✿Phoebe✿ (aka heroine): After reading this book I finally realized what people mean by 'fictional characters' not having 'personality' and why it's not enjoyable. Seriously, I need a badge, I have come to that stage of reading where I can finally recognize 'wrong things' in books. Back to Phoebe, she has zero personality '0' 'zéro' 'cero' 'शून्य' say it in whatever language you want to it will be zero. Throughout the book, I was like am I reading about the same heroine? Because this girl doesn't have any unique identity except her reddish-brown hair. She felt like one of those AI systems to whom you give a command and they comply and there is nothing else about them. I was like is this girl even human? What hobbies do you have? Do you have morals/rules and regulations/feelings for yourself? The only thing I know about this girl is her namePhoebe Ridely, super-rich, parents want her to get married, goes do school, eats, does homework, chit-chats with friends, sleeps and then repeatsthat's it, there is nothing more or less in her life and oh she has zero ideas about 'poor people'. Her friends too were so boring and didn't interest me at all.
