My Saving Grace is book one in the brand new series, ABC Corp, by Melanie Moreland. This is a spin off from both The Vested Interest series and The Contract series. You don’t need to have read either to enjoy this though. This is the next generation and our first book focuses on Grace VanRyan, the eldest daughter of Richard VanRyan.

Gracie VanRyan, daughter of Richard and Katy VanRyan, has her life planned out. She is fresh out of law school and is set to begin a year articling which I understand to be a sort of internship position, for a well known law firm, Smith and Hodges. She will be working directly for Jaxson Richards. After her year is up and she passes the Bar exam, she plans to go to work with her cousins at ABC Corp. When she walked in to her interview she didn’t expect to feel the immediate bolt of attraction to her future boss. He took her breath away. But she would not let anything get in the way of her future. She has worked long and hard to get to this point and she’s almost to the finish line.

Jaxson Richards is thirty eight years old and is doing just what he wanted to do, and he was very successful at it. He was also doing it alone. Jaxson didn’t believe in love or forevers. Not for himself anyway. Life had taught him that. As soon as Grace walked into his office, for the first time, he wanted to know more about her, protect her, teach her, care for her. He fought the cravings he felt for her until it was just too much.

Grace and Jaxson begin a double life, boss and employee during the day, lovers by night. But for how long will they be able to keep up this charade? How long until love enters into the relationship? And how long until everything falls apart?

I loved this book. It’s always wonderful to get to revisit some of the characters I have loved for so long with Melanie’s previous series’. I have to tell you that putting Richard VanRyan up against Jaxson Richards with Gracie in the middle was so much fun. This story proves that you never can be completely ready for what life has in store for you. You think you’ve got it all planned out. You think you know what you want. Or don’t want. Then fate comes knocking. The question is, are you willing to open the door?

“She is the only warmth in my life. Without her, the cold will destroy me.”

Words cannot express how much I loved, loved, loved My Saving Grace. It is a total standalone and a wonderful way for new readers to discover the very talented Melanie Moreland. But once you get a taste of her fabulous story telling, you'll want to dive in and read the Contract series where we are introduced to Gracie's parents, Richard and Katy, and the BAM/Vested Interest series where we are introduced to her endearing extended family.

My Saving Grace takes place about twenty some years later after BAM (Bentley, Aiden and Maddox). The three men formed their own business in college, each found love, and are secondary characters in this new spin-off series featuring the second generation–their children as well as others who appeared in the original series.

Gracie, as she is known to her family and friends, is a brilliant law student doing her paid internship, or Articling as it is known in Canada, under Jaxson Richards, a complicated, broody attorney with deep blue eyes, a dimpled chin, and a back story to break your heart. He's brilliant and takes his younger mentee under his wing teaching her everything about copy and trademark law as well as the tricks of the trade. She may have been inexperienced practicing law, but through her example, taught him about patience, love, trust, and family...something he had yet to experience in his 31 years on this earth.

These two had such a sizzling connection from their very first meeting. I loved that they met by chance and how their relationship slowly developed and how he admired her work ethic, spirited personality, and bright mind. I loved how he was drawn to her and how she was unlike any other woman he had known. I love how they brought the best out in each other, how they challenged each other, and were a team at work and also in their private life after they became intimate, a secret only two of them could share.

Melanie always makes me cry as you feel every single emotion as they navigate their relationship and work-life balance. I love her relationship with her parents and family and friends, and how they gave her unconditional support.

There was such build up for her story as we were teased with Jaxson showing up at her best friend's wedding as her husband at the end of A Merry Vested Wedding! Gracie is strong, insightful, poised, sexy, and isn't afraid to admit her shortcomings. She's as real as it gets and is so relatable. Gracie knows her faults as well as her self-worth, she's independent and vulnerable, and doesn't loose sight of her dreams, even if it breaks her heart in the process.

You have to love Jaxson! He's flirty and dominate, and I love how he commands a room and how alpha he gets around her. She just can't understand his temperament going from hot to cold and I love how she calls him out on his behavior even though he is her boss! His assistant, Michael, is also a super fun edition to this story, and I loved the interactions between the three of them at work.

