There are, fortunately, plenty of great books out there that can help you succeed in innovation and disruption, in 2021 and beyond.
Unsettled Disruption: Step-by-Step Guide for Harnessing the Evolving Path of Purpose-Driven Innovation is one of my favorite book on innovation , purpose-driven disruptive thinking this year, and I thought now would be a great time to update and share it with the readers of Innovation Excellence.
The book explains very clearly why disruptive and breakthrough innovations and taking care of your businesses at the time of uncertainty that's so difficult for large organizations. In essence, they fail not because they would be poorly managed, but because they are actually managed in a very sound, rational way that just happens to disincentivize innovation.
As such, the book is a great primer for anyone looking to understand the relationship between innovation , large organizations and disruption. Given that it simply focuses on the theory of disruptive innovation, pillars that would help you build your strategy, it is very actionable, my first recommendation for anyone looking to familiarize themselves with the topic.

I really love the concept and the way author has narrated it and shared his ideas and experience in it. I haven’t read any books like this before. Just read this book and run experiment into your real life through this books concepts.
the language of the book is also very easy so even if you're a beginner reader you can read it easily and the vocabulary of the book is also very good

I'm a huge fantasy and scifi guy but every once in a while you just have to expand and get back to the principles of learning.
Unsettled Disruption is an interesting take on how the current global pandemic has changed and reshaped our lives- even if we aren't paying attention. The author wastes no time diving right into the problem, one that has plagued what we assumed were successful businesses for a long time. (Think Toys-R-Us). Issues amplified with the spread of the world’s reaction to the pandemic and continue to worsen now with the supply chain crisis.
The concept of disruptive innovation first emerged in the 1990s and describes the process of how a product or service begins at the bottom of the market and eventually moves up to displace its competition. Juana-Catalina Rodriguez does a superb job of explaining this process and how it is being implemented in the modern economy.
My takeaway from this book is companies fail when they cannot or will not adjust to the shifting tides of business. Unsettled Disruption provides a useful playbook to prevent this from happening.
