The author is an avid crafter, hiker, and nature lover. She has been a special education teacher for over two decades. She began her career in the Peace Corps and currently teaches at a public middle school in upstate NY. Her students who struggle daily with reading and writing inspired her, yet persevere and are successful. She has enjoyed a lifetime of crafting including origami, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, and currently book folding.
This is her first publication. She is excited to share her love of book folding with you. She owns and operates the successful Etsy store, PatternyBooks, specializing in book folding patterns. I conceived this book from the overwhelming questions and feedback from her customers. With the publication of this book, she hopes to popularize the art of book folding to both crafters and aspiring crafters.