This book reached deep into my soul and left me with the biggest smile when I finished reading it. Melanie created a world I want to live in with people I want as my friends in real life. I love how protective her dad, Richard VanRyan, is, and how Jaxson told him, "husband trumped dad" and didn't back down. I love how he was able to ask for forgiveness, and how warm, attentive, and affection he became once he let down his guard and shared his feelings. Grace did save him, and this is a perfectly named title for a beautiful book with a gorgeous cover and page after page filled with heart, heat, and hope.

Fangirl and half of #TeamMorelandChaos - You know I've read this book over and over again. I am happy to say I plan on doing it again. Because the storytelling is: Engaging and Brilliant.

I do not share these words lightly. When The Contract came out, I shoved it in everyone's face with a "read this book now". Who knew a generation later, Richard's daughter would have me saying "read this book now."

When Melanie was writing A Merry Vested Wedding, lots of discussions were had about how to add more BAM siblings to the mix. Gracie's story showed up as a fun cameo and was crafted to be something incredibly special.

Gracie - man, I had a #girlcrush on Charly from Revved To The Maxx - but Gracie is everything I love a heroine to be. The right amount of smart, generous, and vulnerable. She is a bada$$ without feeling that she is a cold b!tch. She is soft and loving but definitely and absolutely not a doormat. She is a mix of Richard and Katy VanRyan -their best parts. She takes on this new job, finds a new relationship, earns some heartache - and stands on her own two feet and speaks her mind.

"Um, Jaxson, your god complex is showing again. Not even youcan think you could control the weather."

Damn this man...I know readers love a 'bad boy' or 'alphajerk' who then redeems himself. Jaxson Richards is on his own. Yes, the dude has all those frustrating qualities that make your inner 'fixer' want to have your way with him. But he has this human side that is not overly tragic or sad. The sum of his experiences has formed the man. But he is not done growing yet - he needs a Gracie in his life to do just that. How he shows is subtle and not OTT gestures - it's just Jaxson. Imagine he is if Richard VanRyan and Bentley Ridge personalities got put in a blender - that is Jaxson Richards.

"We all have our elevators, Gracie."
I looked up. "Will you ever tell me yours?"

Things I loved:
- Both main characters were perfect and flawed in the best ways.
- Story moved in a way that you need to turn the page to see what is next.
- Took a trope 'accidental marriage' and made it fresh.
- Richard VanRyan and Jaxson Richards on the page together.
- Katy VanRyan is still a secret bad a$$.
- Jaxson as a duke and Scarlett Scott is mentioned.

Things to consider:
-
- This is a standalone story within the Vested Interest and Contract series world to launch new series for next generation. The story does focus on the main characters but cameos abound from characters fans will love. However, the story does not contain anything you need to read those books first to understand. (But I dare you not to after reading this.)

I can honestly say if I wasn't involved in the process, I would devour the story and got lost in the pages. When readers say Melanie's words are magical, this story right here is proof of that statement. It takes our favorite tropes, gives them a spin and unexpected turn of the corner to deliver and story I will re-read again and again.

My recommendation: Buy It

" That having you, knowing you ---it's changed me, Gracie. I want, I need that warmth you carry in my life. I need you."

I guess it was destined for one of Richard and Katy’s kids to end up like them in regards to a relationship. Gracie and Jaxson are so much like Richard and Katy. Though they didn’t have blackmail gong on and they had a relationship prior to being married. They getting married proved that Jaxson felt more for Gracie then he ever thought he could. Richard and Jaxson being so much alike in many ways is way too funny. As always Melanie have us a happy ending it just took a bit of time for both Gracie and Jaxson to get there.

