Adalyn
I know my role. Be the witch Mom needs me to be, the leader the coven demands me to be, and the wife I have to be. My future is merely a means to ensure the coven remains the most powerful of our kind. So, I say the vows, complete the union, and marry the witch pre-chosen for me. Wanting nothing to do with him, I strike a deal to ensure my independence. My plan was concrete until that first kiss. I didn’t count on wanting him, let alone loving him. A love he’ll never return, and I must accept the fact before I’m gone forever.

Jasper
A man needs but one goal in his life, and for me, it’s the acquisition of power. Finally, after the union ceremony I’ve been chasing, I have the magic of many, and with it, a wife I don’t want. Thankfully, she feels the same about me, removing the necessity of a typical marriage between us. But temptation is too compelling, and when one kiss turns into one night and one night turns into multiple, Adalyn is all I come to think about. She’s all I see. All I want. Until fate changes. Soon she’ll be gone and I’m forced to decide which matters more: magic or Adalyn.

Union Bound is the third book in The Witches’ Bind Trilogy. Cure Bound and Moon Bound must be read first, for a better understanding of the ending. Union Bound is an arranged marriage romance with content some readers may find triggering. Trigger warnings include death, emotional abuse, toxic family relationship, explicit sexual content, lying, swearing.

This ARC was provided to me free of charge by NetGalley but my opinions are my own.

Union Bound is the third book and final book of the series a fact that I was unaware of when I requested the book but the author was a great job of laying out the story, so much so that even though I know how it all ends I'd like to read the other two.

The third installment follows Jasper and Adalyn two strong witches brought together by The Goddess and her helper Mary in an arranged marriage meant to strengthen the coven.

Jasper having a hard life thanks to the death of his parents and the meddling of his grandmother, refuses to let anyone in. I have never spent so much energy yelling at a fictional man in my life.

Adalyn has excepted the fact that one day she'll be married off but wasn't expecting it to be so soon, watching her fall for this angry man made me both sad and hopeful.

Honestly it's a great story and definitely one any supernatural, friends to lovers fans would enjoy.

I love the playlist at the beginning of this book. This is the third book in the Witches Bind Trilogy. This book starts with Sybil and Jasper burying his parents and cementing her want to raise a strong witch generation of pure blood.

We do jump points of view from past to present and to Mary. You may remember her as the meddling witch the goddess uses to show the way from the other stories. Oh, interesting, the last couple decides the outcome. Jasper is okay with an arranged marriage to strengthen the coven and the magic. Still, he is a heartless, self-serving warlock. He goes back to his thoughts on the last book with his cousin Carina, Ryder, and the wolf pack.

Adalyn is a Fortuna witch. She is also a college student living her young, carefree life at least while she can until she takes over the coven and acquires the impending arranged marriage. Wow, this book gets steamy so descriptive as well. I'm surprised they go thru with the moon goddess plans.

Jasper is a bit hard-hearted, and I really hope he is whipped by the end of the book. However, his grandmothers' deceptions and her mother's coercion are crazy to go up against, and I wonder how it will come into play. Adalyn us a pure outlook but is a little immature and has some growing up to do. I like Jaspers' moves to unite and wonder how all that will work out. Will the goals be met? Will the characters let their emotions get involved, and what will it mean?

What that can't be right. How can that be the goddess's plan? I mean, after everything and him finally becoming more, how could it be that twisted? This story gets surprising just as I thought they would get the happily ever after; instead, the author baffles us with the last-minute revelation.

The goddess herself reveals what went wrong and why. But all the same, just wow! I can't believe what happens. How will this extreme action play out? I love that Jasper's heart thawed finally to the Adalyn. But what now? Mary sums up the series nicely with her reminiscing back. Omg, I can't believe how this book ends. I'm happy we got a final conclusion for every couple they dabbled into their lives and changed them. I love that Jasper finally got his happily ever after and was a changed man.

I can't believe this is the end of this amazing series. This book has me hooked so many questions and so many answers. I still can't believe the outcome of all that prophecy and playing with people's futures. I love how the author interwove the entire series, leading from one book to the next and deeply interconnecting her characters. This was one heck of a paranormal romance filled with magic and love eventually, and wow, was it steamy. What they lacked in feelings, they made up for in intimacy. I enjoyed every set of characters this author envisioned and how they each complimented each other so well. I can't wait to read other books by this author.

Trigger Warnings: Death, emotional abuse, mature (in the bedroom) content. Not suggested for ages 18 and under.
Synopsis: Union Bound is the Third book in The Witches’ Bind Trilogy. Each book is a standalone novel featuring a different couple, but they are best read in order, due to the nature of the overarching series plot.
Adalyn knows her role in this life. She has been raised to be the leader of her coven, just like her mother before her, with that comes an arranged marriage to a witch from another coven. This marriage will ensure our coven stays the most powerful coven anywhere.
Jasper has always had one goal…..power and with the help of his grandmother he has met this goal by marrying the daughter and future leader of the most powerful witch of their kind. Jasper also has no intention of falling in love, love only leads to heartache and misery. Luckily his new bride feels the same way and they agree to lead separate lives. But when a kiss leads to more and feelings start to develop what happens when a Goddess intervenes and Jasper has to choose between love and power?
What I Loved: Another playlist and it too does not disappoint! Book 3 in the Witches’ Bind series is the quickest read for me and again a totally different story the other two. It is what I love best about the series as a whole. In this book I loved Adalyn, another strong leading lady. But after one night with Jasper that leads to two and so on, she realizes she is developing feelings for him. This seemed like a real and natural development of feelings between two people. The most natural of the three books.
What I Liked: I just realized that I enjoy an arranged marriage trope. It is a great way to see a relationship grow and give a lot of different options to bring in conflict and interactions between two people. So smart. M.L. Philpitt does a really great job at building sexual tension and characters that don’t always want to give in to it. I appreciate that in this book and series.
What I Would Change: Wow, the ending. I think it is going to be a love it or hate it ending to a series. But isn’t that what great stories are made of? The readers deciding what is great or not. And what is great for one reader might be just ok for another. This ending is going to be that for its reader.

