Disillusioned with her boring routine and nonexistent love life, math teacher Mischa Bennett decides to do something about it. On a whim, she orders The Velveteen, one of the most raved-about sex toys on the market. What she doesn’t expect is for the sexy toy company to fail to use discreet packaging, creating the perfect opportunity for a smoldering man in his prime to discover exactly what’s inside….
When park ranger Keith Summers takes a side gig as a delivery man to pay the bills, the last thing he expects is for super fast romance to happen when his dream woman opens the door to sign for her perfect package. Finding himself intrigued and unable to let it go, he is determined to show her that he has a prime package of his own, and he will do whatever it takes to make her hottest dreams come true. Will their racy romance begin and end at the doorstep, or will she open the door to a love that lasts forever?
I actually enjoyed this Short story. It was delightful easy read. The characters were written well and likeable. Obviously real life doesn't "move" this quickly, but it makes you wish it did. Who doesn't want to find the man of their dreams via a delivery?😉
This was a good read. I've been wanting to read a suburban / neighborhood romance, and this was a good one with a small town twist. I love a shy heroine in general, but the specific hot chemistry between the heroine and hero in this one was on point. As an added bonus, that nosy neighbor was HILARIOUS!! Overall, this one was fun.
A short and sweet read that felt like a full-length book! It was sexy, funny, and romantic. Loved how it ended. What made it more hilarious is that I got a prime package while reading it and couldn't stop laughing at the irony plus my delivery driver was a cutie. lol
If you're looking for a little quickie to make the time go faster, this story fits the bill. It's got some nice characters, hot spices, and a believable plot, to a degree. Editing needs a little work, but nothing that throws off the flow of the story.
Very good for such a short story. I loved the hotness between Keith & Mischa and had to laugh at the nosy neighbour! Bonus for the dual POV, epilogue and a HEA.