Gosh I don't even know how to start with this review. First off make sure you have an afternoon with nothing to do because once you start you won't want to stop. I promise you this one is a page turner... at least in my eyes it is. Melanie Moreland has definitely done it again with My Saving Grace. Richard and the BAM boys have returned, and my Saving Grace is the story of Richard's first born Grace. Be prepared because you will see the similarities in her story and her fathers. Melanie's books have always left me with all the feels, but this might be the most relatable story I have read so it definitely hit me different. I think we all have that one book that seems to mirror in some ways to what is going on in our own life, and this one right now is mine. It was totally unexpected. Grace is such a mixture of her father and her mother, and she is perfect for Jaxson even if he doesn't was to admit it. Jaxon lets his past control the direction of his life, and when Grace walks into his life he has not idea how to handle it. Going into this novel knowing that they were married it was really fun getting the full story, but I still have a few questions regarding some of the details that are reveled. Oh and Richard does not disappoint in his role has Grace's father. They ever overprotective father is in full force. If you fell in love with Richard in his series you will fall in love with him all over and again. I absolutely love the interactions between Jaxon and Richard... those two bring the entertainment when they are together. A reread will be happening with this one. It might have taken top spot has my favorite Melanie Moreland novel, but gosh she isn't making it easy on me at all. If I could give 10 stars I would. You will absolutely love Grace and Jaxon.

5 star Review My Saving Grace (Vested Interest: ABC Corp #1) by Melanie Moreland

I was excited to read book one in the latest series from Melanie Moreland, ABC Corp. Having loved the men and women of BAM I couldn’t wait to dive in to book one in the next generation of Vested Interest.

This is Grace VanRyan and Jaxson Richards story and it was an entertaining read. From the first word to the last I was drawn in to the story that Ms.Moreland wove and had a hard time putting this book down when real life got in the way.

Grace is the eldest daughter of Richard and Katy, a focused and driven young woman who has her life all mapped out for her. The very last thing she needs is the complication of her marriage to Jaxson (her boss) that she doesn’t want to continue. However much to both their surprise, Jaxson is reluctant to end the marriage, he wants Grace and is determined to have her.

It was such a pleasure to read this book. The writing is strong, the characters easy to like and relate too and the appearance of familiar faces just added to my overall enjoyment of this story. Of course having met Richard, I knew he wouldn’t be able to stop himself becoming involved in true Richard fashion and this just added to my entertainment and I love him even more than I did before.

The conversations between Jaxson and Richard had me shaking my head at times and laughing. Grace is a strong, determined woman and the chemistry between her and Jaxson is off the charts with it’s intensity.

One click this little gem, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Be still my beating heart....this book is freaking amazing and this review will be so hard to write and not totally spill the beans!! Melanie has written a story that absolutely speaks to my heart!! This is the story of two people who could not be more opposite. Grace has it all - family, friends and enormous amounts of love from those around her. After all, she grew up in the BAM family. Jaxson has nothing and no one. He never knew what being loved truly meant. Being deprived of light makes one see only darkness. Lonely is all he knows but he hides it well. Placing himself first is survival. Until Grace. The blinding, beautiful light in his dark, cynical world. Until one misstep, one miscalculation and one conversation threaten to bring down everything he never thought he would hold dear. This is an absolute must read for 2021! Loved it!!!

Lordy this woman can write! I bought "The Contract" completely by the front cover... and now I can say it was the best decision! Richard and Katy have been my favorite and to see how their love grew with their children is beyond warming my heart! Jaxson and Grace basically stole my heart. Great characters that work there way to your heart and doesn't let go... even when they are being difficult.

Melody Moreland has done the unexpected again. I guess i shouldn't be surprised since she always gives me a story and characters that i get to know, love and sometimes get amgry with. This one is the start of a new series that i cannot wait to fall in love with. This series centers around the children of her previous characters and no, you do not need to read them but they are so good and you can understand the paremtal point of view with so much more amusement. Grace VanRyan is so spectacularly independent made that way by her parents(their story is The Contract). She is surrounded by a huge family of choice and knows love has no bounds and no limits. When she comes face to face with her new boss she finds a different kind of love. But Jaxon Richards is not the kind of man to have personal feelings of any sort. I loved the narrative in that most of this story is told from Garce's point of view but you do have glimpses of Jaxon as well. Her strong willed independence is her driving force toward her ultimate career goal. It could also be the road to her personal forever. Jaxon is stubborn and bullheaded to say it nicely. His personal life is non existent other than short term flings. He depends upon no one and prefers it that way. Grace is his undoing. I adored how the relationship develops and changes both of them for the better until it comes crashing down. The huge family that Grace depends on saves them both from doing something that can never be brought back from in different ways. Stupendous job on a story that will remain in mynheart for a long time.

