I hope JK gives us another longer book soon, because it really gave the characters a chance to be fleshed out!

I only had one complaint that I wanted more after reading her previous books, pretty sure it wasn’t just me and this time she gave us more than enough to sate our cravings. It made me so happy that I couldn’t help doing a giddy dance (which might have made my sis question my sanity) , my excitement was that high. I devoured every single delicious page of this book without any break.
To say he’s good looking would be an understatement, with his wind-whipped black hair, a square jaw and piercing blue eyes. All that abundantly muscled height. If I didn’t know for a fact how poorly he treats my mother, I would call him a romance hero in the flesh, but facts are facts. He’s a romance villain.
Maisy is eighteen year old and has spent most of her life working and reading so when she finally decides to go on an adventure with her two friends, things take a wrong turn or maybe it was the right turn since she ends up meeting the man of her life Jack Lincoln.
She ends up at an auction where she is forced to participate by the host himself, just when it seems there’s no way out, her knight in shinning armour comes and rescues her by bidding on her but things are never that easy.
Murmuring starts behind me and I use the guests’ distraction as another chance to look at Maisy. Jesus. She’s so beautiful, she rattles me. Goodness radiates from her every pore. Makes me want to pray, to thank a higher power for creating her, when I haven’t acknowledged my maker in years.
Jack was smitten with maisy from the moment he saw her for the first time when she came to pick up her mother who works as a maid at his house and for the next six month, stalks her sometimes through pictures taken by one of his guy and sometimes himself by hiding in front of her apartment when he’s unable to resist. Damn, it was hot. No, it was actually really HOT.
The setting at the beginning felt so wrong, yet I couldn't look away from it and - I say it again - it was freaking hot.
Was it realistic? - No.
But was it kinda believable? - Yes.
I loved the characters, their connection and their growth. The author really did a fine job in under 145 pages. I know her books can be a hit and a miss for lots of people, but this one was definitely a kinky hit for me.

We did go from bow-chika-meow to sugary goodness to cliche and back to dirt in a matter of 50 pages, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Color me pleasantly surprised, that is not at all how I pictured this going down. At least he’s not like the rest of the carrion.
Two million? I’m sure there’s a lot I’d do for that kind of money. Let alone give it away to a hot (even though his appearance is up in the air, I have to assume he’s hot.) millionaire? Billionaire? Tomato? Tomahto?
Oh Jack, you just keep surprising me at every turn. Until the gratuitous pretty woman scene. Not that rich men spoiling poor women ever gets old. And holy shit, the dressing room was combustibly hot! I hope that sales lady works on commission.
While this story didn’t lack for salacious ecstasy, I was pleased by how emotionally satisfying it was. The pacing was good and the plot interesting. And no doubt one of the best voyeuristic fantasies I’ve read. I put off reading Jessa Kane’s books for too long.

This was so bad, I have no words. The story was unrealistic, the relationship severely underdevelopped for such a long novella and the kink was gross. This was the worst kind of book porn ever. If there was less than 1 star to rate this, I would.

This is the longest (I believe) Jessa has written and it was okay for me. Had lots of steamy scenes..
I did have few problems and it was the Voyagerism. Now I don't care for watching its not a big deal for me. But one point to have a sales lady cover Maisy(h) mouth as he fucks her in the dressing room, Is meh for me. Like? He could have let Maisy do that on her own.
Now onto the rest of the story. Jack(H) is one of the top Alphas!! He's been taking care of Masiy behind the scenes and far away until she gets herself in trouble and she didnt even know since she thought it was a party. Poor Maisy she was forced to be in a auction, she had to lose her virginity to Jack infront of old creepy men because they held them at gun point. Yes poor girl she did get off on it its her hidden kink but she was still mad at Jack. For breaking a promise to her. Their relationship was slowish at first since she did try to pull away and keep the distance but Jack wouldn't. He made sure she knew he wasn't giving up and they did have fun cute moments to.
They do have some other drama they had to deal with.

this is quite possibly the worst thing i have ever read. oh my gosh. this review will contain spoilers.
so let's start off with the illegal sex-for-hire parties. that's already a lot to unpack. i can handle dark romance, but this novella was just straight-up stupid. none of it made sense, nor did it have a consistent plot. it was like the author wanted to cram in as many maiden in distress scenes as she could.
now let's not forget that this billionaire THIRTY-ONE YEAR OLD was OBSESSING AND F*CKING STALKING a freshly turned EIGHTEEN-YEAR-OLD. like, excuse me, what the F*CK?! she just turned 18 and you are 13 years older than her. and it's not that i dislike age gaps, it's fact that she was a minor when he first started obsessing over maisey or whatever the hell this girl's name was.
girl literally had stockholm syndrome it seemed like. first, she goes to this sex-for-hire party with her friends but they're not her friends, but she's known them since they were all kids or whatever, so they have to be friends (????), and she gets roped into this very much so ILLEGAL and PERVERTED auction for sex. so what does our weird, fetishizing billionaire grown man do? he bids on maisy-whatever-the-hell-her-name-is and wins the auction. but wait! theres more!

I am so happy that we finally got a full length Jessa Kane book! I personally think that this book actually would have been better shorter and one of her others would have been better longer. It was really good, nonetheless, and quite unique as Kane’s books are pretty unique as novellas but even more so longer.
Maisy (18) was super adorable. She was a hard worker and saw the good in everyone, her inevitable downfall. She was innocent and cute, but very stubborn.
Jack (31) was self-deemed unlovable and was infatuated by his maid’s daughter, Maisy, from afar. He was a billionaire, the usual for a Jessa Kane, and orphaned as a baby.
Overall, super cute and I am excited for more full lengths from Jessa Kane!

Maisy has been working as a cleaner while she dreams of being an audio book narrator, she ends up at the auction as she accompanies 2 friends but has no idea what's about to go down. She 's stunned that her mother's boss wins the auction and even more horrified at the terms. By the end of the night Jack breaks a promise to Maisy and it's only her eventual offer that will allow him the one thing he desperately wants.....her

This was a very steamy novella. The story may have been over the top ridiculous and absurd but the spice more than made up for it.

This is more a personal preference but I just couldn’t get over that one too personal voyeurestic scene in the clothing shop. The story also dragged a bit, it’s longer in length I believe.
