Grim Reaper Academy is a prison, and my father is the jailor. Since he’s been appointed Headmaster, he’s been changing all the rules. There’s a curfew now, students are not allowed to gather in groups, and all connections with the outside have been cut. And don’t think that because I’m his daughter, the rules don’t apply to me. On the contrary, he’s even more of a tyrant. He’s forbidden me from seeing my lovers, GC and Paz. He says he’ll find me a match worthy of my name.
Unfortunately for him, I am my father’s daughter. I do not break. I don’t even bend. And just to piss him off, I won’t only keep dating GC and Paz, but I might even adopt Sariel and Francis, too.
***Author's Note: This is book 3 in the Grim Reaper Academy series, intended for mature audiences. Please be advised that it may contain situations that are triggering to some, profanity (way more than in my previous books!), and a lot of steam.
Cara Wylde loves to write about strong, feisty women and their hot Alphas who will do anything to make them happy. Her books are filled with romance and just a dash of mystery, suspense, and that eerie atmosphere she fell in love with reading too many gothic novels. With a master's degree in Comparative Literature, she can't help but play with tropes and themes from various genres, trying to come up with fresh perspectives on the paranormal characters her readers love so much. Vampires, shape-shifters, demons, witches... Cara will always make sure they get their own twists.
When she's not writing, Cara is reading, planning her next story, or daydreaming. Her idea of pure heaven is a day filled with nothing but her laptop, a huge coffee pot, relaxing music, and a new, exciting project.
I am not being very consistent in my rating as I liked book 3 more than book 2 but less than book 1.
Year three. Valentine Morningstar took control of Grim Reaper Academy and went all Umbrage on them. He might not wear pink, but he knows his way around a totalitarian system. Students are not allowed to form groups anymore, to communicate with each other or the outside world, change out of their uniforms or even breath the wrong way.
Mila is back at the Academy after two months of intense reaping in stead of her father. She has barely seen her boyfriends and the new rules sure don't make it easy for them to get some action or even a bit of cuddles. Expect very few steamy scenes in Saving Year Three. But being back at the Academy means seeing her friends again. And as much as the school became a prison, they find away to meet in secret and try to plot Morninstar's demise.
Grim Reaper Academy is a Harry Potter retelling but unlike many of others, it doesn't try to hide this fact. What started with a magical school became a much darker story of prophecy, sacrifices and dictatorship. And like Harry Potter, Mila is getting dumber by the day.
I don't dislike her, but I just don't like her anymore. She might have got over her bitchy behavior from book two but she became even more impulsive. She doesn't think, ever. She does stupid things just because she feels like it and has to watch everybody deal with the result. Mila Lazarov/Angelov/Morningstar is weak. But because a prophecy might or might not have said she was to retire her father, she acts as she owns it.
But as ridiculous as Mila is, I still very much enjoy following her and her bunch of brain dead friends. Many things happen in a book and the plot is solid as over the place as it appears to be. And Saving Year Three ends up in one hell for a shocking explosion.
Thank you for providing me this ARC.
Trigger Warning: the book talks a lot about self harm, more than the previous ones. Also suicidal thoughts and blood sacrifices.
From 3 stars in book 1, to 4 in book 2, and now I’m a full on crazy fangirl.
Mila has changed in every book and the one we meet here starts off a little broken. Her journey to awesomess was rocky at best. When you thought things couldn’t get any worse they kept on going downhill. This one also featured the least naughty scenes but it wasn’t missed with all the subterfuge and plotting. There was an added layer of tense that I fully appreciated. This series has gone from a “meh” start to something really exciting. That’s not easy and goes against this trend of struggling to finish a series I’ve found myself in. It’s usually a brilliant start and then every sequel is a disappointment. Maybe because this started the other way around I should revisit some of those sequels I never got back to after a mediocre start??
It was always unique with Grim Reapers being the focus of the school. But it was also nice to find more twists and originality appearing to keep it fresh.
And wow that ending. Not a cliffhanger just....
The Mila we’re going to meet in book 4 is going to be the best yet!
