This book is a raw, endearing story that reminds you what it’s like to be alive and suffer and heals you all at once. I couldn’t stop reading. The prose is both precise and generalizable, stark and beautiful, poetic and piercing. I feel like we were all waiting for this book to be written, and now it’s finally here.
This book found a way to capture emotions in a way i’ve never seen before. It’s psychoanalysis and poetry all in one. This was the first book i’ve finished in like 3 years. It captures how emotions and living through trauma feel according to the physical senses, which makes the protagonist incredibly available to the reader.