“Because she is the only warmth in my life. Without her, the cold will destroy me.”

In “My Saving Grace” Jaxson speaks these words about Gracie. The words seem so romantic, right? Well, they are, but if you read them in the context of the book you will see that they are so much more than that … they are part of a stoic man’s growing understanding of his visceral need for this woman who has come into his life and has unwittingly begun to change everything he thought to be true.

Melanie Moreland is some kind of emotional sorceress because once again she has created a story that will break your heart and then put it back together again, melding laughter and tears in unforgettable ways. This is definitely a stand-alone story. But if you haven't already read the BAM books and “A Merry Vested Wedding”, then this should certainly inspire you to put them on your reading list - along with The Contract Series, which is the story of Gracie’s parents.

There is so much I would like to share about this story, but I keep erasing the words because I don’t want to give any spoilers at all. You need to discover the path and the feelings of the characters for yourself. The author makes them so Real that you can practically see them in your mind’s eye. At one point, Jaxson has a conversation with Gracie that made me cringe with pain, and then as I learned more about him I felt pain on his behalf. I found him to be so frustrating! Yet still, at the end he more than redeemed himself so even if you slam your book down in frustration for a minute, don’t give up on him. Gracie is smart and confident despite dealing with ongoing consequences of a childhood trauma. She has a gentle heart, but she knows her own worth and is unwilling to settle for a relationship that is not emotionally fulfilling. I adored her character! This book is written with a dual POV, which is really helpful in giving us understanding of the feelings each character wrestles with at different points in the story.

Melanie Moreland puts them both through an emotional wringer for us, but fear not, they are justly rewarded with a brilliant HEA, and Jackson belongs in the Book Boyfriend Hall of Fame. All of the secondary characters in the story are wonderful, especially Jaxson’s PA, Michael and Gracie’s cousin Ronan. The dynamic that develops between Jaxson and Gracie’s father is priceless. I also loved the references made by the characters in this story to the books of a historical romance author who is similarly stellar at her craft. It was fun to see one great author make such fun and admiring mention of another.

It is so hard to write a review without giving the story away. Gracie is a mix of Richard and Katy, you will love her. Jaxson is a lost soul who needs someone to show him how to love, and Gracie is the perfect person to show him that. Loved the storyline of “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” and the relationship between Jaxson and Richard. Gracie and Jaxson fall in love but then he hurts her to protect her and she does not realize that, and he has to fight for her forgiveness. In some ways I wish the story were longer and more in depth. Their story goes to fast and you are wanting more. I hope to see of them appear in the next books in the ABC Corp series. This book is a great addition to the Contract and BAM series. I recommend reading The Contract Series, BAM Series (all of them) and A Merry Vest Wedding before you read this book, it will make more sense, plus you get the humor and the dynamic of the “FAMILY”.
When I read a series with this many books, I normally get bored but, Melanie Moreland just keeps you wanting more. I can not wait to see who the next book will be about. Her books are never the same story line and they are romantic and funny and sad at the same time. I have never laughed and cried in the same book before. The only thing I could suggest is that the sexy parts in the books were steamier.

Steamy, humorous and full of emotion, Melanie Moreland's newest book, My Saving Grace has it all!

Grumpy, short tempered, angry...all words that describe Jaxson Richards. When Grace VanRyan has the chance to be mentored by the top-notch lawyer she is thrilled. She hadn't expected the sizzling touches or longing glances the two soon experience. But there is a wide chasm separating the the optimistic young law student and the crabby, older lawyer and they may just be too wide to bridge.

