I don't remember the last time I picked up a graphic novel. I used to be really into these short, fun webtoons; stayed up nights with one of those series during quarantine; it kept me great company. I was so upset when I lost track of the pieces I had read and enjoyed before. I've been wanting to get back into it for a while now and just yesterday a short trailer of this series popped up in my YT home feed. At first glance, it seemed so similar to one of my favorite K-drama 'Doom At Your Service', that I went ahead and bought the whole series.
At the beginning, you see Hanna being socially awkward, always one step out of the door; she struggles silently and has no one to watch over her. She attends classes at day and works multiple part time jobs at night that barely scrape together her living expenses. Devil number 4 appears before her just by the end of one of those hard days and tells her that her desperation could be heard from the underworld; he offers her a generous deal and won't let go until she accepts. We can see how his presence makes her forget her problems for a while, she's more at ease with him around. He gives her the kindness she never had and as they grow closer, the devil starts feeling guilty about the bargain they have going on. It's a lovely story of friendship between a devil and his human client.

A wish in exchange of a soul but the client he was assigned to this time, however in struggle she is, doesn't seem to have any wish to offer. It puts him in an unsettling position with the headquarters; the pressure from his authorities grows, and he is nowhere close to breaking through the girl's mind.

i was INVESTED in this story when it came out but its ending completely messed me up. i’m afraid to touch it again

This was so sweet and funny from the start but then it got so sad. I really really like this story.

Such an amazing concept with weak execution. None of these character motivations and decisions make sense. They are just doing things for the plot or for humor. I feel like I am missing a chapter between each chapter because something will happen without any context. I won't be continuing the series.

I started reading this back during quarantine when I was depressed and in my WebToon era. As with most old incomplete obsessions, I had the strongest urge to find out how it ended and stayed up until like 4 am just to finish it. What a beautiful story and such a sweet romance :')

This is one of my favorite webtoons. Rereading it always brings me so much joy 😭 the art is great and only gets better, and the story is exquisite. The devil is silly but lovable and Hanna is pitiful but such a wonderful character. I love this story to bits!!

All time favorite *where he falls first* and *wanted to use her but ends up falling for her instead* webtoon. I'm always down for stories where demons fall for humans they wanted to use knowing what consequences they will face and still they give in to the love. AHHHH ITS SO GOOD I FEEL LIKE REREADING IT IS THIS A SIGN!?!?!

Leí los 120 capítulos y lo reseño aquí porque me da flojera calificar los 8 volúmenes.
Honestamente no sé cómo sentirme. Fue como una historia que comenzó a abarcar más temas y tramas de las que pudo manejar.
Al menos a la protagonista quiso darle una profundidad a su carácter, cualidades y defectos, motivaciones que se sienten creíbles para justificar sus acciones. A pesar de eso, el romance (que se supone es lo principal aquí) nunca llegó a conmoverme. Lo más fascinante eran los problemas entre los demonios y los ángeles, debates sobre el bien y el mal y el control absoluto de dios sobre sus creaciones, que después quedó en segundo plano y se "resolvió" de forma muy simple. Estoy un poco decepcionada.

Read this on webtoon so basically i'll use this volume 1 to review all episodes in this manhwa.
First of all, I LOVE the art. This manhwa seriously full of visual characters. Everyone's pretty.
I also like how author made me cry just in very first episode, those scenes when hanna shows her strong heart even tho everything against her.
The plot is *chef kiss*. I like how some devil really potrayed as fallen angels, and the fact the author made god as villain😭 It's against my religion principle, but as fiction, I really enjoyed this.
Beautiful ending, yet bittersweet. Hopin the best for mika and number 313. And devil number 2 with pyeonghwa? THEY'RE SO CUTEEE MAY THIS KIND OF LOVE (not including the waiting and hunted by god tho) FOUND ME.

Lo leí en Webtoon, por lo que no sé qué tomos abarcan qué capítulos, así que doy una opinión general.
Al principio parece una historia muy básica de un triángulo amoroso entre una chica, un chico y un demonio. Sin embargo, el mundo es muy interesante y el pasado de los personajes es sumamente bueno, sin mencionar lo mucho que aportan los personajes secundarios. Definitivamente me sorprendió para bien.
De lo mejorcito de Webtoon, y eso no es poco decir.

December 12, 2024great concept and completely muddled execution, that ending was just criminal. I would have rather found out it was cancelled or something lol (and not too mention, I think the backstory with #1/demon lord being the first angel was mentioned once and then completely dropped)
Will admit I folded and read it because #4 is like prettiest person I have seen in (hmm maybe inho baek but a significant part of my love for him is rooted in his personality).

Okey... No es el tipo de historia de ángeles y demonios que amo, pero esta historia la AMÉ. Me encariñé con los personajes y, a pesar de todo, solo quería que fueran felices.
No entendí bien el porque de algunas cosas que pasaron al final... pero en ese momento solo quería que todo acabe bien.
Amo a Sejoon y Paz.

An interesting take on good and evil, and what it means to really be good. It also has a very different take on God. You're left wondering whether God is actually either good or caring. The interactions between a demon struggling not to like the person whose soul he wants and a woman who has given up all hope and is perfectly happy to give up on her soul was well written.

Relectura després d'haver-lo llegit a finals de l'any passat. Semblava típica història de dimoni s'enamora d'humana, però ella té un caràcter que se surt força de la norma i la trama està farcida de girs que la fan força trepidant. Llàstima que la relectura perd intensitat i força a la sèrie :( però tot i així són molt cuquis i les il·lustracions moníssimes ♥

But like I read this story in a day… it was good 😭 there wasn’t anything that really stuck out to me tho it was just a nice read? I would’ve liked maybe a diff ending like the way they both just survived tickled me but if one died and reincarnated like peace that would’ve been slay too

Eu odeio de verdade essa trope de garota humana simples e inocente que encontra um homem moralmente cinza com passado triste de mil anos de idade. Me senti lendo Lore Olimpus de novo.
Esse casal tem zero qumica e não sei como que vai florescer um amor ali. Num geral a escrita é confusa e eu finalmente entendi que eu não gosto de quadrinhos.

Disfruté mucho de la lectura y para ser sincera no me esperaba para nada toda la trama del libro (vida pasadas, reencarnación, ángeles y demonios) y me terminó sorprendiendo bastante.
