~Diary of the Spawn Mother~

Entry #23

Went to the store because I ran out of diapers… Me. I ran out of diapers. Not my children. ME.

Entry #38

This morning I bit Aidan’s hand like a rabid dog. Father of my children or not, he went for my last piece of dark chocolate, which is my only vice now that I have young who suckle from my teats.

Entry #47

I’m determined to fit back into my skinny jeans. Option 1: Cut off one of my legs. Option 2: Go to the gym.

This is gonna hurt…

Another fun Sibby story. Love the side characters and the drama of her taking care of the kids. Hope a certain someone and Bash get their own book

Sibby Goldstein-Kincaid is the hot mess mom we all knew she would become. But beneath the stained shirt, lacking eyebrows, and dramatic streak, her story is one that all women can something relate to and appreciate.

Sibby is trying to make the best out of motherhood. With twins Sophie and Oliver, she feels like all she does is whip out her breasts and change diapers. Her seemingly perfect husband Aidan is preoccupied with his new business, and Sibby is feeling alone and overwhelmed as the world around her keeps changing.

Reading this book leads to laughter, tears, empathy, and a beautiful understanding of what it means to be a mom in today’s world. This was the perfect next installment in the Sibby series!

I very much enjoyed stepping back into Brooklyn and visiting with Sibby and friends! This book is very lighthearted read that also deals with some major life issues like postpartum to friendships and relationships changing and not knowing what to do about it. Samantha Garman has a way of telling a story and making it okay to not have your whole life together at 30. Especially, because you can laugh with Sibby while her life is falling apart. (she may or may not have learned to stay away from fire yet lol)
I would suggest not reading this book in public, as I did. Randomly laughing out loud at the gym gets you some strange looks, so will falling off a couch... just sayin'. I might have a bit of Sibby's Law in me.
I love reading anything by Samantha Garman and Emma Slate for many reasons but one of the main ones is that everything isn't heavily descriptive instead its full of dialogue so that the story keeps moving and doesn't get lost.
Please keep giving us books we can love and laugh with! It makes the World a little brighter!
Can Sibby teach me to sniff out tacos? I would love that super power!

This book was just as good as the first three. Seeing them navigate being parents and seeing them grow as husband and wife. Of course anything that could go wrong would with hilarious outcomes for Sibby, she is still a walking disaster and gets into hilarious situations. These books are so funny. Kinda hoping we get an Annie book after that ending.

Loved it

Very well written. I laughed so much throughout the book. Sibby and Aiden amazing. I loved the characters. It definitely did not disappoint. I was hoping to have some sort of closure with Annie and Caleb, which l feel the author did. Must read!!!

Oh my goodness!!! I absolutely loved Sibby's Spawn!! I'm 2 weeks away from my due date with my first child (daughter) and let me tell you... I feel way more prepared! If Sibby can survive her demon spawn twins, I can certainly handle my daughter!!

I'd give it way more than 5 stars if possible. It tackled some serious issues that new moms go through and when I said it made me feel more prepared, I wasn't lying. Sibby is my spirit animal.

Thank you for fulfilling my need for more Sibby. Please tell me the bonus epilogues are teasers for more books to come?! I love spin-offs and without giving anything away, there would be some seriously addictive stories that come out of those bonus scenes!!!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of Sibby's Spawn. My review is based solely on all of the emotions and hormones rushing through my overly pregnant body 😂

Need more

I started this series figuring it would be something cutesy. I fell in love with Sibby and Aiden, and this book was no different. Sibby is down to earth and relatable. I love when the main character is someone I would hang out with, instead of wondering how she’s so perfect. I know it’s the last, but I need more. I laughed out loud, I cried, I felt all the feels. Guess it’s time to check out the author’s other books. Thanks for bringing me Sibby!

2% into this book and I was laughing so hard at Sibby and Aiden’s conversation and antics. Everyone needs an Aiden! Unexpected turns have me waiting for more!!! I also loved the tie in with the Rex hotel. Once again Samantha hits it out of the ballpark.

I'm still in shock after reading this book. It was mind-blowing and absolutely fantastic.
I have been wanting to read this book for ages. So many things happen in it that it sounded very relate able. The author has literally wrote about all the emotions, thoughts, feelings and events that occur after having a baby. It made it very real. I laughed out loud so many times during the reading of this book that I woke my husband up who was sleeping at the time. I couldn't put it down and just wanted to find out what Sibby gets up to next.
I didn't like Annie in this book as she came across a little spiteful and very selfish. I couldn't get over what she does at the end.
I love Em and Sibby's building friendship. They had the chances of becoming very good friends but I think Annie's behavior at the end halted all chances of this ever happening. I want more Em and want to know what happens afterwards.
I adore Sibby and Aiden's relationship. They are there for each other and they talk to each other about their problems and try to find a solution which is how all relationships should be. Communication is vital to a long and happy marriage.
I am sad to see the series end but would love to read more about the adventures of Sibby as she embarks on new trials and tribulations of being the working mother of twins.
I could literally go on forever of what I liked about this book and what I thought about it but it would fill too many pages.
I received an ARC from the author. I voluntarily reviewed this book. This is my honest review.