We met Gracie and Jaxson in A Merry Vested Christmas and I have been counting down the days until I could read their story. It is fantastic! So many emotions, so many laughs, so much fun with the VanRyans, BAM boys and all their extended families. I can't wait to read more!!!

Ahhhh just when I think I couldn’t love Richard and Katy and all the BAM crew more we get a new story, this time in the ABC world.

We met Gracie and Jaxson in A Merry Vested Wedding and part of their story was slightly told in that book.

This is the whole story. It couldn’t be any better!

I loved every word. I could not put it down and more than once my family threw things at me to get my attention.

I love that the kids have such a special bond and that they care and are there for one another all the time.

Melanie weaves amazing stories!

My Saving Grace
(ABC Corp #1)
Written by Melanie Moreland

It’s said there is a thin line between love and hate and Jaxson Richards and Grace VanRyan prove that statement several times in My Saving Grace.

Yes, that’s right, Richard VanRyan’s little girl is grown, is finishing off her articling at a Toronto Law firm before writing her Bar exams. Easy, Grace has a plan and after passing the Bar she will move on to working at ABC Corp., you know keeping in the family so to speak. Now all she has to do is make it through her six months with Jaxson Richards.

Jaxson Richards, tall, piercing blue eyes and WOW does that man wear a suit! She can do this, he is older than her, he is her boss, did I mention his thighs, or the dimple! Put her out of her misery now! No, it will be fine, she is looking forward to……yes working for him and yes she will learn, oh what she will learn!

There is also this theory about women being drawn to men like their father, have I gone to far?

There is an attraction between them, a very heart pounding, blood racing, hard to breath kind of attraction. Line crossed!

Stolen glances, kisses, sleepovers – we are now 10 feet across that line! Until something happens! Words are spoken, hearts are broken and there is that line, someone is back on the other side again.

In My Saving Grace, Melanie Moreland gives us a beautiful story about emotions, about feelings, how hearts can be broken with just a few words, how healing takes time, how unknown histories affect more than one person and how a man will do just about anything for the woman who has thawed his heart.

It was all it promised to be and more, so Ms. Moreland whose next??

I was looking forwrard for thr second generation of Vested Interest series. And plus this is also a cross over between BAM and The Contract, I have high hope.

My hope was cut short though. My Saving Grace to be honest is.... lacking. I do not feel.that toe curling chemistry between Grace and Jaxson. Their relationship, like their fake wedding is... well... forced. It seems Miss Moreland was rushed to publish this book.

I do not hate the book either. There are still sweet moment, also a cameo from the first generation characters. I am happy to see Richard and Kathy still going strong.

My Saving Grace is the first book in a new series. It is a spin off/next generation series featuring the children of our favorite Melanie Moreland characters.

Grace VanRyan falls for her grumpy, but oh so sexy and totally off-limits boss, Jaxson Richards. He seems to run hot then cold, leading her on then keeping his distance.

“I can’t love, but you make me want to.”

I absolutely loved this swoony romance. (Even when I thought Jaxson was a jerk) I love that Grace stood up for herself and made Jaxson work for her forgiveness (and boy did he!)

Thinking you boss is hot but annoying is one thing, but falling into his bed and waking up with more than they bargained for is something completely different. Grace VanRyan is steps away from completing the bar and becoming a lawyer for the ABC Corp., but first she needs to finish her apprenticeship with Jaxson Richards. Sparks instantly fly between the two that lead them down a path of destruction. But will it be their careers or their courtship that will last through the hurdles they need to cross. And what about the biggest hill to jump over - her father - Richard VanRyan..... In true Melanie Moreland fashion the reader is once again surrounded by characters that feel like they are family. Hopes and dreams are riding a very thin line and the reader turns each page needing more while at the same time they are in awe of the brilliance that is another Melanie Moreland masterpiece.

Oh - this is my new favorite Melanie book! You will cry and feel all the feels. You will also die laughing. There are characters from The Contract series and The BAM series but you don't need to read those to read this book. I encourage you to read those but it's not necessary. Definitely a good book for a snowy day!

