What is love? Everyone has an answer, but after reading this book, your answers may change a little. When “giving someone the power to destroy us", we give the power to change our body and brain too. Of course, the effect we create for the other person is similar. You ask, why? You will understand when you read this book. My dear colleague has blended love and neurobiology beautifully and presented it to readers in scientific and understandable language. I enjoyed reading and learned something new. Pleasant reading...

I had to read this book for class and I can’t say I was thrilled. The author has a doctorate but his science seems cooky. He is extremely sexist so it was hard to tell what was truth. I gave it two because I feel like I learned a little, but overall not worth the read.

Wow, the misogyny masquerading as science. The author should have asked a woman to read his manuscript and all I can assume is he had no editor to catch things like "loose women" who engage in casual sex and how women go to the hairdresser to trim split ends but "mostly regret it and freak out" after they get their hair trimmed. Charming. Wish I could give this book zero stars.