This series is AMAZING!!! Seriously can we all have husbands like Aidan Kincaid? *Swoon*. I loved this series and I really hope it’s not over. It’s hilarious , sweet and a total binge read. I couldn’t put it down. I seriously need to find out what happens to Em and Bash though and maybe a full story about Caleb and Annie ? Married life ?? Maybe?? Please?! If you haven’t read these books yet do it . I’m probably going to re-read them again because I love Sibby’s world and I’m not ready to leave it yet !!

Love me some Sibby

This was so good. My only disappointment was how it ended so abruptly. I wanted more of an ending. Like a five years from now look , you know what I mean. I wanted to actually read about them playing in the snow with twins and Jasper too.
Sibby's LAW could actually be a thing lol!! The eyebrows was hilarious.
I hope this author revisits these characters....not ready for it to be over.
I highly recommend this series.

Upset but will be ok

I loved the Sibby series. The first three books were amazing. I waited and waited for this book I pre-order it when we could. The ending was the way it was supposed to be I couldn’t agree more however, I did not like how the ending came about. This book just seemed different than the others and to be honest if I didn’t read the ones before I was already invested I’m not for sure if I would’ve finished this one.

Oh my

So sad this series is over, can't say how much I've enjoyed it. Sibby was that one character you could not get enough of and Aiden was what every women would want for a partner. Throw in her non filter mouth, twins, crazy best friend, dog, cat polish mafia (yes I went there) locking parents up, I could keep going but really want to encourage you to read this series you will not be sorry, thanks Sam enjoyed all the laughs..😂😂😅

For anyone who has ever had a baby, this book will make you go OMG YES every five minutes. It was so very real and honest about the first few months after you have a baby, especially after your first. How your entire world just shifts and changes focus. It touch on postpartum depression. And just not feeling like yourself, and just feeling sad despite being happy all at the same time and that being okay, which is so incredibly important for new moms to hear. This is all with some crazy good humor because it wouldn't a Sibby book without the humor. It is and ending of the series which makes me so very sad but it was such an incredible ride throughout the four books that I read by chance because fade to black is usually not my thing. Oh and as an aside despite feeling awful for about the way she did it, good For Annie for getting her act together, you go girl and that's all I am going to say about that guess you will have to read to find out more.

Oh and yes please on more on Em!

Wow! I was hoping for it but not that way. But boy o boy it was awesome!

Post partum depression is real although not everyone who gave birth experience it but for some it could be devastating and scary at times. Sibby is very lucky to have Aidan support her and love her whole heartedly. Having 1 baby can be stressful what more having twins. A partner definitely helps in surpassing this stage and a good support group and Sibby got hers.

You can't beat true love. Sometimes you realized who that person you can't live without when that person might be really gone forever. Sometimes we thought we are ok but we are really not or just settling. From the last book I requested more part from Caleb and Annie and if course you delivered.

Can you write a book for Em too? I hate to see her broken hearted. She is a nice person and friend to Sibby.

Will there be continuation of Sibby's life in the upstate?

Man this book made me laugh out loud!!! I absolutely love Sibby and Aidan, their relationship is perfect! However, with her description of motherhood, I’m terrified of it😂 I have been married for 5 years, and we might now go 5 more until I’m ready for all of THAT😂

Anyways, loved this book and series! It made me laugh non stop. The main reason it didn’t get 5 stars is I didn’t like how it ended. Yes, I was happy that Caleb and Annie ended up together. However, the way it happened left a sour taste in my mouth. I wish that part would have been done differently, but hey, I’m not the author. Just my personal opinion!

Loved it all though!

Read this series if you want a good laugh!☺️

Love sibby

Love this series finished them all in 3 days. Sibby's spawn was great and as a newish mum I totally agree and relate to how she was feeling. It was great to see how she was changing and adapting but in a very sibby way to her new way of life. Samantha wrote a brilliant ending to this series and I am so glad I read them all!!

The final book in the Sibby collection and this one doesn't dissapoint. Sunny is a mom to twins and Adian is continue to expand the bar. Sibby is up to her normal tricks. This book won't disappoint. You do need to read the other books in this collection though. It's a funny book humour to suit my own and which most can relate to.

I love Sibby

I binge read all these books in a couple of days. I loved Sibby and her crew and her crazy klutziness. Book 4 was a little darker and deeper than the first 3, but the characters were so much like family by this time that could just roll with it. Mostly fun reading and a great cast of characters. Romance and city living and comedy. Doesn't get any better.

Alot of Sibby's views/dialogue of motherhood are exactly what I felt when I had my daughter in 2018 and that made me cherish this book so much! Definitely a good ride with funny moments as it always is with Sibby & the gang!

Loved the entire series, it had me wanting to laugh, cry and at times cringe with embarassment. Sibby is a brilliant character, she is relatable and you feel like you are along for the ride, and just want everything to work out for her.

Love the Sibby books! So easy to read and fun! Only negative is the misuse of “I” at least four times when it should have been “me” and then once near the end she used “me” when it should have been “I” Not a big thing, but it drives me nuts!!!

Have read first three books - FANTASTIC!

I’ve loved each and every one and can’t wait to start the fourth! Great rom-com stories. A little bit of every emotion you can imagine and still hilariously funny! On to Book 4!
