Finn had with her throughout the pregnancy, she fell even more in love with him (and me too 🤭).

Chaser is a sweet, romantic story with a lot of steam and a small dose of drama. Totally recommended!

Original review

This book was provided by the author through Wildfire Marketing Solutions in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Charity Ferrell and Wildfire Marketing Solutions!

Chaser is the fourth book in the Twisted Fox series and tells the story of Grace and Finn. Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a standalone.

If you’ve read my other Charity Ferrell book reviews, you know that I love every book she has written. So it was no surprise that I really enjoyed Chaser and that I fell in love with Grace and Finn. Charity Ferrell has this way of creating interesting love stories with amazing characters that you cannot not enjoy. Chaser was such a good Romance read and I highly recommend it!

I really love Grace and Finn. I’m a sucker for the ‘best friends to lovers’ and the ‘fake relationship’ tropes, so Grace and Finn’s story was perfect for me. I really love Finn because he’s such a caring guy and he’s an amazing boyfriend. I also really like Grace because she’s your usual ‘good girl’ but she ends up getting pregnant. I think that Grace and Finn are perfect for each other, and I’m so glad that I’ve read their story!

Chaser was another amazing read by Charity Ferrell and I’m really enjoying the Twisted Fox series. The next book in the series will unfortunately be the last one it the Twisted Fox series, so I’m going to be so sad. I really love this book series, and I’ve already read the Blue Beech series. But luckily for me, Charity Ferrell has written other books so I might check them out after finishing the last book, Last Round.

This one was really sweet! Fin and Grace have the kind of pull that cannot be ignored, even though they're trying. Seeing them as side characters in the previous books made me very interested to see their relationship on a deeper level. I was completely invested in them before I even opened the book. This is one thing I am loving about this series of interconnected standalones--I am invested in all of the characters finding their HEA! This book also features a trope that I really love in romance books, and that is a man’s dedication to the woman he loves, even if they’re not together! Finn is just such a caring male lead. I really appreciated everything he did in this book for Grace. Of course it can't be that easy between these two best friends though. Grace 's overthinking was justifiable, but definitely made me want to talk some sense into her. The journey for these two is a little messy, but I'm so glad I got to read it. This friend group is just so great and I love seeing them all come together. I'm pretty excited to see what happens to Silas and Lola in Last Round after what occurs during this book between them! Book one, Stirred, is still my favorite, but this one was definitely a good one. Thank you to Charity Ferrell and Wildfire Marketing Solutions for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

Grace and Finn have been friends for years. They have also been attracted to each other for years, but neither one of them really acted on their feelings.

I really loved Grace and Finn’s friendship. Finn is always there for Grace and was always someone she could rely on and talk to. Now that Grace is pregnant from her ex, Finn steps up to be there for her by pretending to be her fake boyfriend and baby daddy. The connection between them continues to grow and their true feelings towards each other come to the surface.

Both Finn and Grace are hiding something from the other about their pasts and it is something that both of them struggle with still to this day, Grace especially at times. My heart broke for the two of them, but once they told the other they were able to lean on the other for support.

It is always nice to get more of the previous couples and I am dying to see what happens next with the last single pair in this group!

If you’re looking for a friends to lovers, fake relationship, surprise baby romance this is one to check out.

I have been so excited for Finn & Grace’s book & it did not disappoint. These two were unbelievably cute together. They were meant to be. You could tell these two had a special bond & I’m so happy they finally got their happily ever after! They were meant to be parents & I can’t wait to see more of this cute little family in the next book.

Finn was such a stand up guy, & even though he had a rough childhood he worked hard to overcome it. He made a life for himself & created a family of friends. It’s one of the things I love about this series is how this group of friends is more like a family.

I always thought Grace was so quiet but she had more in her past than I ever thought. Although man did she have bad taste in men, I mean besides the amazing Finn. I also loved getting to see Faith & Brian I loved their characters.

This was another amazing addition to a really great series. All the hints we’ve been getting regarding Lola & Silas only has me more excited for their book!

What do you do when you find out your best friend that you’re not so secretly, secretly in love with is pregnant with another man’s baby? Why you become her fake boyfriend of course. I have watched Grace and Finn in the other books fight their attraction to each other, so I knew their story was one I couldn’t wait to get my hands on and I was not disappointed.

Grace and Finn are just perfect together and I knew once they decided he’d be her “fake” boyfriend, things would progress quickly. I swooned so hard over Finn, it’s not even funny. I can only dream of having a man like Finn. The way he doted on and took care of Grace made my heart melt into a big ol’ pile of goo lol. I may or may not have clapped and yelled a “finally” when they gave in to their feelings and went for it. Great story and it may just be my favorite among the couples so far. I absolutely CANNOT wait for Silas and Lola!

⭐️⭐️⭐️ “It’s all fun and games, joking about someone being pregnant, until it’s the girl you’re in love with.”

What You’ll Find:
✔️Bestfriends to Lovers
✔️Surprise Pregnancy
✔️Fake Relationship
✔️Cinnamon Roll Hero
✔️Dual POV

MINI REVIEW
I was excited to read this one when I seen it was a) A book by this author and b) A Surprise Pregnancy, since I adore both. But unfortunately this one wasn’t quite my jam. It felt much younger than I expected. A bit repetitive at times. It’s definitely a fun and light read for the most part, with no real conflict that may will enjoy! Complete with a bit of a cinnamon roll hero who is there for her, 1000%- which was sweet. But it was just missing something for me. Fans of NA romance will likely adore it so check it out! I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Book 4 in the Twisted Fox series and it was such a great addition to the series. A great fake romance/friends to lovers romance. Loved Grace and Finn. Grace found out that her boyfriend had a wife and she thought that once she cut off the relationship that she wouldn’t have to deal with him again. That is until she finds out that she is pregnant. To help be able to break the news to her parents, her friends decide to ask her best guy friend Finn to be the baby daddy. Little did she know that he has been love with her since they met. What started out as a fake relationship will turn into something much more real and I was all for it. Love these type of tropes and Ms. Ferrell knew how to create characters and a world that will have you falling in love and never wanting to leave.

I have been working my way through Charity Farrell’s Twisted Fox audios, and I think this might be my favorite yet. I love fake dating, add in a pregnancy for the reason behind the fake dating and I am just a sucker.

I have been waiting through the others to see what would come from Grace and Finn and I was not disappointed. They are total opposites that attract and couldn’t be more perfect for each other.

Grace has recently had her world turned upside down and Finn is there to help her pick up the pieces, and then they become more, and I just loved it all.

The narrators for this one were fantastic. I have really enjoyed hearing new to me voices that allow themselves to cement their voice as the character.

I think this was my favorite in this series by far. Grace has always been interesting to me. Its always the quiet reserved ones isn't it? Diving into the reason why she didn't want to be alone at home about gutted me. I guess I did not expect that at all.
Finn was such a sweetheart. I kinda pictured him as a little rough or a playboy kinda guy and I was so wrong. He was everything Grace needed.
I loved getting little updates on other characters and their lives as well. I'm so looking forward to seeing Lola and Silas because of the one scene that leaves you going... wait what?
Gavin... someone get rid of that guy already. Eww.
Another great book in the Twisted Fox world.
