Brazen: Be a Voice, Not an Echo

Rate this book
I couldn’t shake the anxiety and nervous tension. After seven months of pouring my heart, soul and guts into something so demanding and so intense, this was the moment of truth. We were one of the most watched Congressional campaigns in America and everyone “knew” Super Tuesday was just a stepping stone to get to November. Then the finality of the words came. Second place. The end of the road. Sean Feucht never backed down from a challenge and running for US Congress was no exception. From birth, there was a call on his life to dream about the impossible, and then partner with God to see miracles come about. From going to the darkest corners of the earth to starting a world-wide prayer and worship movement, Sean has been brazen as he resolutely pursues the call of God on his life. Sean poignantly shares the deep losses in his life and how God showed up inexplicably to always show Himself to be faithful and good. In Brazen, he shares a vulnerable story of trust and how God always shows up even in your darkest hour and seemingly greatest loss. Be inspired to see your circumstances in a new way.

Absolutely inspiring

This is the most inspiring and faith building book I’ve ever read. Sean’s ability to listen, obey, and trust God no matter what encourages me to keep going despite the obstacles. It has inspired me to look back at how God has used my creativity to speak into what has been happening and how He wants us to see things. This book has helped me to see through the eyes of faith, and to continue being a good steward of what God has entrusted me with. Even if it’s a bit “out of the box”, God’s outworking plan makes perfect sense in time. I didn’t want the book to end!

I have often said that there is a "special breed" of Christians who have fully surrendered to God. There are a few, out there, who don't have a single thing they'd refuse to do for God. Sean Feucht is one of those people, and his story is inspiring! Whether it's North Korea or Minneapolis, Afghanistan or Portland, Iraq or Washington DC — if it's from God, this guy is all in. I hope this book inspires a generation of people to live the same way.

I’m almost finished reading this book and WOW! Sean’s story, his heart for God and willingness to surrender everything to follow Gods calling for his life is exactly what this world needs in a leader. Sean reminds me of a Billy Graham for our generation! This book is easy to read and if you feel stuck in a season or feel that you’re in between seasons of life then this book is especially for you!

I was concerned this book would feel rushed as I read it, due to the current circumstances, and felt it would possibly end feeling unfinished. This book was far from either, except I guess it truly is unfinished in a passing of the baton sense. It’s so easy to fall into the trap of feeling those that are able to lift you up don’t have their own struggles. Sean’s book was very humbling to me, and reminded me just how much our leaders and pastors need us as much as we “need” them.

It’s basically an autobiography of Sean’s life up to church 2020. If you need motivation to be brave or if you’re looking for personal testimonies this is a good one to read. Or if you know nothing about him it explains.
If you’re looking for something deep and theological then this is not it.
There were a couple misspellings.
But overall it was an easy read for people new to the church or new to being led by the Lord or going where God calls you.

My heart is burning!!

Sean is setting the hearts of believers on fire!! We can no longer be passive and silent about what we believe. Thank you, Sean, for reminding us of the Holy Spirit power we have to draw others to the good news of Jesus! And thank you for sacrificing you and your family's lives to spread the message. It is the only hope for America and the world. Every believer needs to read this book!

EXCELLENT book!!! This young man has such a passion and zeal for worship and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations! God is using him to lead others to the foot of the cross! He listens and boldly obeys the voice of God! It's amazing and inspiring to read about how God has led him and helped him to speak out! I couldn't put the book down, and can't wait to read the next one called "Bold" !

Thank you Sean for writing this book

It took me a few months to get around to reading this book I bought in October I think. The timing though is perfect for the message of the last few chapters that really helped me feel God has plans for America. I was overwhelmed with all he has done, but it was important for me to read all of it that to see where he is now.

I absolutely loved this book. Sean’s story resonates a lot with my own and he lit a fire for missions in me again. More than just missions, though, this book was such a great reminder/testament to the fact that it is worth it to lay down our lives and follow Jesus into ANYTHING He calls us to. Not because we will get all the answers in the end, but because Jesus is worthy.

Powerful book. Sean Feucht and family lives a Brazen life of faith and boldness. Without fear going where Christ calls them. Even when friends or family might not understand. But in doing so, he has seen miracles and the power and Presence of God in ways most never have.
We all need encounters with Christ that leads us into Brazen faith.

Sean is one of the reasons the body of Christ needs everyone to be on fire for Jesus. We all have different talents for the Kingdom. I could not do what he does to reach those darkest areas of the world for Jesus. It’s a very straight to the point blunt book summarizing how he came to do what he does up until COVID.

I love stories of faith, perseverance, and calling. Sean's story is one that needs to be told: being crazy for God is okay! Brazen gives you an inspiring look into the life of this husband, father, musician, and preacher!

This is an easy uplifting read. Sean mostly tells stories from his life that may encourage you. Some stories set you on fire for the lord. Others encourage you in hard times. This is just a good book to read if you need something simple and encouraging.

I’ve long been a follower of Seans music, but honestly didn’t know much about him. His story was super inspiring to me! His brazen faith and simplistic view on hearing God and moving forward was super refreshing!

Not just a book

But a call to participate in courageous engagement that leads to community and impact. I did not consider this as a formal book but a manifesto .

Inspiring read about an individual and his family committed to living their life through their faith in God. I saw him the summer of 2020 for his "Let Us Worship" event. Amazing.

I think this book was written to promote Sean’s political run. I was so surprised and amazed by Sean’s history though! It explains a lot about his current boldness!

This book gives a look into Sean’s life from his beginnings to now his ministry around the country. It talks about the death of his father and how God used this to make waves in our lives as well as his.
