What a fun little read! I like cookbooks with pictures and that are enjoyable to read as much as they are to try out. While the images in these are paintings, they were still visually appealing and there were fun hidden gems in the writing of the recipes, too. Additionally, it’s full of Bob’s paintings and quotes which made it even better. I have a couple recipes I’m hoping to test out, too! The recipes seem simple enough for most skill levels and, in keeping with Bob’s philosophies, are all open to going with the flow.
I needed to find a little happy today and this was it! What an awesome little cookbook for fans of Bob Ross, with possibly the best introduction to a cookbook ever written! This little gem has all the great Bob Rossisms you know and love from the shows and includes bravery tests in a number of recipes. Bob would approve!
Got this today. It’s full of great, home cooking recipes. I can’t wait to try some of them. Interspersed throughout are paintings by Bob and encouraging words of wisdom.
“Happy little accidents in the kitchen can be just as joyful as painting!”
What a simple, kind-hearted, advice-giving book. I feel that Bob Ross and his heart for people and painting amazing scenes of nature is captured perfectly in this book. Plus food is always a good thing, every day. Enjoy the paintings and food!
The salmon croquettes were delicious, but the recipe needed an editor. Ingredients were mentioned in the recipe that weren't on the list, and the question of what to do with the breadcrumbs is never solved. We figured it out anyway. But it needed another run-through with testers.