If you love Paranormal Romance…make sure you have all three books in this series lined up because you are going to want to read them all together!

This is the 3rd and final book in the trilogy and it is an amazing conclusion to the power dynamic between witches, shifters, and vampires. Jasper and Adalyn are strong witches and once they are married they will become the head of almost every witch coven on earth. However, Jasper refuses to fall in love ever again and Adalyn resents having to marry without first experiencing her life. They are incapable of fighting the magnetic chemistry between them. The writer does an amazing job building both characters and helping you to see their faults and strengths. We finally learn the Goddess' plans for the witches and the twist in the end will shock you to your core. I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who enjoys a little touch of the paranormal, it has plenty of steam without sacrificing the amazing story and world that the author has created.

Thank to Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

Union Bound is the third book in The Witches’ Bind Trilogy. In this last book, we follow Jasper and Adalyn two strong witches who are obligate by their coven and The Goddess to make an arranged marriage. One refuses to fall in love, the other don’t want to marry without first experiencing her life. Will they work together?

Like in the two others books, I really love that she had made a little playlist. I enjoyed hearing them while reading. « For anyone who don’t believe in love It’ll happen» I love the dedication when I read it first but after finishing the book, it makes even more sense.

The author knows how to write a strong ending. At the beginning, you know how they will end up, but I didn’t expect the consequence of it. The character is great and better written and deeper than the first book. I love that Adalyn is confided and how she turn the head of Jasper. Some scene were spicy like I love them. The first flashback puts the mood of the book, but after I didn’t understand well when I read them. I would have loved some date.

This book!! This book!!! Y'all, more extensive review to come but let me say this. The author wrote HER HEA. She didn't conform to what's expected and I think that's dope as hell. Great ending to the series.

Omg I hate giving low scores for books knowing well someone spent so many hours/days or even years to write it. But here it goes.

So the series started very strong for me. I don't remember exactly what I said in my review but remember actually enjoying reading the book.

Okay the issues I had with this book were, there was no chemistry between the characters, they literally met one day and it led to sex, which I'm usually yeah go get it, but here it was a big nope. Connecting with characters from previous books I love when that happens but it was just meh in this book. And the ending though, what was that? Like why? Yeah we got an explanation but still it didn't make any sense for me. Like doing all of these just to lead to that ending, I honestly see no point there. Honestly I didn't have any expectations but damn I was disappointed.

Thank you for the eArc of this book and the review is voluntarily.

Edited manuscript.

M.L. doesn't end the trilogy in a cookie-cutter fashion; she tells the story, from beginning to end, her way, which works well for the three couples of this series.

4/5⭐️ 2.75/5🔥

Each book is a standalone with a different couple, but they are best read in order, due to the nature of the overlapping plot.

Harlow and Alec’s mating returned Sinclair magic to this world.
Carina and Ryder united two warring species.
Adalyn and Jasper will be the ones to end it all..

End what? The witches are at war with vampires and shifters, even amongst themselves. Jasper will have to choose between Adalyn or his coven 🪄

💜arranged marriage/marriage of convenience
🪄 witch + witch
💜age gap romance

The third and final instalment of The Witches Bind Trilogy - there’s no coming back from this one!
The concept of this book was very enticing - there is an arranged marriage between witches that binds their elemental magic together. I liked how the author set up their meeting and relationship (consent was handled a lot better in this book than others of this series).
However, the writing itself was cringy and took you out of the moment - there was more telling than showing what was happening. While the main two characters were fleshed out a lot (almost too much - pages and pages of monologues), the other characters are very one dimensional. It was good to see the main couples from the other books come back, but their character development was nonexistent.
The ending was a surprise and would have been good if it wasn’t for Mary’s smugness, it felt as though the entire journey was for nothing.
Overall I enjoyed the concept of the story but the writing was basic - definitely my favourite out of the trilogy.

*Copy provided by netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

When this book was presented to me, I had no idea it was part of a trilogy. However, it is possible to read it without the previous books, and even understand the general plot points of the other two, making it for an interesting read and a satisfactory one.

Even though it lacks on character development and exposes the plot more than letting you find it for yourself, it makes for a quick and enjoyable read, in between more difficult reads. The writing is simplistic and fast paced, and so is the whole story.

The are some smut scenes, since we are of course talking about an erotic book, but they did not feel exagerated or distasteful.

Overall, a nice interlude to clear your head and enjoy some urban sexy fantasy.

Union Bound is the final book in The Witches’ Bind Trilogy by M.L. Philpitt. It follows Jasper and Adalyn who enter an arranged marriage in order to strengthen their covens.

I was so excited when I found out that Jasper was getting his own story because I absolutely loved him in Moon Bound. I do have to admit that there were times when I wanted to stab him in the face with a fork but I still loved him. I was rooting for Adalyn and Jasper from the beginning because I could tell that they were perfect for each even if they didn’t know it at the time.

I absolutely loved this trilogy and I can’t wait to find out what M.L. Philpitt does next.

4.5 rounded up
I really enjoyed this third book, even if Moon Bound was my favourite of the three. This one is about 2 powerful witches (Jasper and Adalyn). It’s marriage of convenience but with insta-attraction (which was really well done). Really entertaining, some twists I didn’t see coming (especially the ending).
