A Paranormal MMM Daddy/middle Romance

Can two become three, or is sharing one Daddy unthinkable?

Dylan Crane is on a mission. When he discovers his missing brother has found a home at Forest Edge, Dylan sets out to find him. He follows a similar path, training to be a little through Scion House, hoping to meet a Daddy who can help him locate Ryan.

Daddy Christian is perfect for Dylan, especially given Dylan's penchant for feminine clothing and makeup, and Christian's desire to dress him up. He offers his home and his heart, not realizing his housemate, Brian, wants Christian for himself.

Brian has been in love with Christian for forever. His chance slips through his fingers when Christian brings home a little, but Dylan sees beneath the surface to what Brian truly wants. Unbelievably, he offers to share.

Can two become three, or is sharing one Daddy unthinkable?

Side by Side is the second book in the Forest Edge Series. Each story focuses on a new throuple with characters returning from previous books, an overall story arc, and mates finding their Happy Ever After. The series builds on the prior books and is best read in order.

Always an avid reader and colorful dreamer, it was only a matter of time before taking pen to paper, oftentimes literally. A firm believer in every song tells a story and every story has a song, I sing under my breath, tap my toes and swing my hips, much to the delight of my co-workers and friends. I freely admit that becoming a romance author is the best mid-life crisis a girl could ever have.

Great book

Other great book in this series. This story is about Dylan, Ryan's brother. Dylan finally finds his brother and some things extra too.

This book was given to me as an ARC, all opinions are my own.

Sweetness with some added feels, that's what the second book in the series brought me.
Dylan is a firecracker with a dominant side, Christian is a loving but flawed Daddy with his two boys and Brian is more fragile than he looks but strong enough to know what he wants.
I was unsure how the stories would connect and if it would work, but I found I liked the shared view points between Dylan, Ryan and Brian, it let me keep in touch with our boys, and the story felt richer because of it.

It's a different take on the Daddy/little stories, this one have some Dom/sub moments as well. It's well written with plenty of cuddling along with the intimacy, a monkey crane and playful foxes.

I look forward to the next book in the series.

Side by Side is the second book in the Forest Edge series and quite frankly, I liked it a lot more than the first. In the first book, I felt that she tried too hard to force Ryan/Eli into a daddy/little pairing. This book seems more natural, more effortless. It could be that the trio of Dylan/ Brian and Christian mesh so well. Or it could simply be that Dylan is a nicer, more sympathetic character than his brother, Ryan.
Enjoyable. This is only the second book I've read with a service twist. It was well done.

OMG! This is the dumbest crap I have read in a long time!
The Daddy is a most useless self-absorbed man ever! I just felt sad for Brian. He was insecure and lonely person living with and loving a selfish asshole who took advantage of his good nature. The "daddy" (let's be real, he really isn't a daddy, he is a more of a selfish Dom) brings home a little, and doesn't even hava a courtesy to tell Brian beforehand, but he does however make Brian wash his bedsheets, so he can have sex with the little in a clean bed!!!! OMG!!! (Wash your own god-damned sheets asshole!!) The "Daddy" doesn't even take care of his little, Brian does that too. Brian cooks and cleans and does everything around the house while working 2 jobs. And he feels unwanted because the "daddy" ( who is supposed to be his friend of 4 years and a roommate of 2 years) uses him for sex but never talkes to him about how he feels about Brian or asked how Brian was feeling about anything! There is no conversation of any kind, only sex where Brian services two selfish men. I was just uncomfortable reading this!

The writer really needed to do more research before she attempted to write about the topic. So disappointing..

I'm so disappointed in myself for wasting my time on this crap!

Wow!!!

I am enjoying this series so much. The author’s take on shifters is unique and the world beautifully complex. I love how each relationship isn’t instalove but an actual build up with all the feels included. I am so glad the author took the plunge to write and incidentally my first mm romance was the same. I did the same with Goodreads too just not the talented writer part lol. I strongly recommend reading this series and checking out the other books the author has written.

Brilliant. Loved it.
It's a follow on from book one with Dylan finding his brother Ryan . Dylan gets a contract with Alpha Christian to be his little , but Christian's house mate Brian becomes very upset, he's been in love with Christian for 4 years . Their relationship has highs and lows . Lots to sexy scenes, and every one learning to have trust in their new relationship.
This is a follow on from Hand in Hand with Alpha Eli, Jon and Ryan as major characters.
A brilliant read

So, even though it's established in book 1.5 that Ryan has told Eli that he's part shifter (excerpt below), in this book, which takes place after that one, Eli and Jon once again do not know Ryan's secret (again, excerpt below).

"“I miss my brother, Dylan, most of all,” Ryan admitted, snuggling into Daddy’s chest. “He’d love it here. He’s a full-crane shifter, not half like me.”" Page 37, Ryan's Weekend Retreat

"I’m half-crane. I haven’t told anybody, not even Eli or Jon know I’m a hybrid." Page 24, Side By Side

I also find it confusing that when characters are shifted, the author calls them not by name, but what type of animal they are. This is especially confusing given that there are multiple shifters of the name species.

Poor writing in general.

Sometimes you need a third to create the perfect relationship. Dylan's on the hunt for his brother and is picked by Christian to be his little. Unbeknownst to Christian, his roommate Brian, is in love with him and devastated when he learns that Christian has chosen a little.

Luckily, Dylan is smart for his age and sees the issue between the 2 men and helps guide the group into a triad relationship.

This book is a cute followup to the first book. This is a different take on age play. Dylan isn't a little because he wants that type of relationship and there's not a lot of traditional age regression in this book.

I received an ARC, but all opinions are my own.

Side by Side is the second book in the Forest Edge series. Continuing where book one ended, this book potentially could be read as a standalone, but I think it works best reading it after the first book. I was a little disappointed with the plot - it was too scattered and never built any momentum. The characters' personalities seemed to fluctuate a bit. There was still a lot of fluff and hot, intimate moments.

What a way to start the second book! Nice job just revealing the secret and skipping over it hahaha.
Dylan goes in search of his big brother but manages to discover himself along the way. Christian, Brian and Dylan toghether is beautiful but the way Brian doesn't know who he is is sad. But he eventually works it out and they all work toghether to become the best throuple possible.

DNF. Made it a quarter of the way, felt like half of the POV was Ryan from the first book. First sex scene was also the first book's throuple.
