I love this book. Also I wrote this book so I don't know if that makes you judge me and think I'm bias. But since I'm usually my harshest critic I feel like this should mean something because I generally hate most of my work. Maybe it comes down to my own view of myself worth and whether what I create is actually good and...

I've gotten off track.

I don't love this book because it explores so much of Carter and Donovan's lives. No, that would be too basic of a reason to love it. (Though I still do love it for that, it's just not my main reason)

The real reason I love this book is because I decided I am whole heartedly in love with Mason Douglas. Something I didn't think possible in the first draft of A Secret Service. But when he showed up in this book, then slowly wiggled his way into more and more chapters I realized that I absolutely loved him.

After reading this book can you really blame me?

You might be looking at the screen with a weird face imagining you can see me seeing you giving me a weird face (my brain hurts from that sentence) but believe me it's true. He won't win your love and affection, he will steal your heart from your chest and smile the whole time. Because that's who he is. And in the end you'll love him for it.

Really this book should be called Joy Loves Mason, subtitle And yeah Carter and Donovan too I guess.

Ok so this is a book filled with one shots worthy of 10 stars. I really love it. No stupid nonsensical drama but level headed characters who go through life as it takes them. Looking for non toxic masculinity and relationship well this should be your go to book. Looking for strong and mature guys and girls who respect each other, welcome. The humor will crack you up and the action will leave you amazed. Ohh and the flirting.... That will leave you swooning and the respect and love the couples have for each other will raise your expectations a notch higher in real and fictional world too. Trust me after reading this if you stumbled upon a cliche book with exes and revenge and drama and guys who use girls till they meet 'the one's you'll back out right away cause this piece shows what quality content means. I can't get enough of this book and my love for it keeps growing everytime I reread it... I'll say more but I am afraid I'll end up giving spoilers so I'll stop. Hats off to you joy😍😍

As our life goes on, we have a lot of memories both good and bad but not all of them are categorized as important or worth remembering because most of them will be a daily routine. There's only some of them both good and bad ones we consider worth remembering. This book is like that. It gives you sneak peek at Carter & Donovans most important parts of their life. Or at least that's what I feel. Good books are just like a good series. Once the last episode is up, we feel the want for more. We don't want the story to just end as a happily ever after. We don't want the book to end at all even if it's a happy ending. So I really appreciate Joy for making up her mind to give us this wonderful book and making us happy for not closing the chapters of our favorite characters in our life. This book is worth reading but just a heads up you will have to read the 1st book "A Secret Service" before reading this and I guarantee both these books are worth reading a 1000 times. Enjoy reading!

I loved 'A Secret Service' if you did too then hop right into it to get the full experience and you'll thoroughly enjoy it, I assure you 'cause I did. If you haven't read these two books you're definitely missing.
In this book you get to explore great dynamic between different characters we didn't get to know much about and especially Mason, you'll love him and not just him there's lot more to fall in love with.
I have read numerous books on Wattpad and no other author (as far as I went through) is as dedicated as author Joy about one shots and she gives each week a new update which I anticipate the whole week and she never disappoints. After having read 100+ one shots of the same book you might think the new chapters lack the spice or boring but I'm surprised and delighted that they're amazing as ever and I keep craving for more.
So anyone who decides to read Open Case File you've made a wonderful choice.

Still reading and loving it.... what do I love about it? Well, hmmm, let me count the ways:) Carter, Donavan, Mason and so many more faces come to life and let you escape into their world of love, jibber jabbering back 'n forth talk between flawed but lovable characters who always come through in a pinch. And we can't forget how they overcome the odds and win the fight of good over evil.

I have read this previously and I have to say, it is one of the best-written books till date that I have read. Author Joy Jenkins doesn't disappoint this time. It's fun-filled, humorous and still carries the essence of A Secret Service. It's an excellent read, though it might move you to tears at some points. But what's a good book without a few tears?

To anyone who has read A Secret Service and has fallen in love with Carter and Donovan and Link and Amy and somehow wants to see Mason become and important part of their lives, please read this. Because dear lord this book has made me laugh and cry and grin like a maniac and yell in outrage and.... a lot of crazy emotions that I cannot begin to describe.

A Secret Service was absolutely brilliant, there is no doubt. But this masterpiece is so interesting to read because it lets you know the true depth of the characters you read about in there. You get to know them at an almost personal level. Not only does it have Donovan's, Link's as well as Mason's point of view, it also really helps conclude some of the things left untouched in A Secret Service. Link and Mason's relationship with each other. Carter and the Keller Brothers. Link and Mason with their father. Steve and Maggie.

Plus, a lot of other really spectacular one shots about Carter and Donovan being an amazing duo. Joy highlights how they handle problems, how they handle each other's (sometimes irrational) anger. How their efforts maintain a relationship so precious. So if you've read A Secret Service and have fallen in love with these people, you would definitely love to read this. And if you've read A Secret Service and NOT fallen in love with these people, you are not human. Scientists: this is a sign of an alien invasion and they do not come in peace.

So yes, I suggest you read it :D

This is like an extension to "A Secret Service." Think of a bunch of Bonus Chapters put into 3 different books (on Amazon). They range from early childhood to highschool, career to marriage, career to having kids.