Melanie Moreland knows how to pull you into her stories. I loved My Saving Grace, the next generation of the BAM series we have the ABC Corp series. Gracie's has always followed the rules fone her homework and listened to her parents. Jaxon has been having to rely on himself for a long time he doesnt know how to let anyone else in. When Gracie is hired to be an articling clerk (intern) for 2 lawyers, she is excited to be working for Jaxon a prestigious lawyer that is known to be difficult. Jaxon has had other articling students before but none have left him feeling like he wanted to learn more about them until Grace. He found himself looking at her, liking to talk to her, and trying to protect her. But when things happen beyond his control he tries to control it by breaking Gracie's heart. Now he has found a loophole and will do anything to get her to forgive him and take him back.

Let me start by saying you do not have to read the Vested Interest Series first. I say this because I have not YET! I absolutely plan to especially now that I've met Gracie's extended family.
And oh how I love Grace she's everything I hope at least one of my four daughters turns out to be. Strong, independent, mindful, loving, hopeful, and for her age she's surprisingly patient.
Jaxson what can we say about him he's devastatingly handsome, his mind for business is impressive.
As a sparring partner in sarcasm and banter he's a good match for his new intern or is she a good match for him? Either way the chemistry is undeniable!
But Jaxson has a past and with it hurt, with hurt comes pain and when there is pain we often share it with those we feel safest with even when maybe we shouldn't!
What does that mean?
Well I'm not telling read the book!
What I can tell you is this book touched all my feelings and I want Grace's family to adopt me now! Of course if the don't have room maybe the next family I have a feeling this whole series is just going to keep getting better. 💓

I have voluntarily left this review.

Buckle up its going to be a bumpy ride!
If I could give this book 100 Stars I would, I couldn't put it down and when I did I kept thinking about the story and had to forget sleep or work or whatever I was doing. This story is a bit of a mind f&$k a slap/kiss as someone has referred it as. You have passion, love, family, banter, great characters I mean do I need to go on...and why are you still reading this review....READ IT NOW PEOPLE. You will thank me later well not me really Melanie did it.

Melanie, do you realize what you do to us when you write these books? How do you manage to create these men that are so perfectly broken that they bring out all our instincts to cuddle them with love? Their back stories break our hearts and we want to heap on the love they were denied. Jaxson is another such beautifully love-scarred man and my new favorite Book Boyfriend!

Gracie VanRyan is the daughter of Richard and Katy from The Contract Series/BAM Vested Interested Series. If you haven't read the previous series, this book is still great as a Standalone. It is even better if you have read the others because you will know all the family and extended family that are crawling all through this book. Family is very important to these folks! Well, Gracie is a law student who is articling at a prestigious law firm in Toronto and working under Jaxson Richards. He is 10 years her senior and crazy attractive and formidable, she knows nothing can happen, but she gets butterflies every time he looks at her. She has no idea he feels the same! There is a no fraternazation policy at the firm so...they have to be very sneaky.

I loved Gracie and Jaxson together! She was exactly what he needed and vise versa. They perfectly complimented each other. The Halloween Contest was such a wonderful surprise and Jaxson's compassion for her anxiety was just the sweetest! He went to great lengths for her just to ease her mind. The biggest thing was the CHEMISTRY these two had! Off the chart lightening bolt sizzling electricity! The zaps when their eyes met! I loved Michael, Jaxson's PA, who became such good friends with Gracie and they were such a great little trio working together. Until Jaxson acts like a horse's behind and makes me want to give him a facer!

There were plenty of laughs, too! When Richard and Jaxson get into it lol! Richard asking "What the heck is a facer?" and when they complain and both lose what they were trying to get. But they both love Gracie so much it's easy to see that they end up on the same side.

This book is so awesome, you won't be able to put it down! I am so excited for this new series, The Next Generation of BAM!!.

