Firstly thank you once again to Frances for sending me this book. This is the second book in the Love Born of Fire trilogy.

Piper is the cousin of Sarah who we met in hawks heart. Piper and Sarah look incredibly similar and have soo many memories of growing up until pops family moved away. She is strong fiesty, independent and certainly doesn't pull any punches. When we first meet her she is in Montana and has just been let go from her job confused about what to do with herself until she sees her cousin plastered on the front of a magazine with the incredibly hot Xander Hawkins. So decides to head home and be with the only family she has left. But after a run-in with a stranger and a quickie with him in the bar, she can't get him out of her mind.

Jack is Sarah's best friend and the father of her son. He is troubled with grief and guilt from his first wife dying and the pain over them not being able to conceive but goes to Montana to try and work through some of it only to meet a woman who he connects with and enjoys a night of steamy passion with her. Only to see her on his return home and realise she is is Sarah's cousin the one he kissed as a teenager.

This is a beautiful story with some raw pain that can truly be felt throughout. There is soo much love and kindness and care for each other you can't help but want to be a part of their family. This is a wonderful story, not many passionate scenes but you feel the passion they have for each other. My only critique would be that the ending felt slightly rushed but other than that I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait for number 3.

I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.

I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.

Piper and Jack keep crossing paths over the years and do not recognize each other until pieces fall together. When she goes back home to see her cousin, he is there again and stunned is the only word. The characters continue from the first book, but enough backstory is given to catch up and give you a second side for what happened between Jack and Sarah. So many surprises and twists in this book as Piper and Jack find their way. Healing old wounds, forgiving yourself, tight families and new little ones - both puppies and babies - make the story more entertaining. Loved the chemistry and closeness as they open up to each other. Great ending.

This is book two in The Love Born of Fire Series and it is Piper and Jackson's story. What do you do when you have a one fling with a man that you can't get out of your mind only to find out that he is your cousin's best friend well that is the situation that Piper finds himself in but what will the outcome be for them as they have strong and intense chemistry. Wow I really enjoyed reading this book as the characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and kept your attention right until the last page and I couldn't put this book down. Frances Everly is a brilliant author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book as it was so well written and definitely worth reading and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.