Ok so this is book 3 of .. maybe 4/5 I still really really don’t like the harem none of them are interesting they all act like I mature childish teens/children.
At first I was like
I’m sure lots of people would enjoy this book. It has shock value. The sex scenes read like a 15 yr old male wrote porn and how he thought the female MC is feeling. So completely and totally unrealistic and so completely cringe.
In saying all this and giving it 3 stars I will read the next book ... soooo
Things have drastically changed at Grim Reaper Academy now that Mila’s daddy dearest has taken over as headmaster. Talk about being a buzzkill, he completely turns what should be their final year into an awful affair. Hell he even ruins their social lives just as Mila is making friends. I did enjoy this book a bit more but I still hate how nonchalant the homophobic undertones are here, it’s disconcerting. Mila even makes up a bit of rumor & gossips that two of the guys are ‘gay’ and it was just really uncomfortable. Most of her peers are completely sexist and antiquated which was a joke but I guess just shows how no matter what kind of people they are, they’re just as filled with hate and vitriol as regular humans 😣
Okay, I wasn't expecting that ending. Valentine reminded me of Umbridge in Harry Potter book 5 with all his rules and overseeing the teachers and stuff. Mila's dreaming thing was very interesting. I wonder what is going to happen to the prophecy, now that things ended the way they did.
Wow, just wow. The last few pages have completely blown my poor mind!!! I need more, I seriously read this entire series in less than 2 days. I loved every bit of this story and Mila is such a bad arse. I flipping love her!!! She's human in a world of paranormals and she makes the best of it. I seriously can't wait for the next book, I'm addicted.
Oh my goodness, this book was freaking amazing! It just keeps getting better and better. I love the chemistry with the characters.
This is the first year that Mila's father Valentine Morningstar is Headmaster of the Academy. He is doing everything to keep her busy and away from her boyfriends GC and Paz. There is a protest looming over Mila to retire her father, but she has no clue how. In the meantime she starts going through some issues because of what her father is putting her through. Oh and don't forget about Sariel and Francis. Something happens with these two guys but what? New loyalties are formed which blew my mind. Then the unthinkable happens and I literally screamed. could not believe it happened.
The build up for this book gets crazy with a few hot scenes. It does end with a cliffhanger. Be prepared.

First off, this book (like most bully-romance) had now taken the turn in the ARC where part enemies are friends or lovers as the characters come together to battle it out against the bad guy - in this case, Mr. V. Morningstar. There focus is on trying to find a way to take him out while he tries to stifle and alienate our main characters. Mila comes back with sass and kick-@$$ attitude. I don't know whether to be sad because there is going to be a Book 4 or happy. I want to know the ends of this story, but at the same time I don't. Either way, this next book promises to bring a fight.

*Spoiler Alert* Year 3 in the Grim Reaper Academy is a darker than previously books or at least i think so. Valentine Morningstar is making his present known and making Mila, her guys(GC & Paz as well as Sariel & Francis) and the rest of the Academy a living hell. With changing rules and guards watching their every move. With secrets are uncovered, friendships are tested, lies and murder this series is so good. Mila is one brilliantly bad*** character and the ending floored me in this one but in a great way. Cant wait to see where its leads in the next book
Didn’t see that ending coming! Or the other thing! I was getting pretty bummed out because the book was just... depressing. Everyone is miserable and under the dictator Morningstar, and Mila is no exception. I was losing hope that the tide would turn. And it didn’t. It got worse.
Until it didn’t again.
And then? No and then. We have to wait for book 4. Looking forward to that one.
Loved year three. We have co much anger and secrets. We have Mila who is so upset on what her father did to the Academy. There is so many rules can she follow them? Can she keep away from her 4 guys? Will her arch enemy join them? Will her father kill her or will she kill him? What are the truths and what are the lies? Will Mila have the courage to do go against her father?

This is a fab series and this third book just compliments it even more! This incredible series is fast paced and each book continues on from the next and each are highly addictive and is filled with action, adventure, danger, drama, mystery, suspense, twists and turns, romance, passion and fantastic characters and i just cannot put these down!