Oh Melanie how I love the wonderful characters that are created in your mind and the words that you use to bring them to life. My Saving Grace is an emotional ride filled with irresistible attraction and forbidden temptation.
If you had the pleasure of reading The Contract than you are in for a pleasant surprise as Grace is their daughter.
Grace is a law student that is forging her own way in the world. When she takes an internship working with one of the most infuriating men she has ever met. Jaxson is a man whose sole purpose is devoted to his job. He is closed off, private and does not believe in love or happily ever after. He believes that no one in his life is forever and love is a fairytale.
When they meet the air surrounding them is electrifying and they both know it. The more time spent together brings them to one conclusion they each have a contradicting outlook on love and life. Neither one is prepared for the forbidden tempting pull to one another that may be the downfall of them both.
This couple is real with doubts, secrets and are both so vulnerable in their own way. They also are sweet, sexy and wonderful smart witty banter and I loved every minute of them!

I loved Grace and Jaxon’s story so much. This story deserves 10 plus stars. It is one of those stories where I just felt like I connected with the characters. I was with them on their journey and felt every emotion they felt. Melanie Moreland did such a phenomenal job bringing their story to life. My Saving Grace is a story that I already want to reread because it is just that good. Even though heartache was inevitable between the pair my heart burst with how full of happiness the author left me feeling. It was great seeing the original characters even if brief. This is the perfect introduction to the new legacy. Move over BAM boys, there’s some new kids on the block called ABC! A must read!! P.S The banter between Richard and Jaxon is epic!

I loved this book! From the beginning to the end!
My saving Grace is the story of Kate and Richard daughter. We saw her born and now we see her as an adult.
My favorite book from Melanie has always been Kate and Richard’s story but after this one I have my heart divided. Grace and Jaxson love story hooked me since the beginning, I loved how he protects her but at the same time how strong she is.
Like all Melanie books you can feel the character’s connection from minute 1, and fall in love with them. You can feel their passion, their sadness, their love..
You can read this book as standalone but I would recommend you to read all the previous books.
To sum up. This is a must read book!

It's no secret Melanie Moreland is one of my all time favorite authors. Her writing style absolutely hits a home run with me every time. My Saving Grace is no exception.

This book is next generation from the Vested Interest Series and the Contract Series.. Grace is Richard and Katy's daughter (The Contract). She is living in Toronto on her way to becoming a lawyer. She is interning at a law firm and falls for her boss, Jaxson. The feelings are for the most part mutual, but Jaxson is reserved and feels he isn't capable of loving someone. I liked the correlation between Jaxson and Grace's Father, Richard. Their life experiences were very similar. The banter between the two was funny. It was as if they were in an undeclared competition to be the number one man in Grace's life. The link to the other books is evident, but it is not necessary to read them first.

This was such an enjoyable read for me as are all of Melanie Moreland's books. I highly recommend!!

Little Grace Van Ryan, all grown up. This is the story of 'The Contracts' Richard Van Ryan and Katy's daughter, Grace. I absolutely devoured this book. The new generation from the Vested Interest Series, these youngins all started or affiliated with ABC Corp. Gracie is interning under Jaxson Richards, a very successful lawyer, who also comes off as difficult and pretty much a standoffish. But he's also, gorgeous and under those layers is a really great guy who doesn't really know how to love or how to accept love. These two were HOT HOT HOT. I love seeing hero's who fight hard as heck to not fall for their girl, but they can't fight it.

I don't want to give too much away but this is a must read for anyone, especially those of you who has read the circle of friends Richard and all the Vested Interest boys. I loved loved loved seeing these characters intertwine with each other and knowing more of these ABC kids grown up. It was great seeing Richard and Katy with their daughter. Seeing Jaxson and Richard interact was fantastic and funny.

Can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the books prior to this, especially her parents books. Totally worth it, makes the reading experience so much better.

Magnetic. Complicated. Heartbreaker. My Saving Grace is a wild ride packed full of emotional twists and irresistible temptation. With an enigmatic hero that ties your heart in knots and a heroine that refuses to be ignored, Moreland scores a bullseye. Jaxson and Grace are a paradox. The pieces never quite fit, but that's part of the charm. From start to finish these people wrap themselves around the soul with a staying power that proves hard to shake.
