Another fun 3.x★ fic, rounded up.

It's anti- Alby-Walby Meddlemore with his string of bad decisions, Ronniekins with his delusional jealousy and inability to take responsibility, Malfoy Junior with his false assumption that his daddy can protect him from consequences of any vicious act, oh, and Cho with her unrepentant bullying of Luna and possessiveness over Cedric.

Harry and his supporters (including goblins, Grangers, the Quibbler, and many more) deal multiple defeats to those who would manipulate, abuse, and/or slander him, provoking big changes for the better both in the Ministry and in Hogwarts, uniting the champions (and their families) in a true and eye-opening spirit of friendly cooperation, honor, and generosity, and even giving most of Slytherin a chance to turn their once-rightfully-proud House around under an unexpected new Head.

It's mainly light, with Harry mocking and sometimes pranking the Tournament-as-planned and his involuntary participation. The content warning is for one attempted sexual assault, quickly interrupted and soon punished.

I'm not going to say much about the creatively original plot climax[es], other than that it does have an upbeat resolution.

Once again, the Harry/Hermione relationship accelerates from friendship to betrothal PDQ, but the physical expression thereof remains basically at the lots-of-kissing stage.

How well most things go may be a tad wish-fulfillment-y, but it can be nice to just "go with it" sometimes. N.b., this is a Founders' Heir Harry story, an authority which is definitely helpful to his goals.

The proofreading and style aren't polished, deep, literature quality, but that's okay; it's quite readable and generally satisfying anyway.

I did feel the very last scene was "just another scene", lacking éclat/ impact, partly since I did expect one other extra event to reach a conclusion, rather than just be set up (as I believe another reviewer has alluded to, too), but still, "could be more" doesn't equal objectionable.

Here's my unspoilery, focused on the positives, end-of-reading comment:
From wonderfully salty, well-deserved public embarrassments and ruinations, to sweet romance and diverse friendships, with just the right bit of serious thoughts to both, and of course your clever twists on the graveyard ritual, this story contains a LOT of good stuff — thanks for sharing!

I've enjoyed some of Robst's other works quite a lot. Here I've never seen the tournament turn into quidditch before, although many of the other things had been done. Shorter than my usual fanfic and without too much adult themes, this is a reasonably entertaining look into what might happen if the Goblins step up.

One of my favorite fanfic authors, this one feels a bit unfinished though, I wish there were a few more chapters.
