It’s the final term for Tina, Maxim, Yana, and Ron, along with many of the inaugural Etheric Academy Class, and in true Alpha Class style, it doesn’t take long for a mission for justice to turn into a real-life episode of Star Journey . With the way back to Earth in ruins and graduation just around the corner, the students and their friends prepare to embark upon their greatest adventure yet—adulthood. What will the future look like? More importantly, will they head into that future together?
Not as much adventure as the other books but a nice ending to the series. Looking forward to seeing many of these characters in other parts of TKG universe.
Alpha Class Graduation is the conclusion of the “teens” adventures. This is the first of the four books that felt like a teenage academy book - which unfortunately is not typically my favorite. However, the story is well written and the conclusions to a few unanswered questions are revealed.
I can't believe that the Academy kids are all grown up and graduated. This was a great addition to the story and I hope to see them in another read in the future. Awesome Awesome Awesome series.
So I have to say this was a great book and a pleasure to read. That said, the rest of my review has some spoiler to it. The relationship between Ron and Tina was sweet and failed so spectacularly. Tina was so mean! Yes Ron had some weird expectations, so he was in the wrong too. That said, there is nothing wrong with a supportive couple staying together and still continuing to work towards their dreams. This just blew up and the constant bickering made them both seem like children (who don't deserve to graduate as adults) and made me like the book a bit less.
Think we can look forward to great things from this new author. I truly enjoyed this story of the students we've come to know in the previous three books in this series. Plenty of mischiefs, which resulted in adventures with unexpected twists and turns. As the students looked forward to their graduation and their future in space, there were some emotional moments I thought were very well written. The 4-star rating wasn't because this was not a great book, but since we are limited to 5 stars max when doing a rating, I had to take into consideration that even though I enjoyed reading, it wasn't a "Death Becomes Her". Wouldn't be surprised if the next one is. To Ms. Roberts, great job and, no matter what, keep writing!
I thoroughly enjoyed this last book of the Alpha Class. The bickering between Tina and Ron felt very abrupt, unfortunately, and it felt odd that such two mature students as they are, would be reduced to such petty bickering but, apart from that, the book was enjoyable.
I especially loved the Rabbit kerfuffle! Lol
The speeches at the end felt good, too. We didn't have such formal graduations when I was that age - it was more a Uni thing than for high school, I think, but I loved the formality that took these bright young men and women that we've been reading about over the series, from their final year at school, and on to their first step into adult life.
I hope there'll be more written of them in their new careers.
This is the final book in the "The Etheric Academy" series, and what a ending it is. N.D. Roberts says this is a "Young Adult" series designed for younger readers. Well as much as I like the author, I have to disagree with her on it's classification. This book Wii appeal to "Adult" and "Young Adult" readers as everyone, no matter their age has dreams. The entire series has been a romp through teenage mischief into the culmination of their inner most dreams. Queen Bethany Anne has a lot to be proud of, the students who graduated from her Academy and the Authors who created this series. Damn good book to end a damn good series.
I enjoyed reading this one. It's not just me, I'm sure, that reads a book and wonders about things that are rarely addressed. Today's question: Where do these kids get so much money?? They're constantly shopping and eating out through the entire series! And they use precious metals as currency now. So, is it "Hey, Mom! Can I have a small gold ingot please? Come on! Just a little one!". Oh well, anyway. Good book, as this little series has been, and I love getting details and full stories about things and people from the main series, that we normally wouldn't get. It makes the main series even better! ✋🐺
So happy to have read these books even though I am so far past YA that I can’t even see it in the rear view mirror! The kids are all grown up even if they are still pulling pranks. This is different from most of the KG books in that the level of both cursing and violence is low yet it still is a very engaging read. To those who haven’t read the first three in the series: you really must!
I've enjoyed the Alpha Class series, and Natale has wrapped up the series well. Lots of humour, angst (what's a novel about teenagers without it?), personal growth, and learning. The teens are finding their way in their world, discovering things about themselves and about life. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these characters in future series.
Grins, smiles, tears. Awesome finish. My granddaughters are the age of the students portrayed in this story. And being my granddaughters they are even smarter than those portrayed in this story. Course 60 + years ago I was more of an idiot than the "boys" portrayed. U
I have always loved this series and was very happy when they asked another author to finish it. ND Roberts did an awesome job. She kept the characters true to their beginnings and finished the story lines. I am very much looking forward to reading more books by her.
I have enjoyed reading all four of the Etheric Academy books. I know the authors said they where wrapping up the plot lines but I had a few that seemed to be left hanging. How did dogs get uplifted. How did people join those on the asteroid. How did the aliens get in the story. Where the computers AI. Look forward to reading the rest of your stories.
This set of four books of Alpha series was good, funny and sometimes frustrating especially wive Ron and Tina, but over readable. I just wish there where more books to follow especially where He hu and Todd is concerned, I feel that there is more to be had before this set is finished. But hey that's just my humble opinion guys
An awesome finish to the Alpha Class. Natalie you have done the difficult and made it shine. Not easy taking over in middle of an awesome series. Love the direction all the graduates are headed in.
It was a good finish to the series. I was excited to see it appear on Amazon and wasn’t disappointed at all. Hopefully the author will bring out future series for us to enjoy.
Fantastic..great story...good ending...but I still want more...its that good..you don't have to read the other books to enjoy this one...but then you would miss watching these characters grow and develop..very very enjoyable
I can’t wait to see what these graduates will go on to become in the next book these authors will write. You are fantastic storytellers and your imagination is beyond inspiring. ENJOY
I love the flow of this book. Developing these young characters helps to keep the Kurtherian universe alive for a very long time. I look forward to the spin offs from this series.
N. D. Roberts I love your books. (MA you know your great). Everything from the start of the series was tied up nicely and there re lots of directions to go from here. The KGU is such rich ground for the imagination.
I liked the first two Academy books. I more than liked book 3. And book 4, is a true commencement. N.D. Roberts , what can I say. Great job. I hope you will continue to write, because I enjoy your "voice".
You do great work! I'm binge reading this "universe" and just enjoying it . I've had a lot of pain in my right leg this last two weeks , and reading good stuff like this takes my mind (what's left of it) off the discomfort.
You can just tell that this isn't it for some of these characters in this story. While not quite necessary for the rest of the Kurtherian Gambit universe material to make sense, it certainly does put a bit of needed levity in the series.
Our class is set to graduate but they take on a few adventures before that happens. The last part of this book had me crying tears of joy and pride, so many feelings!
The Alpha Class books are so much fun to read. It's amazing that with two different authors the series is cohesive and the storytelling is fantastic. They are quick reads and I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of the graduates. Enjoy!
Loved how the graduation was handled. Loved Time's maturity and Ron's expectations of their future. Really like the tie in to the other books and characters.
I enjoyed this book tremendously and I was hoping thou would continue with the younger students. But alas that is not to be. Look forward to the next adventure.
Lord I remember when I started reading this series I wondered if they would all make it and they did!!! Those rabbits had a hay day tearing things up!! Read and enjoy!!