Hmmm ... Good but not great. I think I've pinpointed the problem. I want the guys in this book to be more alpha, more powerful. In the first book they started as these larger than life characters with interesting stories. They are nothing more than window dressing in the last two books. Mila is growing some, but just not enough. This book left me feeling frustrated and powerless.
Why? Oh why? I felt it was getting better and then we had this... I felt Mila was inconsistent. Again. Especially it bothered me in relationship building. There was no progress with GC and Paz, which could be explained to some extent, however, I hated the borderline cheating or at the very least not being totally honest about Sariel and Francis. Too many things were too easy for her.
So it's year 3 and things are getting weird. Mila now has her Father in her life, but hates it. Stepan has been keeping secrets and Mila is determined to find out what it is. Valentine is taking over everything, making life a literal living hell and Mila is so done with it. She tries to learn all she can about the so called prophecy but there is little to be found. Her friends, which now include Lorna, Sariel, Francis, Jole and Patty, as well as GC and Paz, are helping her in anything she can think of to free them of Morningstar's wrath. She learns things about herself and him but will it be enough to overthrow his tyranny? Will she be able to keep her friends from getting hurt or worse? It's all coming to a head and she thinks she knows how to finish it. Is she running head long into danger again? Well no spoilers here. You'll have to read to find out. Definitely a must read, I couldn't put it down.
This is the third book in the Grim Reaper Academy series by Cara Wylde and it was incredible! She has created a unique paranormal reverse harem and once I started reading I couldn’t but it down. Mila is back at the academy but her father has changed everything and with guards everywhere her access to the boys is limited. But rules are meant to be broken and she finds ways around her father. With help from her friends, Mila needs to find out more about her father and the prophecy and make things right. This book is full of adventure, twists and turns, is fast paced and action packed. I can’t wait to read more about Mila and the Academy!
This Mila's deadliest year yet her father is and evil tyrant and one scary Reaper hes running things and ruining lives what's his end game will Mila ever get her boy's back and that pesky prophecy can she be the one to end Morningstar maybe or maybe not and when it's over those that betrayed Mila are going to get some very nasty surprises from Mila's friends one more year to go I bet it's going to be a real Reaper of a year.
This is my honest review I have read this book threw Kindle Unlimited.
So Valentine has turned the academy into an institution and not a good one. He’s tried to tell Mila who she shouldn’t be with, I’m interested to see who he think she should be with though…
Trigger warning for self harm
Wowzers! This was epic!
The plot has thickened even more and now we’re finding out more about prophesies. Mila is coming into her own badass nature and picked up a few surprising allies along the way.
This book got even better then the last one! I could not stop reading it till the very end! I wonder if she gets her own set of wings? I wonder if her fallen angel gets a set of black wings? Ugh so many questions! Lol I loved this book so much! Time to jump in to book 4!
I've gotten better at doing reviews. It's so hard to do them without spoilers and I never put spoilers bc I don't want to tempt anyone. This book I'm completely mystified. It is as good as the first two and what happened at the end is unbelievable. Keeps talking about a prophecy. I'm not sure how that's going to work out but I'm on the edge of my seat!
Amei.. De inimiga para amiga🤩🤩

Saving Year Three: A Reverse Harem Bully Romance (Grim Reaper Academy Book 3)
I absolutely loved 🥰 this book… Mila is a kick ass … I love all the twists in the plot can wait to dive in to the book 4 - didn’t sleep all night was on,y going to read a chapter or two, but I couldn’t put this book down well let’s see what happens next.. definitely recommend this book 📖!!!!
Rating: 4.3-STAR Age: R Grim Reaper, her father, is now Academy Headmaster. He's changes all the rules. There's a curfew. He's even more of a tyrant. He's forbidden her from seeing her boyfriends, GC and Paz.
This book is much more depressing than the first two. Only one very brief steamy scene. The writing still isn’t my favorite. The plot is still interesting, so I’m moving on to book four.
