I actually read the hardback set of this series and WOW. First of all, it is a gorgeous beast to have in your hands.
As I was reading these stories for the second time, I found myself in awe of Claven's talent all over again. I was pulled into the dark and twisted world within these pages. Scenes played out like a horror movie in my mind and it was awesome. This was originally the first series I read from this author and it still ranks up there with one of my favorites.

This box set definitely did not disappoint. It read like you were reading out of the doctor's personal journal. He kept notes about all his thoughts, feelings, experiments, etc. As time went on the doctor went mad.... then nurses went mad... You just need to read this book to get the jist of it. No words can describe how awesome this boxset was. Once you start reading, you literally cannot stop.
