First comes love, second comes scandal, third comes a secret which could end it all...
Jiwon and I screwed up and it has left Onyx in such a precarious position that Korean fans are picketing the dorms.
While Atlantis is backing the group, it's not without changes. I’ve been relegated as a second photographer joins the tour and it’s one more person who we have to hide our real dating secret from.
Hiding their relationship from the world seems like the easiest thing to Onyx, but with the world tour continuing, and even more attention on them then before, we’ve got their work cut out.
At least, for now Youngbin, Xiao, Jiwon, JongB, MinMin, CX and I have each other.
Except, this time, I’m the one with a secret.
The kind of secret which could finally undo all the hard work and destroy everyone's dreams...
The kind of secret that is life-changing...
The kind of secret that will make or break the relationship...
Ji Soo Lee is the Korean name of this Texan Korean-American author. She spends most of her days lost in a K-Pop haze, which inspired her to start writing stories about her idols at Atlantis Entertainment.
Under the name Ji Soo Lee, you will find YA contemporary romances, with romance levels like a K-Drama.
Under J. S. Lee, Ji Soo writes steamier stories, mainly of Reverse Harems.
i think this might be my favourite of the series so far, i love the drama so much and it’s just such a fun series <33 i’m so glad i picked it up bc i was really struggling to get out of my slump and now i can’t stop reading lolol
YES! +More "reverse harem" goodness! +Things are way way way complicated for Kate and Onyx, but they are making it work! +DP!!! And a foursome with some M/M action! +I don't want to feel bad for Anita, but dang. That girl...I hope she gets the help that she needs. +Drama to the extreme, even though it's my least favorite Romance trope.
NO! -Sure Kate's Korean must be getting better, but I cannot suspend belief enough to accept that she speaks and understands this well. -Same typos as the previous books and series, but more noticeable. -Least favorite Romance trope.
So much going on and soooo much to hope for. I have an idea and so hope I am right about what's next. I can not rave enough about how amazing this series is. And what an ending...I didn't really see this coming in an Idol book, lol.
And just like that I'm back in!! This one has for sure brought us a whole new set of problems but also questions. I don't want to voice them and then get all sad if it doesn't happen so I'll keep quiet but super excited to read the final book!
I think imma reread this series honestly I wasn’t happy with this book as I was with 1-3 I felt like in book 3 her and minmin’s relationship made progress but in book 4 idk .. besides the grammatical errors it felt a bit rushed and predictable in a way . I think I want to rereads he series and see what was off with book 4 like it felt like something was missing with it . Substance maybe ?! Idk . I’ll totally read book 5 though . But idk what’s off with book 4 for me .
I did have a question though in the Atlantis universe are all the heroines some how going to be working for Atlantis or directly w holly to find there Kpop love interests or will we meet non entertainment heroines who meet the guys by chance obvious j.s. Lee has a great vision for the Atlantis universe I’m just wondering about future heroines and there backstories . I’m still a big fan of Atlantis universe .
Going to reread and looking forward to all that’s in store Atlantis universe wise :) thank you for the book
Received ARC from Author for Honest Review. I Give this book a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 5.
I will most definitely be buying this book!
Cliffhanger(?): Yes!! 😍🥰
Heat: 4.5/5, it for the book perfect we’ll! Romance: 5/5 Drama: Again J.S.Lee writes her books with logical drama that just absolutely captivates me! Suspense: I was on the edge of my seat the enter time.
I did find this book a much quicker read than previous, but it’s probably just me cause I devoured this series lol As soon as I opened this book i forgone sleep so I could read this in one go! I LOVE Sungmin, I want him in the fold!! Love love love him!!! I NEED the next book so badly!
I’m obsessed this Author, I will never stop reading her books! I completely recommend this book, and everything else she writes! :D
This series just keeps getting better. I usually don't like series with so many guys because I always feel like some don't get as fleshed out as others or I don't like one or two of them, but the author has done so well at creating very distinct characters and I love them all.
Okay, so, baby? Yes! At first I wasn't sure I wanted that, but I can see why it is important to the story and I'm excited to see the future of Onyx as a group, not just the relationship.
Sungmin? Oh yes yes yes! Pleeeease let this be a thing. I have been wanting this since the beginning and I loved the scenes with him and Kate.
I need Onyx: Forever yesterday. This book felt like it flew by and I barely had time to get into the story before it was over. I can't wait for more!
In some ways, this surprised me, in other ways I was anticipating a couple of the events that happened. But I did have fun revisiting these characters and seeing how their relationship continued to develop. I'm very curious about Sungmin and what will happen with him in the final book. I am also interested to see how everything is going to wrap up. If anyone deserves a HEA, it's this group of people for all the drama they've had to deal with. My only frustrating here, and the reason I dropped one star, was that the editing felt very rushed this time around. Lots of spelling and grammar issues that were quite jarring. This aside though, this was still a fun, engaging read that I couldn't wait to continue with. Also, the covers for Lee's series' are absolutely awesome. This is no exception.
Unity begins right after our cliffhanger ending from Love (the car crash if you recall!). Kate and her K-Pop men continue to try to navigate poly relationships while being part of the public eye while they continue to tour.
Unity felt like a whirlwind. It flew by so quickly and so many things happened. Kate and Onyx’s relationship deepens and changes, leading to extremely hot and sexy situations.
And I’m curious about what will happen with Sungmin, the manager. His friendship with Kate seems to be evolving…
And oh that ending. I kinda could read between the lines and guess what was happening but was still surprised when it did. Can’t want for more!
I devoured this book as I have done with the others in this series! As much as the scandal has put a strain on Onyx, Kate and her Onyx lovers Youngbin, Xiao, Jiwon, JongB, MinMin and CX are still as strong as ever. I love that nothing is swaying their care and feelings for each other. I love how Kate is so attentive to each of them and they all help each other through the hard times. I am extremely ready for book 5 though because that ending! I need more!
I can not wait to see where this goes. I love these characters all so much. I’m going to be so sad when this series is over. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Katie ends up with a seventh man because I just love him. I don’t want to give away spoilers but if you read this book then you know who I’m talking about.
J.S. Lee has managed something amazing. This book is full of twists and turns, leading you on and bam...change of plan. I am so looking forward to the next installment. This series is a must read for all fans of reverse harem and Kpop, adults only but sooo good.
My poor heart! This series is so amazing. I'm glad that JongB and Jiwon took over, this story just gets better and better. If I make this review too long, I'll give the story away. So take my word, READ THIS! So good!
I'm still addicted to this series, but I find myself increasingly angry over things that are probably just cultural differences. I doubt I would enjoy this series because of the Korean culture if it wasn't a reverse harem.
I’m still enjoying this series. Not sure if I’ll read the next book though. I know you need drama and angst to keep books interesting but it was a little too stressful for me. Took away from my ability to relax and enjoy the story.
I need to go to bed. Lots of crying and whining in this one, though it is justified. Honestly, the best part was Kate and Sungmin's interactions - he needs a friend.
